I have opened a separate thread for this topic because if I add this post to the 'Ngige Abducted' thread, Ngige supporters may become confused about any reactions to the Yoruba threat to impose a state of emergency in Anambra State. Chris Ngige did not win any election in Anambra State. Therefore, it does not matter to me if he is hanged, kidnapped, or otherwise maltreated by those with whom he conspired to steal the vote from APGA.
Now, the question is what should Nd'Igbo do if Obusonjo imposes a state of emergency in Anambra State? Certainly, the imposition of a state of emergency is a development far beyond Ngige and the PDP; it is one that will require an Igbo, not an Anambra, response.

If Obasanjo and his Yoroba tribesmen have any doubts about the consequences of imposing a state of emergency in any part of Igboland, they should read this.

When will the likes of Obasanjo learn from history? Why is that everytime an IMPOSED or self-imposed Nigerian head loses control over the Nigerian ship all he does is to start causing trouble here and there?
Obasanjo/PDP must have gotten away with their DAY LIGHT ROBBERY in not only Anambra State but all of the South-East, but should Obasanjo extend that madness to impose a state of emergency in any part of Igboland, he will then know as Ojukwu has warned how unlucky he is/will become.
Good that there's the Internet and data-reservoir mediums like BNW. Because unlike in the dark ages preceding the Nigeria-Biafra war, the events of not only Anambra State but all of Nigeria are being watched around the world and DOCUMENTED, both electronically and otherwise. So should the madman in Abuja carry out his DEVILISH plan in Anambra State and the Igbos react violently (as they should), there wont be any misguided Nigerian who will go around (as they have been misrepresenting the facts as it concerns WHAT and WHO caused the 1967 - 1970 Nigerian civil war) to claim that the Igbos or Ojukwu "started" the brewing civil war.
The earlier Obasanjo and co learn to let the sleeping dog (Ojukwu, Nd'Igbo and Igbo land) lie in peace the better for all of us.

You gotta wonder when everybody especially his own native people[Yorubas] finds nothing enriching or appealing from Obasanjo, something gotta be wrong with him. A mad max gone biseck?
Most Yorubas have either labelled Obasanjo a traitor, a coward,a retard to the future of Nigeria ,a dictator, called for his resignation, and many mistfit names anyone can think off. It gotta be a way to wack the reservior dog other than name calling.
Hail Biafra

Yes, he's dumbed down the Yoruba reputation for mismanaging public enterprises, but he's not alone. Check the record of other managers at NEPA, Central Bank, Nitel, Abiola's empire after his death and after government patronage dried out or, for that matter, any other entity managed by Yoruba. Except for Richard Akinjide's brilliance among the group in question, the professional Yoruba is second rate when it comes to managing growth. This is not my say-so; the record is there if you care to browse.
You have to realize that the Yoruba business class is the primary beneficiary of olusegun obasanjo's patronage system and total mismanagement of BiafraNigeria. They're making a bundle overcharging for cellphones and other non-competitive services they're ineffiently providing. So you can't say that the Yoruba nation is angry at their shon.

Obasanjo and his crazy cronies must be dreaming to think they can impose any crap on Igbo people. Igbo people have shown Nigerians that they are the most politically matured ethnic group in Biafranigeria. Obasanjo should first impose state of emergency in warri, southwest or Arewa not Igbo land.
I'm not a supporter of Ngige 'cause I know he was never elected by the people of Anambra state but imposed on us by Obasanjo and PDP. Obviously Obusonjo is mad at the fool for not going along with him to further destroy Anambra and Igboland. Anambra belongs to APGA but as for now I will rather prefer that Ngige remains in power until the right time comes for igbo people to deal with him. This is what happens when u rig an election. Ngige will never see complete peace until he totally comes clean and hands Anambra back to APGA.

If a dumb Yoruba man like Obasanjo can be so successful in manipulating the Igbo leaders as it is being attributed to him all over this place, then there is no doubt that the best of the Igbo nation cannot stand the least of the Yoruba nation.

