Some would say that a civilian government is better than military and others, the sheriff called Obasanjo has taken or caused more lives than the Islamic leaders of the North combined. Life expectancy in Nigeria is an all time low at 45. Fuel is hiked almost every month, kick back [bribery] is the norm. HIV is troubling in both the west and mostly Northern Nigeria. No single industry or white-collar job has been produced since Obasanjo took over. However, you approached it is a mixed bag of the lowest good, the bad bad and the urgly. And I ask, Is there any joy in Nigeria at age 43? ?
Hail Biafra

That country is suffering from AIDS. It is not taking AZT or any of the drugs that could prolong its life. Therefore, it will soon go hell.

The problem with Baifranigeria is the muslims in that country. As long as we have this people in our mist and near the control of power, that country will never progress. How can a country where at least 30% of her population are muslims progress when, besides their poor work culture, these people keep using productive man hours to pray to mohamed 5 times a day. Image for a minute how many productive hours goes to waste b/c of this practice all over the nation and they steal get paid their full salary at the end of the day/month. This is just one take. They also tend to some a lot and take a lot of "smoke" breaks with pay.
Like I said, I think that we are all wel informed on the other negative aspects of this religion which I will not get into at this point. Convert these guys to Christianity and see biafranigeria take a positive step.
We do have some bad christians but they learn whatever they do wrong from outside the teachings of the religion.

The best thing that can happen to black people now is for this House of Cards to come down on its own, so we can have Biafra and show the world the difference - again. This nigeria House, built on the work ethics of the Yoruba/Hausa and a culture of lawlessness, is a major source of embarrassment for all blacks worldwide.
Nigeria is easily the largest failed state in the world. It is a state that has not only failed to meet the aspiration of its citizens but is at war with those citizens! The Nigerian state originally founded by our fathers on the noble philosophy of Pan-Africanism and black renaissance has been hijacked by a rentier mob. It has lost its raison d'etre, claiming more black lives than the entire colonial enterprise in Africa.
As the rotten edifice continues to fall apart under the weight of its own irreconcilable internal contradictions, those who once shouted themselves hoarse about the need for a restructured, modernised state have today become the greatest defenders of the decrepit status quo. Some people are up in arms in spirited defence of the stricken and limping contraption
Meanwhile, some humanised vultures continue to perform their macabre dance on the carcass of the failed state, feasting in their newly restored clientele system, seeing nothing and hearing nothing, only lifting their maggot-covered beaks to howl at critics of the rot. The semi-literate thugs who have taken over the hollow edifice are now strutting about, celebrating state failure and conferring each other with empty titles in their so called independence anniversary, the most horrifying display of official stupidity anywhere in the world. Amidst the comic relief show, a top state official is reportedly moaning about "poor treatment" by embassy officials of "legislators" scrambling to escape from Nigeria - the ultimate black paradise on earth! So independence from what?
THE ANATOMY OF FAILURE
1. The Nigerian Railway Corporation is dead. The same railway system built by the colonialists has totally collapsed, its stations overgrown by tall weeds. Behind those railway yards once bustling with life, young men struggle for rickety buses, pushing the elderly, women and children over in their mad rush to nowhere.
2. The Nigeria Airways is dead. All the planes in the fleet have been impounded around the world by sundry creditors, its assets are looted. Shameful, for even the small landlocked state of Zimbabwe runs a national airline competently. And Ghana Airways is bidding to fly the international routes originally allocated to the moribund Nigeria Airways.
3. The Nigeria National Shipping Line is dead. All the ships in the fleet sold and its assets looted.
4. Nigeria National Electricity Power Authority (NEPA) is dead, its obsolete equipment most of them installed by the colonial government maliciously vandalized. Today, some low grade workers and peasants are suspended from work for failing to switch on power generators the airports to enable the "VIPs" land! Even the colonial masters were never so arrogant and insolent to the downtrodden masses.
5. The Nigeria's Ports Authority is dead. Shippers and port users run to small neighbouring states of Benin, Togo, Ghana etc to do business in peace and quiet.
6. The Nigeria's healthcare system is dead. Government officials openly declare without shame that they are travelling abroad for medical check and treatment not available in the state they run.
7. The Nigerian educational system is dead. Graduates of Nigerian "universities" who can barely read and write are barred by foreign institutions.
8. The Nigerian Police Force is dead, replaced by armed, ethnic vigilantes. Its armed thugs are at war with the civil population who are routinely shot at the back in numerous extortion points created up and down the total state. Tear gas are hurled roputinely and imported dogs unleashed at civil groups.
9. The Nigerian army is dead. Now described as an "army of anything goes, its soldiers are fighting Nigerian citizens in the Niger delta creeks and elsewhere - Odi Zaki Biam etc. Among the officer ranks, Yoruba generals now salute Hausa majors in a comic, macabre show of shame.
10. Nigeria is the 6th largest oil producing state, but there are no drops of petrol, kerosene or other related products in Nigeria.
11. Nigeria is ranked as the 13th poorest country in the world, operating an absurd rentier economy, its citizens harassed by small states Libya, Trinidad etc. The Sahara desert is littered with skeletons of its citizens escaping from the black paradise on earh presided over by Mr obasanjo.
12. Nigeria is classed as the most corrupt state in the whole world.
13. The Nigerian telecommunication system is dead. You can spend hours on end trying to phone the failed state and yet be unsuccessful. If you manage to get through, someone, a rogue, would be listening on the other end with a view to duping you or your relatives on the basis of the personal information you reveal on the phone. By contrast, you could pick any phone anywhere in the globe and ring the tiny landlocked state of Zimbabwe and get through within seconds with no threat to your security.
14. The Nigerian Postal system is dead. Any letter posted abroad will never reach its destination in the collapsed state, no matter what the sender does. If you like, register, insure, send the US army, air force and navy, the letter will be opened and vandalized. No foreign country now accepts insured or registered mail to Nigeria.
15. The Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation is dead. Radio Nigeria can barely be heard beyond its immediate location in the suburbs of Lagos.
16. The Nigerian morality is dead. It is the only country in which an airplane was stopped and robbed in the runway! Meanwhile its women are walking the streets of Italy as prostitutes, the butt of silly jokes around the world. nc

May be that house of cards need a little nudge in order to crumble, It better crumble sooner than later. Later may be too late to save anything.
Now that we know Obasanjo is gasing his opponents to death, is it possible he also has a sense of humor and he is putting laughing gas in the canister too? How could BiafraNigerians be so happy in the face of so much misery? Posts: 90 | Registered: Mar 2001

I think that the west was just mocking nigerians and Mexico another sorry state that share top honors with nigeria.
How can nigerian be happy with all these muslims running around either begging for arms or just waiting for the next riot against hard working Igbos and the Easterners of Southern BiafraNigeria?
Please can the British come back and save this country (re-colonize us)from the ever backward migration that the Yoroba and their Hausa/Fulani brothers us on since 1963.
