I don't know if I should paste this in the funny thread or here. I know that sometime, I post without reviewing it but I am not a professional.

ANAMBRA:

RITUALIST; THE State Police Command at the weekend announced the rescue of two teenagers from a suspected ritualist now at large. The command spokesman, Mr. Dolapo Sofoluwe, said the two boys, aged one and three years, were rescued from the fleeing suspect and brought to a police station in Awka by a good Samaritan.

LAGOS:

BANDITS: AT about 4.30 pm last Thursday, a team of Operation Fire for Fire policemen on patrol around Aspanda spare parts market, Trade Fair complex, received a distress call that a gang of four armed robbers was operating within the market. In a swift reaction the Police team moved to the scene and engaged them in a gun duel.

At the end of the battle, one of the robbers, name and address yet unknown was shot dead while others escaped with bullet wounds. Items recovered from them according to the command spokesman, Mr. Emmanuel Ighdalo included one locally made double barrel shot-gun cut to size, with four rounds of live cartridges.

FIRE INCIDENT: PRECISELY 2.00pm last weekend, there was a report at Akinpelu Police station that House No 457, Agege motor road and another two-storey building were on fire. In a swift reaction, a team of policemen from the station was dispatched to the scene to provide security. Information gathered at the scene revealed that the fire, which could have been caused by a spark in one of the NEPA cables, started from one of the shops before it spreads to the others. However no life was lost, but value property destroyed is yet to be estimated. The case is under investigation.


OGUN:

MOTOR ACCIDENT: NINE Abeokuta bound passengers died during the week in an auto crash at Itori village in the Ewekoro local government area. The passengers who were mainly traders burnt beyond recognition in the accident, which occurred at noon on the expressway now under construction.

ONDO:

HOOLIGANISM: YOUTHS at Emure-Ile, near Owo, in Ondo State have gone on rampage clubbing a high chief to death and setting ablaze the palace of the traditional ruler of the town, Oba Simeon Adelubaje Adeyefa over a chieftancy tussle.

Chief A Ajiwoye was reportedly beaten to death by the youths and his body dumped in a bush as the crises entered its third year.

DELTA

AUTO CRASH: A ghastly motor accident involving a motorcyclist, popularly known as Okada and a 504 peugeot car which occurred during the week on the Ibusa-Asaba road has claimed four lives. The vehicle and the "okada" were said to be heading for Asaba before the incident happened.

EBONYI

MURDER; FIVE All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) supporters who were allegedly arrested for killing one Daniel Nwanchor, a head master and a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporter, including the burning of many houses at Ikwo during the April elections have been arraigned for murder at the Abakaliki Chief Magistrate court.

It would be good to know from where all the above pieces of articles were obtained or are obtainable.

Some articles from Nigeria are pure propaganda. They are designed to push Nigerians in diaspora to having heart attacks. I do not necessarily mean the above.

In any case,with little attention to details and by following up many articles, we end up discovering them, including the responsible for those propaganda and at times atrocities in Nigeria/Africa.