Bababoyz: So your "Baba" is indeed "dumb"? This is the only word of truth you have said since you joined this board. Plus one for the Nwa Aros. Wont you agree?
May be a more explanation on the characters you called "Igbo leaders" would help us understand why they are so cheap to be bought by the equally cheap Obasanjo. Birds of same feather they say flock together.
Without any fear of contradiction by any TRUE Son or daughter from Igboland, I put it to you that the likes of Nzeribe which the Yoruba press often refer to as "Igbo leader" are nothing but SABOTUERS.
The news report bellow will make you understand more what I am saying:
-------------------------------------------------- Daily Independent Online. * Monday, January 26, 2004.
Igbo group declares Nzeribe persona non grata
By Chukwudi Achife Bureau Chief, Enugu and Onyekachi Eze,Abuja
A group calling itself Igbo Conscience Assembly (IAC) has warned Senator Arthur Nzeribe that he would no longer be welcome in Igbo land until he clears his name of the allegation that he was persuading his colleagues to support the declaration of a state of emergency in Anambra State. Senator Uche Chukwumerije had last Thursday named Nzeribe as the "conspirator" who was offering senators N500,000.00 to support the plan. In a swift reaction issued on Sunday, the group remarked that the allegation was too strong to be ignored and stressed that Nzeribe must make either an open denial or an open admission followed by an apology to the Igbos. The group called on all political and ethnic groups in the country to take a cue from it and ostracise' any of their members found to be overtly or covertly working against the interest of national stability and democracy. It warned that the recent remarks by former Biafra warlord and presidential candidate of the All Peoples Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu that the imposition of a state of emergency in Anambra could lead to another civil war, should not be taken lightly, more so when it came from a man of Ojukwu's status and experience. "Chief Ojukwu has said it all, history is about to repeat itself and what people should know is that nobody could be beating a child and expect the child to remain quiet", the group warned. Describing the proponents of the state of emergency in Anambra as "enemies of democracy and Igbo haters," the group said all Igbos should feel embarrassed that one of their prominent sons who has been elected to represent their interests should be associated with such a plot. It noted that the Igbo nation had for too long and to its detriment condoned the presence of "saboteurs" in its midst and said it was time such people were openly exposed and disowned. It said, "we have had enough of these political fifth columnists and infiltrators who have continued to enrich and gratify themselves at the expense of Igbo and indeed national unity." The group described the events in Anambra as an indication that the country was being run by a cabal of unpatriotic and self-centred individuals who would stop at nothing to achieve their private objectives but remarked that they have, through the crisis, unwittingly created a launch pad for a reawakening among Nigerians to the need to crush such ill-intended alliances. Comrade Uche Chukwumerije, had last week accused the maverick politician, Senator Arthur Nzeribe, of being behind the plot to declare a state of emergency in Anambra State, saying he was convinced that the aborted motion was part of a plot to destabilise the Igbo ethnic group. "There are some people in this country who think, very, very erroneously, very, very wrongly that the re-united Igbo are a threat to the unity of Nigeria. Igbo are not. There is this phobia, who think, oh, yes, Igbo are like Germans o! We should not allow them to come together, if they come together again, they will come for a revenge. That is not true and that was the main fear that motivated this attempt to destroy the Igbo," Chukwumerije said. He warned that a declaration of a state of emergency in any part of the country could lead to a replication of the crisis in the Western Region in 1962 that led to the first military coup in 1965, which ended the nation's First Republic. The senator, who said he preferred to be addressed as a Comrade' instead of senator', stated that his love for the unity of the country and the welfare of the masses prompted him to expose the plan to move a motion for the declaration of a state of emergency in Anambra State at the Senate. "The tension in the country is very high. There has been disillusionment; there is so much disenchantment; there is more alienation all over the country. What it requires is something like tinderbox, light a match and see what is going to happen," he cautioned. He called on the Presidency to hands off the crisis in Anambra State and allow the people to resolve their problems. "If nobody is somewhere pumping money into Anambra, building emergency millionaires, there will be no money to continue financing the crisis. Let the Presidency learn to respect the rule of law," Chukwumerije counselled. He warned Anambra people to stop being parochial and shun "untamed individualism" in their pursuit of common good. --------------------------------------------------
Quote: "THE IGBO NATION HAD FOR TOO LONG AND TO ITS DETRIMAENT CONDONED THE PRESENCE OF SABOTEURS (so-called Igbo leaders you refered to)..."
So without being told, I summarize by saying that WE TRUE IGBOS KNOW OUR LEADERS; AND WE KNOW THEY NOT BUYABLE.

Fortunately everybody on this board was old enough to have witnessed what a semi literate Shuwa Arab did to the Yoruba nation. But for the accident of death the cowardly babboon now eating amala at Aso Rock would have been languishing in some prison on the fringes of the sahara. How many of us will forget the images shown on TV of this coward being roughed up by Hausa/Fulani recruits.
We saw how Odua generals begged a mere major, we saw how the aare was wasted, never mind the humiliation visited on the entire yoruba elite. If your "baba" has outgrown his cowardice he should dare Ikemba and declare his state of emergency.

Babyboyz Son of Adewusi the Police embezzler,
Not so fast, Obasanjo is still a coward, battling with his inferiority complex. Obasanjo believe on only stacking Ghana must go with naira. This time around there is no take from him and Nzeribe, and even if some takes his money, they are going to take it for nothing. You and your father and uncle OBj doesn't believe in hard work, you believe in bribing your way through life. that can only take you to some extent. It will not take you far.

Unlike there, here we tell it AS IT IS and let the heavens fall!

Please stop wasting your energy on Mullar OBJ's intention of declaration of a state of emergency in Anambra State. He is a Bloody Coward and will never try such in the BiafraNigeria of today.
At the heart of the gara-gara of this
quote:Evil Agent-RTD. Col. DA Umar
is a way of creating a diversion for his many failings and misappropiration of public funds without anything to show for it since May 29, 1999.
It is obvious to Mullar OBJ, his advisers, cronies and apologists and indeed many BiafraNigerians that 2007 is a long stretch and he may not last the distance.

The Vanguard newspaper published two brilliant interviews on Friday, April 16, featuring Lamidi Adedibu, the self-styled strong man of Ibadan politics, and his godson, Rasheed Ladoja, the Governor of Oyo State. Both men have been quarrelling over the right formula for power sharing. Adedibu's interview says it all. He does not hide the fact that he is the Baba of Ibadan politics and that he alone can determine what happens politically in Oyo state. He even swore that nobody can be Governor for two terms in Oyo State. The Adedibu interview reveals all that is wrong with Nigerian democracy. Like Uba in Anambra state, Adedibu says the matter is not even about appointments but how to loot the treasury. Hear him: "He (Ladoja) is a greedy man, he doesn't want to share a penny with anybody. Let us say it before the Almighty God, a government of a state which God gave me the opportunity to contribute as much I am telling you that I have not spent a penny out of that government...he is a greedy person."
