The people of nigeria and especially the so-called minorities will never get it as they seem to fall for the same stupid tricks the arab jihadists of nigeria have over used. Despite the revelation of how their hero, adaka boro was murdered by nigerian troops; despite the murder of saro wiwa whose help they benefited from during the war, they're about to be lured to support an islamist again and again. How many times will the arab/fulani lie and deceive these folks before they put one and one together to arrive at two and not nineteen? They better drop the premature excitement and pause to take stock of their previous blunders before out of exuberance they commit their lives to those that care much, much less about them. Are these not the same wicked liars that have thrown monkey wrench to fight the control of the same resources by the owners/Eastern Regioners up till now, DUH?

Here we hace a real comic pronouncement by the commissioner of police, only to be found in a real kai-kai republic;
Akunyili: Police file missing, IPO dead

– CP

MALACHY UZENDU, Abuja

POLICE yesterday disclosed that the case file on the 2001 attack on the official residence of the Director-General, National Agency for Food, Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Dr. (Mrs.) Dora Akunyili was missing.

Commissioner of Police Federal Operations, Mr. Lawrence Alobi, stated this while giving evidence before an Abuja High Court presided over by Justice Ishaq Bello.

Mr. Alobi, who gave evidence at the trial of suspects in the December 26, 2003 attempted murder of the NAFDAC boss, stated that he had personally searched for the case file, to no avail.

Special Assistant to Dr. Akunyili Mr. Emmanuel Ugwumba had earlier during cross examination, stated that he had reported the 2001 attack to Mr. Alobi where he informed the police chief that Marcel Nnakwe and his son, Nnamdi, who are prime suspects in the current attempted murder case, were also fingered on the 2001 incident.

Mr. Alobi, on his evidence confirmed that Mr. Ugwumba reported the matter to him at his Police Cantonment residence in Area 11, Abuja.

The Police boss stated that he not only went to the Wuse II, Abuja, residence of Dr. Akunyili where he confirmed the attack, but that he ordered Police Superintendent, Wole Davis, to carry out the preliminary investigation before handing over the case to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

"My lord Mr. Ugwumba reported the case to me and I personally went and saw that the NAFDAC director-general’s residence was turned upside down by the hoodlums.

"I asked Mr. Davis to handle the case, before the matter moved over to the CID because it is their duty to handle matters relating to homicide.

"The problem is that Mr. Davis had died and I have searched all the relevant places to trace the case file to no avail. What I can tell you, my lord, is that the matter was reported to me, but I don’t know how far the investigation went," Mr. Alobi said.

Under cross-examination by Messrs. Patrick Ikwueto, Clement Onwuenwunor; Kelvin Emeka Okoro and Max Ogar, counsel to the seven accused persons, Mr. Alobi said he would not confirm the whereabouts of the police diary at Wuse police division where the matter was first handled.

Meanwhile, further hearing on the matter has been adjourned to next Tuesday.

Police Arrest 3 over Kogi Disturbance From Yinka Kolawole in Lokoja with agency report, 05.31.2005. Thisdayonline

No fewer than three persons were arrested yesterday in connection with last Monday’s disruption of Democracy Day rally in Kogi State. According to the state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ambrose Igbokwe, the three suspects were arrested in Lokoja with dangerous weapons...

I guess Anambra state in that bushman’s (obasanjo) lexicon is not considered a part of the rubbish he calls nigeria. Despite what happened there nine or so months ago, the conscienceless thief did not see it fit to address the rascality that occurred in that state but the minor skirmish that is only hours old is drawing all the support of their law(less) enforcement apparatus. Is what uba and his marauding gang of efulefus did in Anambra not fit to warrant the arrest of the perpetrators of that calamity? One nigerians please help me out with an answer that makes sense. Thank you.

To this cheap crook what is ‘constitutional’ is the N13 billion he stole from the people. In that comic nation’s constitution, it is very acceptable to steal folks blind yet illegal to bring the thief (balogun) to book. It is comical when a world class thief tells the world that the outfit (EFCC) established to checkmate his abuse of authority is unconstitutional. What he would rather want is a free reign to desecrate the same constitution he seeks for protection today.

I ask your understanding to pardon my bringing this here. It's a response to the nonsense the junior awusa boy, daud wrote on that post "Dämonen mit denselben Federn............." by alichemical, the nazi boy where I do not wish to participate so bear with me.

quote:
It is quite revealing to know that when the so-called Biafrans get in trouble, they run to the webmaster and get their opponents banned. So it was with the banning of Alchemist, who conquered MeBiafran and his gang.

