list goes on. While the other people from the other zones are being removed, the
yorubas are being employed. The yorubas constitute 70% of financial and oil

Nigerian civil service?

It all happened at Four Season's Hotel in down town Houston, Texas on November
4, 2003.President Obasanjo was at his best at what he does very well, displaying
comic comedy, with some air of arrogance. Sensing that he had come to meet
psychotic crowd made up of Yoruba origins, he was more of a standing comedian
and less of a president of a country addressing his country men and women. I
came there as many other Nigerians to listen to what he had to say on the
Nigerians insuperable problems and how he intends to divulge the solutions.
Problems such as lack of healthcare, dilapidated education system, unemployment,
social, political, economic, security and transportation. Rather than dwell on
these issues, Mr. president began to entertain his audience on how he has
succeeded to monetize corruption.

He told the audience that when he was the military head of state, Nigeria had
about 19 ships in her fleet, 32 aircrafts in the Nigerian Airways inventory. But
when he became president in 1999, (thanks to Mr. Babangida and Mr. Abdul Salami
Abubakar) he met only one ship and was sold by a Nigerian official for $500,000.
One year later, the Nigerian official bought the same ship for $1,500,000 and
used $1,000,000 to refurbish it. Six months after, the official came to him thatIt is not a secret that Mr. Joseph Sanusi a yoruba
man is the head of the central bank, Mr. Kayode Naiyeju a yoruba man is the
Accountant-General of Nigeria, Mr. Joseph Ajiboye is the Auditor-General of
Nigeria, Rasheed Gbadamosi a Yoruba heads PPPRA, Mr. Kpolokun heads NNPC, Mr.
Tarfa Balogun is IG of police, Mr. Obasanjo is the minister for petroleum. Dr.
Peter Okebukola is the head of N.U.C, the Dir-general of SSS is a Yoruba. The
list goes on. While the other people from the other zones are being removed, the
yorubas are being employed. The yorubas constitute 70% of financial and oil
sector employees. Is this not Oduduwa economic imperialism and yorubanization of
Nigerian civil service?
the ship was arrested and detained for sea worthiness and that he needed
$500,000 to retrieve the ship. Just few months ago the Nigeria transport
minister requested his permission to sell the ship for $700,000. On the 32
aircrafts in the Nigerian Airways inventory, he only met one aircraft. He also
said that the Nigerian Railway Corporation

spends N250,000,000 for it's monthly salary and pensions, but the railway’s
monthly income is only N30,000,000. As he was exposing the level of corruption
in his government, trust me, he was getting rousing ovation. Even from those who
could barely understand his fraudulent expressions. At a point, it became aware
to me that I was not hearing from a Nigerian president, but a yoruba president.
My understanding of his presidential expressions is that he was concurring to
the Transparency International rating of Nigeria as the 2nd most corrupt nation
in the world. But is the president doing something about corruption in Nigeria?
Only if your name is Sani Abacha. I don't see Obasanjo confronting corruption
in Nigeria when his whole presidency and administration are shrouded in
corruption, nepotism and vindictiveness. He came through corruption and
administers the country through corruption and vindictiveness. Now comes the
question time. He was asked about the lingering insecurity in Nigeria which he
blunted the question and was given an ovation. He was asked about the police
brutality in Nigeria of which his answer was what happened to him and police
when he was a young Lt. in Nigerian army. The answer was the most uncouth. Then
came a question about internationalization of Enugu Airport.

After answering about seaport which no body mentioned of, he injected a story of
one land locked African country’s head of state who told a Russian official
who visited his country that his country has a minister of navy. When again he
was reminded that the question was an airport. He finally said that he has
discussed the issue with the Enugu state governor and told him that if he can
get any international airline that can land people there, he will provide
customs and immigration service, apparently the structures that give an airport
international status. This in effect means that a woman has to bear a child
before she becomes pregnant. Enugu airport has to find international airline
that will first land people in it before it can be internationalized. Finally
Mr. Obasanjo displayed what average Igbo man knows of him about Ndigbo in
general and that is, that Enugu airport as a geopolitical zone will not and
cannot become an international airport as long as Port har Court, Jos, Yola,
Lagos, Kaduna, Kano, Ilorin and Maiduguri and Sokoto are all international
airports. These airports are not within the six geopolitical zones. Sometimes
Mr. president forgets that he was speaking to an informed audience as he was
dillydallying on simple questions. As soon as he made it clear that Enugu
airport will not be an international airport, he was given the loudest ovation
by the yorubas.

