Will the ghost of Vietnam ever leave America? Today, we have Dick Cheney, a cowardly draft dodger serving as Vice President, and George W. Bush, a convicted drunk driver and delinquent National Guardsman, as commander-in-chief, yet rather than run on their record of the past four years, Bush and Cheney are using their surrogates to launch a filthy campaign that will forever undermine the value of medals of valor and bravery awarded to the men and women who risked their lives so those cowards in the White House could run for office.
While I am not surprised that Bush deployed these lies, yes he did, Bush Snr. is a co-financier of the ads, I am personally disgusted by the lies of these cowardly veterans who have admitted that they never served anywhere on or near Kerry's boat. I cautioned that Kerry wasted valuable time that should have used to attack Bush's military service record and the record of his four years in the White House. The latest polls show that the anti-Kerry ads are affecting poll numbers in favor of Bush.
John McCain is right. The so-called "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth" are nothing but cheap liars; they are "dishonest and dishonorable." McCain should know; the same ungrateful Bush used a similar tactic to attack McCain in 2000; it worked. Will Kerry fight back hard or will he allow himself to be Dukakised back to Massachussetts?

People in this forum, please listen to Damian a good Republican and one that SERVED HONORABLY in the United States army.
If anyone should know what the lies of Bush Jr. is doing to men and women that served in the United States Army's moral Damian is that person.
A applaud him for speaking up about Bush Jr.'s lies about Kerry's military record.
My good friend Damian Kudos to you. In asnwer to your question, Kerry is a fighter and has always fought back. You can count on him to fight back against these cowards and draft dodgers. Kerry is no Dukakis and will never be so the lies will not take away from his winning the Presidential election trust me. If anything this kind of attack on Kerry's military service will backfire on Bush Jr.

I wholeheartedly agree with you that Kerry wasted needed time to whack hard at two cowards in his attempt to act as though they’re beneath him. I remember telling my wife that this guy is bungling it with his non-response. Why in the world did Mr. McCain with all his knowledge about the African type campaign style of georgie not accept the VP spot from Kerry? Folks, in my very considered opinion, what's killing Kerry as we write is his cockiness. Kerry is arrogant, well same as georgie I guess that neutralizes it. But he must take a cue from Clinton's 1992 Arkansas based "War Room."
What’s the matter with Kerry’s people, can’t they fight back and hard? I’m about had it with "Kerry is a fighter" nonsense. We did like to see him fight! I’ve paid close attention and seen these SBVT guys and my honest conclusion is one, they are shameless paid liars. Two, georgie is in the know about their operations and let no one tell me contrary because I won’t hear it.