Now, any non-Igbo/non-Biafran on this board has to debate with hands tied behind the back to compensate for the weaknesses of the Biafrans. If this is Biafran democracy, it is worse that what we have now in Nigeria. – junior awusa boy, daud.

Biafra wrote;

Daud
Alichemical

was not debate he was making a mockery of this Board. Nobody have banned you even with all your anti Biafra sentiment.

Thank you, brother Biafra. It is so easy to separate a piece by a great mind from the obscure ones.

To accuse this Igbo IKENGA of being “conquered” by a wayward nazi boy is akin to saying that the peoples’ General, Elder Phillip Effiong surrendered our Biafra to the awusas. He did not he surrendered THIS COUNTRY (which?), said he. The whole idea behind a debate is for one to learn something new that might guide his future reasoning. And when a german nazi boy refuse to tow this line to at the minimum tell the readers the area he has issues and why instead resort to throwing blank insults at every one who dare ask him question, the proper thing then is to surgically expunge his tail. Constructive exchange of ideas is something that will benefit people to improve upon their knowledge. With the nazi boy it makes no difference what one’s opinion is, he always choose to insult even when it’s absolutely uncalled for. What was his and daud’s take on the lynching of the Igbo motorist in Lagos? More insults. Is that what a debate is about? Another instance was the thread to share how proud I was of the young Yoruba footballer who did not waste time to admonish the American press who continued to mispronounce his last name after many corrections. It again drew a very negative response from that german pick-pocket despite its obvious intentions. Debating?

To the awusa people, something is undemocratic when a balance is attained or maintained while their lopsided demonstration of governance is democratic. Freedom of speech to a tiv boy like daud is when the collective identities of Ndigbo is insulted, but say nothing about how they ruined nigeria. Freedom of expression usually sails out the window whenever they loose the upper hand they got through undemocratic action. Very laughable. There is no one with his/her faculties still intact that would argue against the level of tolerance operators of BNW exhibit. If what the little liar, daud spewed is close to being true, some foreign (non-Igbo) sounding names/handles or views wouldn’t be allowed here starting with the awusa name, daud. It is so easy to pick a lie from a mile as daud’s unfair attributes to the Moderator of this site shows. daud how come you have not been banned if they’re discriminating against foreigners? Your gay lover, alichemical to every reasonable mind is/was a great distraction whom one couldn’t learn nada from. Alright? BNW is not a motor-park and if your claim that he has been dumped is true, then I say, GOOD RIDDANCE!!!

The nazi german “conquered” me by pleading; “in future, continue to ignore my postings and DO NOT reply to any of my postings.” This sounds like a cry to me, I don’t know about you, tiv boy.

And for the information of the little awusa, daud, his mentor in an attempt to sway me to his side sent a warming PM to me. He begged me to be careful, to quit writing certain things and I replied lightly. Go ask him, you have his phone number.

quote:
Hopefully this time around you'll stick to your decision, and quit writing BS in reply to my posts.- alichemical posted June 03, 2005 08:46 PM Topic: BiafraNigeria will collapse in 15 years; US Intelligence

Mebiafran, I think I had strongly advised you to continue to ignore me and my postings? – alichemical posted May 20, 2005 04:56 PM Topic: A Joke on OBJ's Anti-Corruption War in BiafraNigeria.

..in future, continue to ignore my postings and DO NOT reply to any of my postings. – alichemical posted June 09, 2005 11:39 PM Topic: Now a Yoroba we can be proud of.

I’ve given the tiv boy, daud a few quotes where his gay partner “conquered” me and my “gang” by practically begging me to leave him the hell alone. (lol).

Crazy Duke,

It's indeed generous of you to answer for Daud. I take it you have similar views on the issues.

As for Alchemist, I seem to remember at least a two-day pause in his posting a few weeks ago, so common sense may take at least that long to reveal what you are saying.

Crazy Duke, check this out, I believe that you're a wimp. Prove me wrong and let's have it. You're among those who have abused the policy by the blatant use of multiple handles here. Are you so scared of addressing me with your real handle? I think so! "Blastering me." Hmmm, this is news to me. The record is there for we know who did the blazing. If crazy duke is not a sleepy one-liner non-contributor, he would have known that it is not beyond the little german fool, alichemical to go underground only to resurface with a new handle after his old one is incinerated by my fiery keyboard. This makes it the more important for people to stick with one handle so that all their stupid views could be traced. I hope this answered you, daud?

Police arrest 11 motorcyclists for booing Oyinlola Tunde Odesola, Osogbo

The Osun State Police Command has arrested 11 personsfor allegedly booing the state Governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, in Ede-North Local Government, during his visit to inaugurate some projects last Tuesday.

