Certain persons, having been on this board for yunks, still can not recognise what Ndigbo want in their leaders.
We Ndigbo see in ZIK and Ojukwu characters which make them leaders.
Other persons that purport to this role are mostly charlatans. Such persons go outside Ndigbo for support and to be made - Minna, Abuja.
Such pretenders, being wretched and poor, can do nothing but beg. Our leader are barred by god from worshipping any man.
A poor fool like Uba can not be an Igbo leader. A man who lies down in front of a mere man, who may well be a Yoruba slave of questionable ancestry (acquired from out side YorubaLand).
An OZO title holder knows this. To go around doing what amounts to manual work for even a president of Nigeria is a sin and a disgrace.
Uba, the fact that you slept in Igbo peoples' floors and sofas in the past should not make you alienated from your race.

It is normal.

Okay, but today Igbo leaders are those elected by Ndigbo through Ohanaeze or other Igbo organizations. But we need only one organization to represent Nd'igbo. Who says Igbo elections says having a manifesto, talking to Nd'igbo, explaining why we should vote for the person.

Uba is no Igbo leader and has never pretended to be one. He is used by foreigners to destabilize ala igbo, with the benediction of an illegal regime. He should be arrested whenever he puts his legs in ala Igbo. Anybody can do the job.

The starter of this thread ask, "what is an Igbo Leader"?
To the enemies of Nd'Igbo (from within and without), one is a so-called Igbo Leader the moment;
- he/she can aquire some ill-gotten wealth and buy doctored certificate/s to convince the powers that be that he/she has "arrived".
- he/she uses same to impress on any bastard in power in Abuja as an "Igbo Leader" that can "deliver."
- believing that Igbo land is a playground, his Abuja-based master then annoint him/her as a 'godfather/godmother' of one area in the east.
- then the Yoruba press being part of the larger game-plan start singing the praises of the moron. Before you say 'Jack!', someone whose name was before then not known in his village, or if he/she is known, is for the wrong reasons suddenly become an "Igbo Leader"!
- the drama is concluded when as soon as the criminal senses that there's an up coming pre-arranged election, he/she hits the road to do his master's hatchet job.
- as soon as that is over and the 'godfather' is himself or/and his "annointed ones" are put into sensitive postions, the incoming revenue to the afffected area thereafter is then remitted to the private accounts of the 'godfather' and to that of those that sent him "from above."
Now you wonder why the Southeast is in such a miserable condition.
One consolation though: despite all these unslaught, most progressive Igbos can still make the difference between a long-lasting credible Igbo Leader/s from the Abuja-imposed withering JOBMEN.

The question now is where are they in the face of what is going on in the Capital of Ndigboland?
Agba kin wa loja ki ori omo tuntun wo. No doubt about it, ori Anambra ti wo segbe o.
As painful as this may be for me to say, considering that I was banned so many times at Egbeomo. That not withstanding, I demand you ban Bababoyz with immediate effect before he defile this huge forum.

In their capacities as visible heads of local governments, district wards, state governments, senatorial positions, ministerial positions, unions, associations whether in Igboland in particular or Nigeria as a whole, a leader is known by what he does and achieves for the people—by their fruits you shall know them.
I think most Igbos/Nigerians can tell who is NOT a leader. Surely, we cannot be so disillusioned that we do not even know what we want in the leadership!
Just like Prof. Chinua Achebe noted, much of Nigeria’s problem revolves around the lack of good leadership or the failure of the leadership that we have. Like Nwa Aro observed on countless occasions, such self-serving wolves in sheep clothing are not (and must not be misconstrued as) the real deal. No serious person needs to be told the truth on this matter.
A good mantra would read something like:
Show me what you have achieved by virtue of occupying some position in government or some other civilian organization, and I would tell you who/what you are.
This is no rocket science at all.

Bababoyz: What a funny question. Do you or anyone really believe that any true son or daughter from Igboland would lift a hand in defence of either the agbero Chris Uba or the IMPOSITOR Ngige?
Be it known that except for the likes Wabara, the Nigerian Senate president, who we know how he bought himself to his position with help from "Oga" Obasanjo, have you seen people like Ojukwu calling for truce between the two criminals? Just like the ordinary people of Anambra State who can figure out whom they voted and want to be their governor (Peter Obi of APGA), the genuine Igbo Leaders (by their fruits we know them) are simply watching and waiting to see the day either Uba will roast Ngige, or the other way around.
Bottomline: For the real Igbo Leaders and followers; its gonna be GOOD RIDDANCE TO BAD RUBBISH when one or both of your "Igbo Leaders" are buried death or alive.
