I start with this quote on the number one traitor to Nigeria
quote:President Obasanjo is not just a traitor, a disappointment, an embarrassment but a liar. He lied to all Nigerians including the military tyrants and to the group of the Northern mafia that bestowed upon him the leadership role in PDP and then rigged the elections to get him to be elected president of Nigeria. Obasanjo should very be ashamed of himself because he has always come in through the back door to rule Nigeria. ....K. Chima Ekeke
You can add your to the list. Nigerians need to find ways to get RID of these TRAITORS for the sake of the future generations.

Ednut: With every due respect, I wish to submit that as an Igbo what is important to me and my offspring is not the "Nigerian Traitor" but rather THE IGBO TRAITOR/s. Because I am one of those who belong in the school of thought that thinks that the only way to make Nigeria a livable place is for everyone one of us (Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, etc) to be a good example, starting from our village of origin and then upwards, and not vice-versa as your question suggests.
So to make my submission as regards to where I believe we MUST start from, I nominate T(c)hief Arthur Nzeribe as the IGBO JUDAS OF THE 21st century.
Take it or leave it, neither Igboland nor the greater Nigeria will ever move an inch towards development with the likes of Nzeribe being described as "Igbo Leader". In same breif, Nigeria will remain in the dark as long as a YORUBA TRAITOR like Obasanjo is being ascribed with the insignia of "Nigerian/Yoruba Statesman" by some ignorant and misguided Yorubas.

With all due respect, the last time I checked, Igbo land is still a part of Nigeria. A decision made by the TRAITORS of non-igbo origin affects you and I in the heartland of Igbo nation. I do agree with you that Senator Arthur Nzeribe is a traitor to both his fellow Imo State Citizens, Igbo land, and Nigeria. I wonder how he is still able to visit home with his track record both during the civil war and his present stay as the so-called 4th republic senator from Orlu.

The Oguta-born senator, representing Orlu Senatorial District,
From the Gaurdian:
quote:
Nzeribe dismisses bribery allegation From Alifa Daniel, Abuja SENATOR Arthur Nzeribe has dismissed allegations by fellow Senator Uche Chukwumerije, that he (Nzeribe) offered bribe to senators to pass a motion for the declaration of a state of emergency in Anambra State.
"No! No!! No!!! that did not take place at all... why didn't he mention their names", Nzeribe countered.
"As you know, I have been away for about one week in my constituency. I was in my constituency when the news broke and all that I know is what I read in papers. I just got in this afternoon and I studied the paper thoroughly. I came to the conclusion that I have no case to answer," Nzeribe told The Guardian yesterday.
He promised an extensive response to the allegation in a press conference in the National Assembly this morning.
Chukwumerije in his letter circulated to senators wrote: "As one waits your answers to these two questions, one can provisionally reach only one conclusion: You are motivated by personal gains to play the devil's advocate. The personal gain is money. Throughout the evening of last Wednesday, January 14, your house was as busy as a Bureau de Change. Some senators, especially from a certain opposition party, were enticed with lure of filthy lucre in exchange for support for your planned motion (for a state of emergency in Anambra State). Many other senators from other parties were also approached. However, greed predictably had its own contradictions.
"Some of your prospective associate victims considered the price tag of N500,000 too low, while you felt short-charged. You were not happy that the protagonist who lured you for the hatchet job chose himself to serve as both the treasurer and cashier, directly dispensing the bribes in your house, instead of handing over the treasure to you in advance and leaving everything to your angelic discretion!"
However, Nzeribe insisted that Chukwumerije did not accuse him of offering bribe.
Asked to expatiate on the accusation that he was a conspirator, Nzeribe asked: "who did I conspire with? Let him name them."
The Oguta-born senator, representing Orlu Senatorial District, said he was not going to react beyond stating that he had no case to answer.
He turned again to The Guardian and reiterated: "Wait until I come tomorrow. I am sure Uche (Chukwumerije) knows I will react. Uche ought to know my character, afterall I worked on the ABN (Association for Better Nigeria that was in the forefront of the cancellation of the June 12, 1993 presidential elections) matter with him on the same side."
Asked to confirm their friendship as Chukwumerije claimed on the floor of the Senate, Nzeribe retorted: "Of course, I am his friend. I have no case with him; but then with friends like that, do you need enemies?
I hope this was not a misprint by the newspaper and that Mr. Nzeribe is an Orlu Senator.

How are these people traitors to Nigeria? To my understanding, ZIK loved Nigeria more than most of his peers and proved it by giving his first set of kids Hausa and Yoroba names.
About CC, I don't even know what he did for you to include his name here. Onoh is nothing but a retired Enugu City lawyer.
Why Nwabueze?

Did you not read what Nwa Aro wrote? If you are a traitor to Igbo people, you are a traitor to Africa and to BiafraNigeria. Zik became a traitor when his people were fighting a war and he showed up in Lagos supporting the enemy.