Our correspondent gathered on Thursday that each of the suspects, who are motorcyclists, was arrested along with his motorcycle, and are being detained at the state police headquarters in Osogbo.

Oyinlola was in Ede to inaugurate the projects executed by the Chairman of the local government, Mr. Tejuade Adisa, when the incident occurred, last Tuesday.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Osun State Police Command, Mr. Joshua Olayemi, said investigations were ongoing to determine the motive of the suspects. REALLY???

He said the command was prepared to stamp out lawlessness and violence in the state, adding that police would not allow the peace and stability of the state to be breached.

The incident, which has been the talk-of-the-town, had attracted mixed reactions among the people of the community, with some people, who chose to be anonymous, describing the action of the police unnecessary and overzealous. - The Punch, Friday, June 17, 2005

RIDICULOUS!!!!!

You quoted thus:

How about free speech!??? or don't the idiotic police know the laws of the land. So now, the police think free speech is lawlessness? What a ridiculous scenario this is. It clearly shows that democracy in Nigeria is just a dog and pony show.

Greg, have you not asked yourself why the title of this thread? Topic: COMIC PRONOUNCEMENTS: Only in a Kai-Kai Republic. “Kai-kai, ekpeteshi, Aka mere or push-me-I-push-you” for those of you who don’t know is a local gin, the crude form of gin made by local peasants is what nigeria is, a crude and shameless land.

I too read and appreciate the contributions of Mazi Chuks Iloegbunam to the Igbo struggle, but his defense of the little crook, orji kalu went overboard. I was one among many who took it heavily. It was a harrowing experience for me to have encountered such blanket defense by him without actually carrying out a detailed investigation to see if things are as rosy as orji and company would prefer. Any need repeating that Mazi Iloegbunam ought to know that even if there is no financial remuneration to him at this time for his works in behalf of his people, his children and childrens’ children may gain in the future from his unwavering expose of all the negative vibes on his people by great many Hausa/Fulani and some misguided Yoruba elements. Sir! If you allow your well-earned reputation as a core Igbo warrior to be stained, you did live to regret it.

Part of the benefits of our "nascent" journalism is the daily inflow of letters that capture every emotion under the sun. Sometimes we are celebrated; at other times we are denigrated. That is harmony. Please read three of letters recently received.

NDLEA and Onitsha traders

Dear Chuks,

As a regular reader of the Vanguard, I congratulate you and Chief Pini Jason for the way you are protecting Igbo interest, and making the powers-that-be know of the injustices meted to our people throughout Nigeria. I also wish to draw your attention to what people at the NDLEA (National Drug Law Enforcement Agency) are doing to our traders. You may wish to investigate my representation.

The NDLEA people are now in the habit of extorting money from Igbo traders who receive shipping and other documents through the DHL courier service at Trans-Amadi Road in Port Harcourt. What they do is that any shipping document that arrives Port Harcourt for onward transfer to its destination – say Aba, Nnewi or Onitsha – is withheld at the Port Harcourt DHL office.

The owner of the document is invited to Port Harcourt to meet with NDLEA officials, with scant regard given to the distance and time wasted by honouring such an invitation.

Why should people who reside around Onitsha travel to Port Harcourt when the NDLEA has a zonal office in Onitsha? Upon arrival in Port Harcourt, the NDLEA people will ask such nonsensical questions as why you import goods from Asia. Then they will demand financial gratification. If you don’t cooperate, you will be asked to leave pending their investigation of the consignment you imported. They do this knowing that, without your shipping documents, you cannot clear your goods which will be accruing demurrage. Thus you are compelled to part with nothing less than N5000. Please help us investigate and report this complaint so that the authorities will know what is going on. You are about the only medium we have for airing our grievances.

Thank you.

S. E. Nwosu, Onitsha

Help, our people are dying

Dear Sir,

You have been doing a nice job especially as it concerns our people. For sometime now MASSOB (Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra) people are being arrested all over the country. Many are languishing in detention. What are Ndigbo doing about this injustice? What is your personal effort to end it? The most powerful woman in the Federal government is Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Finance Minister. Why not arrange a meeting with her and the leaders of Ohanaeze Ndigbo? The Finance Minister has to speak to President Obasanjo. The man does not like us. He is responsible for the woes of MASSOB members.

