Woman, 35, raped to death … rapists took Buratashir By Alex Otudor For refusing the love advances of two men, a 35-year-old woman has lost her life. The duo had separately made love advances to the mother of two who vehemently turned down their request. Her refusal informed their resolve to rape her.
The duo procured and used sex-enhancing local herbs which they took before entrapping their victim. The 35-year-old, Miss Adetoyin was in her room at 24, Onayaina Street, Idimu, Lagos when the accused persons, Adepeya Adewole and Kehinde Adeniji broke into her room.
She was gagged and subjected to several bouts of sex until she collapsed, owing to exhaustion. According to the police, “even after the woman went into coma, the duo continued to rape her, because they initially thought she was pretending.”
However, when it dawned on them that their victim was almost lifeless, the duo escaped, leaving the woman all messed up. It was a tenant in the compound who had gone to her room to greet Adetoyin that found her lifeless.
When the police from Idimu police station arrived to convey the woman to hospital, she had died. Preliminary investigation conducted at the woman’s room by police detectives and medical examination conducted on the late Adetoyin reveal that she was brutally raped to death.
The suspects were arrested with the assistance of neighbours who identified them. Both have since confessed to committing the crime.
