The US supreme Court ruled Tuesday that a law meant to punish pornographers who paddle dirty pictures to web-surfing kids is probably an unconstitutional muzzle on the free speech.

Writing for the majority was Justice Anthony M Kennedy followed by John Paul Stevens, David Souter, Ruth Ginsberg and Clearance Thomas.

Well, I am disappointed that Justice Clearance Thomas went with the majority. The real victims here are the children who are exposed to pictures of immoral type.

Please do not allow yourself to be entrapped this is beneath you. You’re among the smart ones in here so please don’t give room to negative metamorphism. Thank you.

Fumi, you cited Sandy writing for the majority and I pointed out exclusively that Justice Thomas,a legal brilliance, dissented on the majority.

By the way, no one was victorious in the ruling as you had implicitly and explicitly indicated. The ruling was about the constitutionality of GW powers to imprison without the due process of law.If I understood the supreme court correctly. The ruling did not free the terrorist moslems. They are still in their bird cages were they belong. The supreme court only stated by majority that the terrorist moslems have the right to appeal the undue detention in a court of law. No law was broken here by GW, just an interpretation of the law and the application of it.

Saddamn in court, jive walked in chain gang to the court, hand cuffed, defiant, stinky, rejects war crimes, calls Kuwaitis' dogs, referred to world's stateman, GW. Bush as the real criminal and pathologically refered to himself as the President of Iraq and will not speak anymore unless the 6th Amendment is accorded to him just like in the free world. Imagine Saddam begging for civil right, oooouch, it must hurt.

I see a former junta walking the same path with Moussoulini, the Italian..... The only difference is that his trail by..... will not be a sudden one. Great news for the Iraqis' and the new government. I guess skeptics are now wondering what else?