My apologies for getting back late. I've been very very busy. To your query:
Azikiwe:
Not only was he in Lagos when mad Adekunle was bombing innocent Igbo civilians as bro Dave has pointed out, but he actually showed up in London and at a World Press conference declared that the systematic killing and genocide against the Igbo was cock-and-bull story and from there "ordered" Biafran troops to surrender. So he was willing to aid Britain who had tried to jail him in their propaganda and misinformation against the Igbo nation. His reward was that Gowon's mama-put junta appointed him the chancellor of University of Lagos since part of his angst was that Ojukwu kicked him out from a similar position at UNN.
Furthermore, my own intensive research leads me to believe that Zik also made direct contact with Biafran Officers especially those from his Onicha and peripheral enclave. Biafra was destroyed by Zik and his cronies and they have spent the past three decades trying to shift the finger of blame to Emeka Ojukwu. We'll resist it.
The Biafran supreme war commander Alex Madiebo is an Onicha man like Zik and in his book on the Biafran war he down-played the telling-off he received from Dr Akanu Ibiam(RIP) for his anti-Biafran activities. For his subversive activities JSP Nwokolo was confronted by non other than Colonel Sam Onunaka Mbakwe. He it was that led Obasanjo and co into the Igbo heart land in 1970 for filthy lucre. He has since repeated that feat in 1999. He was the man that was spoon feeding the Ota baboon in Abacha's jail. immediately after the war, he had enough solid pounds to buy an appreciable portion of Enugu a fact he is not ashamed to flaunt in his appalling account.
You will recall my high octane debate on these issues with Obi Nwakanma and Egbebelu Ugobelu at the old yahoo Igbo forum. I told them that any exoneration/pardon for Zik should be extended to Ike Omar Sandar Nwachukwu and Iwueze. I had also opined that the latter day wiser-than-the-Igbo nation loud mouths are simply following in the footsteps of the great man.
I completely agree with Prof Eni Njoku that Zik did not need to replace Prof Eyo Itta in the Eastern house since it was not his birth-right to rule all the time. Zik could never fathom another Igbo/easterner being in a more influential position than him while he was alive. He even stooped to join issues with blooming hause boy Asika who rightly told him it was his(Asika's) turn to lick the "ube". Go figure!
C.C. Onoh:
Ednut, Onoh may be a city lawyer in Elugwu but he has been actively involved in partisan politics since the 1st republic. He is a traitor becasue he ran his '83 campaign against Nwobodo with a promise to send Elugwu strangers packing. For strangers read non-wawans. "obiaru ubia yata-ana" was his popular catch-phrase and he is the author of sacking non Elugwu Igbo civil servants. Ironically he was the same guy who rigged in an awusa fulani as mayor of Elugwu, a feat that was never repeated elsewhere in BiafraNigeria. He had hoped to gain prominence as a detribalised BiafraNigerian but we all know his epitaph is "Oka-omee of Ngwo". Fast forward 1999/2003, Governor Nnagiani is sacking Igbo and hiring Yorubas for the most basic of jobs. he is following in the footsteps of the "elder".
Nwabueze:
Is supposed to be an Igbo lawyer made famous by the Lagos-Ibadan press. I can't place my finger on anything he'd done for the Igbo nation. All we know is that he jumps up every now and again to insult Ojukwu and stall any move to push ala-Igbo forward. He is a nuisance period!

Thanks for responding. I need to make time and read something “outside these Internet individual authorities” on Dr. Azikiwe. I am quite ignorant about a lot of Nigerian history that being the price of exiting the place as a teenager and of course not giving a F**K while I was younger.
As a Waawa man, I do understand were CC Onoh was coming from. Most of the Land was stolen from waawa people while non-waawans were running the affairs of the state and he just wanted to correct that. I think that Mugabi must have read Onoh’s autobiography to prepare for his current dealing with the whites in his country. Also, most of the top civil service jobs excluded qualified Waawans and that was simply not right. Onoh had to find a way to stop that and to me, he was a hero. OU, I don’t ever remember Enugu City having a Hausa as the mayor unless it was before my time or while I was already out of the place.
Some more Traitors; Abiola, Ani the former Abacha minister, bababoyz.

Ayodele: Reading from the link you provided, the above quotation clearly show why Iwuanyanwu is a TRAITOR.
That he encourages Ndigbo to invest outside Igbo land instead of asking them to repaterate their wealth back home and to plead on his "friends" from outside Igboland to come to the southeast, including his deserted Owerri to invest tells us the mindset of an average Igbo Traitor - those who drain the blood off Igboland to infuse other parts of Nigeria with enough blood (rich people).

Tijani: Great job! The Yoruba angle you just gave to this HALL OF SHAME list is what is needed to redeem the Nigerian state.
It's without doubt that what drives people like me nuts is to read and watch some "educated" but IGNORANT Yorubas and their counterperts from other parts of the country always point their fingers at the Igbo race everytime something bad happens in Nigeria as though we are the only race in Nigeria with people whose mother would have done well to have aborted than to deliver.
Truth is that any objective observer of Nigerian politics will conceed that just as good and God-fearing people are shared among Nigeria's nationalities, so are the JUDASES. So its only when the Yorubas fish out and EXPOSE the bad guys from within them and the Igbos, Edos, Hausas, etc do same will that great Nigeria of the dream of some come to fruition.
Meanwhile, for posterity sake, let the NAKEDING OF THE BAD GUYS continue.

Nwa-Aro, Yorubas have done this from time immemorial, which is why the Anambra debacle will not happen in YorubaLand for instance. I think it is the turn of our Igbo bro and sis.