It is now becoming clear to many Nigerians as to what Mr. Obasanjo and his
administration represent to Nigerians. The barrage of criticisms even from his
diehard clowns and unexpected individuals and unexpected quarters are very
glaring. Mr. Obasanjo has monetized corruption. Mr. Obasanjo has
institutionalized tribalism in the Nigerian civil service. Mr. Obasanjo has
destroyed federal character principle through the corruption of the national
assembly and the Federal Character Commission who look the other way while
Obasanjo yorubanizes Nigeria and her institutions. Little wonder why his errand
man in the senate Mr. Adolphus Wabara dissolved the standing committee of the
senate because Mr. Obasanjo could not get his way through the committee that
oversees the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission, RMAFC
chaired by Sen. Osunbor. For so long the national economic and financial
industries have been controlled by the yorubas who have run them aground. Now
the president has brought few Igbo hands to clean the mess as is usual with
Nigerian leaders. The only time these tribal and sectional leaders remember that
Ndigbo are Nigerians is when they ruin the country and her economy and want
people to clean them up. Yet we have the national assembly, we have the
judiciary. Obasanjo has corrupted and destroyed all the national institutions,
the army, the police, the national assembly, the judiciary, the state governors
and even the states’ structures, the INEC. He has assumed the power of a
ruthless Monarch guided and condoned by the army and the police. No one in
Nigeria can criticize Obasanjo without being killed or imprisoned. Obasanjo does
not tolerate opposition. Obasanjo sets up an idle commission called ICPC to
witch hunt oppositions and political opponents and some state governors who tend
to challenge his ruthless policies .He has conquered the nation, now he has
turned his destructive machine to Anambra state. He withdrew police orderlies
for top government officials and other V.I.Ps to know how many of his
oppositions could be eliminated, but still provide Chris Uba with retinue of
mobile police to enable him carry out his nefarious functions in Anambra state
.Doesn't it sound idiotic that federal roads in Anambra state were lying uncared
for , but as soon as governor Chris Ngige began to rehabilitate them then his
errand boys began to make noise that the governor has to obtain permission from
Obasanjo before he can rescue the people of Anambra and all Ndigbo users of the
roads. This man Obasanjo behaves as if his presidency is permanent. Obasanjo has
bastardized the Nigeria military. The army that can boast of more intellectuals
now more than ever are nothing but personal instrument to institute and protect
corruption and despotism in Nigeria. (See the selection of, otherwise known as
4/19 of 20030) The army is loyal to a despotic leader than the constitution of
Nigeria. This is a shame. There is no justification for the millions of naira
being wasted on their training in USA, Britain, Germany, India and many other
advanced countries, only to come back to protect corruption, despotism and
nepotism. The army, like the police, is a ready tool to settle the president's
personal score, be it with individuals or community. Chris Uba has enough money
to destabilize Anambra state, but he could not deploy such money to revitalize
Oji powerhouse and build industries to employ Igbo children. Mr. Emeka Offor has
enough money to destabilize Anambra state but Oji powerhouse lay waste and out
of service. These men and their relatives are good example of anti-Igbo and
Igbo interests. Mr. Obasanjo is very good in discovering Igbo traitors. As soon
as he discovers them, he empowers them to work, which it's main destination is
to sabotage and make Ndigbo ungovernable. Chris Uba and Emeka Offor through
Mr. Obasanjo are destroying Igbo land, while their counter parts in the other
geopolitical zones are very busy establishing private universities and
industries creating academic legacies and opportunities for their children. What
ever goes up must come down. For Chris Uba and Emeka Offor, it is high time
Obasanjo dropped these zeros and discovers the heros, General Chukwuemeka
Odumegwu Ojukwu, Mr. Chekwas Okorie, and many others. One more thing, Atiku
Abubakar wants to be president of Nigeria in the year 2007. Funny. The same
Atiku who said that he single handedly stopped Dr. Alex Ekwueme from becoming
president in 1999. According to him, when it became apparent that Dr. Ekwueme
was to win the nomination of the PDP, He rallied round the northern governors to
scuttle Dr. Ekwueme’s nomination bid. The same Atiku who boasted that the
north determines the future of Nigeria, by extension, when the north sneezes,
the rest of the country catches cold. The north has sneezed for 34 years and the
rest of the country not only caught cold, but have inherited very bleak future.
Atiku’s presidency will continue to remind Nigerians of Mr. Obasanjo’s
endless nightmare. I think the prayer of every average Nigerian is to see
Obasanjo’s administration dump into dust bin of history after 2007.How can