You should convince Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala that she is not in the government for her benefit alone. Rather, she is representing Ndigbo. She should do something about her people that are being degraded. After all, nothing is happening to members of the OPC (Odua Peoples Congress), and yet they carry guns. If the President refuses to put a stop to this wickedness against MASSOB, Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala should tender her resignation from the cabinet. It saddens me to read about the indiscriminate arrest of our brothers and sisters. Please help for our people are dying in prison,

Ifeanyi Uzuegbu, Sapele

No amenities in Abia

Dear Mr. Iloegbunam,

I read your column regularly but must express disappointment on the one entitled, In defence of Orji Kalu (Vanguard June 28, 2005). The article exposes you as someone never at home with the issues you discuss. I expect a good opinion writer like you to always investigate your topics before presenting them as sacred facts. If you investigated the issue you treated, you wouldn’t have written in defence of my state governor. Keep politics aside and face reality!

You claimed that Orji has provided succour to the people through the provision of social amenities. Where are these social amenities? I know that you will quickly mention roads. If so, I advise you to visit Aba and see the roads that Orji Kalu provided.

If you had gone through the Vanguard of June 28, 2005, you would have read of the cry of Aba residents who were displaced by flood. That should have opened your eyes to the type of roads Orji has provided. Have you ever heard about the Ngwa Road bridge which was constructed by the Orji Kalu administration? It lasted for six months. I advise you to see your column as a veritable instrument for fighting on the side of the masses. Don’t be financially gratified to the detriment of your social responsibility as a journalist. I am from Abia State and I run a community newspaper that goes into rural areas to report events concerning all the rejected places. My investigations show that Governor Orji Uzor Kalu is simply playing politics with the lives of Abia people.

Thank you.
Onuoha Kalu Emeaba,
Publisher/ Editor-in-Chief
The Nigerian Post Newspaper, Aba.

MeBiafran,

Until Ndi Igbo find an effective way to deal with traitors and sell-outs(efulefus), their presence in their Nigerian masters' government will continue to send the wrong message to the world, that Igbo people are represented well in Nigeria, and that all is well. These token Igbos are put in government positions as feints, and sleights of hand, smoking mirrors for Obasanjo to draw attention to, to show the world that he is not anti-Igbo, all the while practicing his devilry against the mass of Igbo people. One would think people like Kalu and Okonjo-Iweala would recognize and understand this, and resign in protest, but no, they are content to get fat from eating the blood of their oppressed brothers and sisters. They must be exposed as the collaborators that they are, and be ostracized from the Igbo community. We must make their ilk fear to be a part of Nigeria's Igbo killing machine. It can be done. It's better to have no Igbos in government positions if all they can do help Nigeria lie about the way Igbo people are treated. These folks are traitors pure and simple, and until we have power and authority in our own house, there is no hope of combatting the enemy.

Another comical situation is about to unfold in that aka mere/ local gin society.
quote:
Reps okay motion to ban Bakassi, OPC, others

ABUJA— THE House of Representatives, yesterday, asked the executive arm of government to proscribe all vigilance groups in the country with a view to averting extra judicial killings by such groups... - Vanguard online, Friday, August 12, 2005.

Folks, this is just a rouse don’t be fooled. All these six plus years OPC and Arewa has been operational with no law insight and now the sleepy house members suddenly woke up from their sluggish slumber to checkmate the resuscitated dreaded Igbo outfit, Bakassi Boys that was responsible for injecting sanity back into our community. What a sorry a.s.s. country they call nigeria!

What in the world is center for petroleum anything doing in any part of that arid no land, kaduna? Does it not make better sense to have things to do with petroleum located where the damn thing is found in the first place? Could the islamists and their errand boys in the house explain this away in their usual gibberish?

quote:
PTDF to Refurbish Centre for Petroleum Studies, Kaduna From Onyebuchi Ezigbo in Abuja, 08.14.2005

Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) over the weekend has that it taken over the refurbishment of the abandoned Centre for Petroleum Studies (CPS), Kaduna under a partnership deal with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). This ia aimed at turning the institute into a major training centre of international standard for perfecting the skills of technical staff of the country's oil and gas industry. WHAT A NONSENSE!!!

Speaking after inspecting the facilities at the centre, the Executive Secretary of PTDF, Alhaji Hussein Jalo, said the Fund intends to commence immediate rehabilitation of the training centre as soon as modalities for the cooperation with NNPC on the project are finalized.

Established in 1995,CPS, Kaduna, was meant to serve as a specialist training centre for the staff of the NNPC, helping to improve the knowledge and skills of the workers, especially those engaged in technical aspect of the oil industry operations. Jalo who regretted the apparent lack of development at the centre, said the country's present aspiration in the area of improving local content, can only be made possible if specialist centres like CPS are encourage to produce quality engineering personnel in the petroleum related discipline...
