Folks, Gani one of the few decent man in nigeria has spoken. He has always stood for the truth. God bless him. As for Olujimi obasanjos errand boy his talk of treason against MASSOB is the ranting of an ant. These people think 2004 is year 1966, When they unleashed their rag tag army, with the help of Britain, Egypt, and the former ussr, and had a field day in Biafra.
Olujimi and his gangsters should be put on notice that any repeat of 1966 will make Iraq look like a child's play.Any mis-calculation by these bullies in power in nigeria will be felt by everyone in nigeria. The last time Biafra was the theater of war. This time around every part of the country will be engulfed. You live in freedom or die.
Gani warns Nigeria to keep hands off MASSOB

GANI WARNS NIGERIA TO KEEP HANDS OFF MASSOB
If charges are pressed against MASSOB, I will defend them. If Olujimi should make the mistake of pressing charges of treason against them, they can be sure that I will be one of the people to defend them. I don’t see any treason in what they have done so far.” -Chief Gani Fawehinmi
On the sit-at-home directive carried out on August 26 by the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Gani warned the Federal Government not to take any punitive action against the group. He stated emphatically that no power can subdue the legitimate protest of MASSOB “because they represent the genuine interest of the Igbo.” The Attorney-General and Justice Minister, Chief Akintola Olujimi (SAN) had on Thursday, described the activities of MASSOB as amounting to treason against the Nigerian State. He alleged that the group was championing a course that could lead to the break-up of the country. The minister said in Abuja that “government cannot sit back and watch any movement or organisation do anything that would jeopardise the unity of this country. What MASSOB is doing amounts to treason and they have to be stopped.” MASSOB had on August 26, mobilised Igbo traders, artisans and commercial vehicle drivers to close shop in solidarity with the call for a sovereign state for the tribe. The action crippled commercial activities especially in the South-East and other parts of the country where Igbo dominate commerce. Gani advised that “Nigerians and Nigerian Government should forget the civil war of 1967-70 and accommodate the Igbo in the political system of the country. They are being treated at the moment like lepers and I’m not happy with that type of treatment. That is not good for national cohesion and national unity.
“They are being made to play the second fiddle. The IBB administration used them through Idika Kalu and Chu Okongwu in respect of the Structural Adjustment Programme (SAP) when Olu Falae was the Secretary to Government. Now, Obasanjo is using them through Okonjo-Iweala and Charles Soludo for his various economic reforms, what I call National Economic Enslavement and Dehumanisation Strategy. “They always reach out to the Igbo whenever they want to use them. But when the Igbo want to assert their rightful place in political leadership, they will treat them like second class citizens. That is not good for the political unity of this country. I don’t like the way the Igbo are being treated in the political scheme in this country.
“MASSOB is merely reacting to the political injustices that the Igbo are encountering. To allay their fears is not by declaring MASSOB an illegal organisation or threatening them. That is not the best approach. Something leads to another. Olujimi’s approach is wrong and he is adding fuel to the crisis. They should call for dialogue with MASSOB instead of issuing threats and blackmailing them. Blackmail and threat will not solve the problem. “I don’t know what MASSOB is doing that other militia groups are not doing in other parts of the country. I don’t see any reason why iron fist should be used against MASSOB. They leave other militia groups to operate, but rolling the tanks against MASSOB. I condemn such approach by the Federal Government where MASSOB is being discriminated against. Government should look at the grievances of Igbo which MASSOB represents, and that is assimilation. They should be assimilated to the political leadership of this country. I don’t see any reason why Igbo should always play second fiddle.
“If Yoruba, Hausa and Fulani can come up to the leadership of the country, why not the Igbo as well? Everybody should be given an opportunity. Leadership should be by competence and ability and not by tribe or ethnicity. I condemn what Olujimi has done, I don’t think it will auger well for peace, order and good governance. MASSOB is expressing the genuine feelings of the Igbo all over Nigeria. “If charges are pressed against MASSOB, I will defend them. If Olujimi should make the mistake of pressing charges of treason against them, they can be sure that I will be one of the people to defend them. I don’t see any treason in what they have done so far.”

MASSOB a non-violent movement according to the unintelligent yoroba government (obasanjo and his Attorney General) is a "terrorist" organization.
While Wunmi Akintide another yoroba who swims in their hate filled and diseased waters sees the Chechnyans terrorists who kill and maim innocent women and children as “freedom fighters.”
And you tell me some is not genetically wrong with this thieving tribe known as yoroba? And thus goes an Igbo saying, "Agwo aha gi imu ihe yiri agwo" - A serpent would never give birth to something other than a serpent. A yoroba whose origin has been traced to a runaway village thief from bini will always betray and remain stupid! How can the yoroba view something that's non-violent as dangerous whereas they see a dangerous group as Jesus disciples if not for their inherent wickedness, treachery and intellectual deprivation?
We don't need to go too far to figure. Not long ago I lured by extending an olive branch to addy, a yoroba in the hopes of reading his views on the one-sided and wicked government of his uncle. Of course not much could be expected from someone who lacks the basic appreciation for the positive contributions of my Igbo/BIAFRAN people. Instead of maintaining the peace overture, he reverted to their usual brick lobbing while hiding. I challenge any member of this board to link me to any article of addy where he condemned in the strongest of terms the evils of his yoroba folks against the Igbo and I would render a full-page apology to addy and his boys with a $50.00 donation to the provider of the link.
