I think that it is time to think very seriously about all these political alliances with the core North that only relegates the Igbo people to the second citizen in the nation (Vice Presidency)

We have witnessed this from the era of Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe. Reflecting back, did Zik make a mistake by not teaming up with Chief Awo most of the time to fight the supremacy of the North? Put simply, what are the gains of all these alliances with the North?

East should consolidate the South with the West and tap into the Middle Belt to form a formidable force against the "born to rule" people.

The West and the East should hold frank talks. The Yorubas must prove that they can be trusted. There is a generally held view that they cannot be trusted and they must do everything possible to erase this notion.

This is my view and if you have any reason, West, East and Middle Belt cannot be a formidable political force against the powerful and parasitic North, please share.

Alliance with who?. The yorubas? hmmm..... fa fa faa.. foul!. mba, E eh!. That should never happen. Once bitten twice shy. If Ndigbo cannot control their destiny then we should simply plan ahead with diligence until such a time we are able to exercise our self determination independently. Igbo world view and that of those nations you mentioned has no crossing points and therefore incompatible.