Nigerians continue to think of Obasanjo through Atiku after 2007. He is part of
Obasanjo, thinks Obasanjo, walks Obasanjo, talks Obasanjo, and if he is
different, should have resigned from despotic leadership, anti-people leadership
and above all, leadership that killed and maim oppositions and political
opponents. Leadership that has corrupted all Nigeria’s institutions,
leadership that believes in divide and rule, leadership that believes in
destruction and desecration of Igbo land and democracy. A leadership bereft of
ideas and solutions, instead, institutionalize ethnic imperialistic economic
empire. As for Babangida, it will be an unprecedented height of criminal
indifference to think of him becoming a Nigerian president again, a man who
democratized corruption in Nigeria, a man who invented 419 that has uprooted the
Nigerian sovereignty, a man who imprisoned Ndigbo by building a gate that denied
them access to Abakpa Nike through the only road via army barracks Enugu. What
an insult and a way of reminding Ndigbo that they lost the war. That single act
was a humiliation 2nd to annulment of late chief MKO Abiola presidential victory
in June 12, 1993. So, Obasanjo, Atiku Abubakar and Babangida are the only
Nigerians entitled to be president in Nigeria. Babangida that denied Ndigbo
their right and turn to clean Nigeria of the endless mess they heaped on Nigeria
and Nigerians by denying Dr. Alex Ekwueme the presidency in 1999.He did it
knowing that Ekwueme would have rescued Nigeria and Obasanjo was surely going to
continue the mess which would clear the coast for him. I don’t think that the
Nigeria’s power structure, the military would want any intelligent and
intellectual to govern the country because the status quo would provide them the
ample opportunity to continue the corruption and continue to debase and
bastardize Nigeria so they can always have avenue to come to power to create
another crop of military millionaires by way of coup de tat. There is no doubt
that if the Nigerian power structure wants to rescue the country from total
collapse, it would bring Ndigbo to the presidency of which I am 100% sure that
an Igbo man would run a country where Nigerians will be proud to say they are
proud Nigerians, civil war or no civil. United States had civil war as well, but
today a great percentage of her presidents are from the south which shrugged it
out with the north in her civil war and lost It will be better for the power
structure to go back to the drawing board in the interest of Nigerians and
unborn Nigerians and draft an Igbo man for the president of Nigeria in 2007
rather than recycling tested , failed, old and cold blooded killers of brothers
and sisters who have developed amnesia like T.Y. Danjuma who recently acted a
typical Nigeria propagandist who when expelled from the lot goes public to
proclaim a pretense of innocence. Is that the same Danjuma who instituted
corruption and indiscipline in Nigerian army through his conduct in July 29,
1966? The same Dajuma who out of cowardice refused to be the head of state in
February of 1976 at the assassination of Gen. Muritala Mohammed. The same
Dajuma known to be the head of Obasanjo’s cultists who have prior to
Obasanjo’s ascendancy to the presidential throne opined that he would go on
exile if Obasanjo failed to be the president. If he actually believed in him
self and his so-called principle he tries to portray, why didn’t he resign? By
the way how did he become a billionaire? Perhaps he was paid for killing General
Agui-Ironsi and showed Nigerian army how to be a millionaire—institute a
coup, kill the head of state, bam! You move up the ladder and take over the
national treasury, the loot begins, but while the looting lasts, create some
cult in the military so by the time another coup comes in, you are already a
millionaire. Finally, to Mr. Terfa Ula-Lisa, Ojukwu has never tainted himself
with a secession bid. He only created a defense perimeter to protect the people
of eastern Nigeria from the extension of coup against them which was initiated
by your people, carried out by your people against innocent men, children and
pregnant women, and in effect desecrated the Nigerian army and by extension the
Nigerian unity. He created Biafra to defend eastern Nigerian people from the
murderous tendencies of your people that was very prevalent in Makurdi your
ethnic capital. As for what Ojukwu has done to purge him self of Biafra, I tell
you what he has not done, he has not done exactly what Gowon has done to your
people by subjugating your people to nothing more than extension of feudal and
oligarchic population who is more noted for preparing ground for northern
oligarchy leadership than striving to free them selves from yoke of ignorance ,
heavy womanizing and excessive abuse of hard liquor. Terfa, Biafra is a living
organism in every conscience of Igbo man and woman. It can never be purged out
of us and needs not to.

tundE, Igbo-American, could you provide a link so as to give everyone the choice of either reading your point of view or the whole text. If there is no link, then it could be one of the manipulations that we are all supposed to recognize.
