Interesting. If she is really Igbo, our Igbo Nation has a problem as this vandals have taken control of our women.

“The lady caller asked why I should criticise and abuse an anointed man of God. She said it was wrong of me being a Muslim to be quoting the Holy Bible. She said I will pay with my blood, and that members of my family will also pay with their blood.”

‘Mistress’ lands OBJ’s Aide in fresh trouble
quote:

Did Ms. Adaobi act alone or carry out the instruction of Chief Femi Fani-Kayode in making a threat call to THISDAY editor, Mr. Segun Adeniyi, penultimate Thursday?
This is the puzzle security agents will have to unravel in the days ahead.
In a piece he wrote in the January 31 edition of THISDAY, Mr. Adeniyi, editor of the Sunday title, had claimed a lady had called him two nights earlier (Thursday, January 29) and rained invectives on him over his backpage column entitled “Umar Versus Obasanjo”.
In the column, Adeniyi was critical of the manner Fani-Kayode, Senior Special Assistant (Public Affairs) to President Olusegun Obasanjo, had replied the now controversial “open letter” written by Colonel Abubakar Dangiwa Umar (rtd) to the president.
Apparently dissatisfied with Adeniyi’s comment, the lady who called on MTN 08034091519 not only labelled the THISDAY editor “homosexual bastard” but also reportedly sent a text message which read in parts: “…God will punish you for the envy you have for Mr. President and Fani-Kayode. Ask the Holy Spirit.”
How did she get Adeniyi’s GSM number? Sunday Sun findings revealed that she earlier called another senior employee of THISDAY to furnish her with the cellphone number of the Sunday editor.
To play safe, she had reportedly told the THISDAY manager that “I just wanted to commend him for the brilliant article he wrote today.”
But the THISDAY manager politely requested that the lady make her own number appear on his own screen, insisting that “I don’t take anonymous call.”
Then, the lady cut her line. When she rang again, behold her number 08034091519 appeared on the handset of the THISDAY manager.
Meanwhile, the transcripts of the communication and text messages between Adeniyi and the anonymous caller were laid bare in the article Adeniyi wrote penultimate Saturday.
But no sooner had that edition hit the street than a young lady stormed the Apapa, Lagos office of THISDAY accompanied by a prominent politician (name withheld).
Fortunately, SUNDAY SUN reporter was present as the lady caused a scene by first identifying herself as “Funke” and then admitting that she was the anonymous caller and later cursing and fuming at Adeniyi for daring “to cause trouble for me with your useless article today.”
But unknown to her, Adeniyi, through his own private investigation, had already succeeded in establishing her true identity as Miss Adaobi and not Funke as she claimed.
When confronted with these facts, she literally froze in her tracks. Apparently sensing the game was up, she started apologising profusely and further confessed that she was “a friend” to the embattled Fani-Kayode.
Apparently oblivious of the presence of Sunday Sun reporter, she begged for forgiveness, pleading that such would never happen again.
But interestingly enough, Chief Fani-Kayode has denied any relationship with the same Adaobi. In a telephone chat with Sunday Sun Friday, he said: “I don’t know what you are talking about. If any lady told you she is my friend, (you should know) ladies all over the place claim all kind of things.
“As far as I am concerned, I am not involved in all these. If you want to discuss serious national issues, we can do that any time. Certainly not this.”
But further investigations by Sunday Sun revealed that the lady who was a student of University of Lagos (UNILAG) had similarly got herself entangled in some controversies with Fani-Kayode in the past leading to the sack of a Personal Assistant (PA) to Fani-Kayode himself.
Said a fomer classmate of hers who pleaded anonymity: “She (Adaobi) is naturally a cantankerous person. If she finds out I’m the one who told you things about her, she’ll kill me…”
According to the lady, “I’m not surprised she sent those text messages (to Adeniyi) and followed it up with calls of threat. That’s her stock-in-trade. I really sympathise with her because she will soon realise the mistake she has been making. Of course, your guess is as good as mine what she was up to. That’s why she has been playing the cannon-fodder, doing the dirty jobs, as you journalists would describe it, the hatchet job.”
More drama would follow Friday when Sunday Sun number called 08034091519 to get Adaobi’s own defense. When her mobile phone first rang, she answered “hello” and the following conversation ensued:
Sunday Sun: “Good afternoon, are you Ada?”
Lady: “Yes, I’m Ada, who’s on the line?”
Sunday Sun: “My name is Patrick from Sunday Sun newspaper. I’m interested in talking to you about the allegation that you’ve been sending text messages to people and cursing them for criticising the president.
Lady: “Wait, wait, wait, I don’t understand what you’re talking about. Wait, who gave you my number?”
Sunday Sun: “Let’s talk first, I’ll tell you later. Use this as an opportunity to state your own case for a balance, you know…”
Lady: “Hold on.”
At this point, she breaks off for a few seconds and confers with someone as a male voice was heard in the back ground.
Back on the phone, she said “sorry” and cuts off the line.
A quick redial and she picks it up again.
Sunday Sun: “This is still Patrick on the line.”
Lady: “Ehen, who do you want to speak with?”
Sunday Sun: “You of course!”
Lady: “What’s my name?”
Sunday Sun: “I am not under any illusion that you are Ada, which you earlier confirmed, and it’s you I want to speak with.”
Lady: “Sorry, this is a wrong number.” And she cut the call and switched off her handset.
Interestingly, Umar Wednesday cried that a certain female caller had been stalking him on phone with death threats. Speaking with Daily Sun, our sister publication, in Kaduna, Umar said “The lady said I was in trouble for daring to bring a man of God and an anointed one to public ridicule.”
According to Umar, the lady claimed to be the leader of an organisation that will not rest until the blood of Umar and membes of his family have been spilled: “The lady caller asked why I should criticise and abuse an anointed man of God. She said it was wrong of me being a Muslim to be quoting the Holy Bible. She said I will pay with my blood, and that members of my family will also pay with their blood.”
