The 20 would be the most frequently nominated. Please give reasons for the nominations . The "winner" would be announced on the 30th of December 2004 and would also appear in a full page advert with a BiafraNigerian daily.

The two main culprits are Chris Ngige and Chris Uba. Both must jointly share the dishonour as leaders of the hall of shame.
Ekwueme has belatedly started to speak out. Still, he wasted valuable time keeping silent. Heaven knows what Emeka Anyaoku is gaining keeping quiet. Both these men should be inducted to the minor hall of shame. I have no doubt that their more forceful intervention can save lives but to equate them with the Chris Uba and Chris Ngige is a bit unfair.
We should not forget to acknowledge the leadership of Achebe and Ezeife.

I think there should be only ten names the first year. The names should not only be published in a BiafraNigerian daily, a space and link should be made for those names at BNW.
My candidates are:
1) Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, for embezzling funds for road construction projects, rigging elections in Igboland for Obasanjo.
2) Theophilus Nwabara, for colluding with Obasanjo and Justice Egbe Egbo Egbo to deny Abia people the right to have the Senator they voted for.
3) Chris Ubah, for seeking to empower illiterate thuggery in Igboland and for using electoral fraud to deny Anambra people the right to have the governor they voted for.
4) Chris Ngige, for colluding with Chris Ubah in (3) above.
5) Igbo members of SSS and the BiafraNigerian Gestapo (Police, MOPOL, other armed forces) who engage in any anti-Igbo activities, especially the harassment, torture, unlawful imprisonment, or murder of Igbo citizens.
I will contribute generously toward this project.
There should be a very clear statement of the reason for inducting any Igbo person into the Hall of Shame and the reason should be published as part of the induction announcement.

I use this opportunity to ask non-Igbos to desist from provocation to avoid violating Administrators rules with regards to deliberate distraction of a thread.
I say this bearing in mind that possessing a generic sounding handle name would not spare non Igbos from direct and random retribution for provocations.
I also say it as a reminder for those who in the future would (with feigned innocence) wonder why X-bashing(fill in the blanks) may appear to occur on this board
If you desire to insult Igbo icons it may be better to open your own thread titled "Nominations for induction into X (fill in the blanks, non Igbo) hall of shame 2004!

Brother Ukaobasi I agree with you completely. To further your statement also, we don't need those whose Igbo identity is still in question like EDnut, to desist from participating in this nomination.
My brother well said as always. It is nice to see that oneone else is picking up on my preaching to the members of this forum to keep to the thread's intended purpose.
So all, please see to it that you keep to the thread if for some reason the thread doea not address your intended discussion, by all means open a thread.
Take the example of the thread "US Court Convict......" That thread has been hijacked to discuss sending money home, wakekeepings etc when threads could have been open for such topics if need be.

1. MEBIAFRAN – I have just discovered he is a 419 specialist based in South Africa while pretending to be living in Yankee. (A can of worm is about to be opened)
2. BIAFRA – For bearing a name that in the first place has no meaning, and also a name that reminds many of their lost loved ones
3. RALPH UWAZURIKE – For extra marital affairs with the former “Iron” Lady”
I guess you did not read the appeal made by brother Ukaobasi before you made your post or are you delibrately thumb your nose on such gentlemanly gesture?

Thank you. I have promised addy and Anaedo to do my best to avoid childish junk so be my guest. But for you info, Chiboy, NwaBiafra, Nwa Aro and Biafra all know that I am a happy resident of "ChiTown." Regarding 419, a Yoruba fella introduced it to your country so deal with it. I hope I did not insult you? Say hello to addy.

You need not respond to such utterances from babyboyz. People that should know already know that you live in the United States as a great citizen of this country.
If babyboyz had bothered to read all your postings he would have discovered that you spoke about all the political campaigns you did for Obama and letters that you wrote to Kerry's people. Such postings would have answered babyboyz's question.
My brother ignore future comments of such nature from babyboyz in the future. Who cares what bababoyz has to say about your residency, I and others know, that's all that matters.

1) The entire ibo-military killers of the January 1966 coup (Patrick Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu, E. A. Ifeajuna, Emmanuel Nwobosi, Tim Onwatuegwu, Christian Anuforo, Humphrey Chukwuka (Chukuka), D. O. Okafor and many others), for the failure of not finishing what they started; for the assassination of the then Prime Minister of Nigeria Abubakar Tafawa Balewa and his wife; for assassinating Brigadier A. Ademulegun and murdering Ademulegun's seven months pregnant wife ripping her body and the unborn baby with bullets; for creating the impression that the coup was ibo-led and ibo in gerneral, and thereby stirring up hatred against ibos which resulted in the pogroms of 1966/67.
2) Patrick Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu, for murdering civilians at the Premier's lodge in Kaduna; for assassinating the Sardauna of Sokoto, Ahmadu Bello and his senior wife; for assassinating Col. R.Shodeinde and seriously wounding his wife thus creating hatred against the ibos.
3) J. T. U Aguiyi-Ironsi, for failing to calm the northerners (e.g. by not properly issuing out justice on the arrested coup-plotters and by refusing to court-martial the conspirators), thus creating the impression and revealing the ibo agenda that the January 1966 coup was indeed ibo.
4) Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, for having egoistic selfish money-inspired ambitions about being the leader of a new souvereign nation; for by-passing the United Nation's mandate and for dragging the war for 31 months even though it was clear that victory for Biafra was unachievable, thus inflicting unimaginable suffering and torture upon the people of the former Eastern Nigerian Region in general and upon the Ibos in particular.
5) The government of the defunct Biafran republic, for being indifferent, cold and merciless towards their own people, thus causing the death of over one million people through war, starvation, sickness, mutilation, rape and torture, and for setting up a kangaroo court in September 1967 sentencing Brigadier Victor Banjo, Lt. Col. Emmanuel Ifeajuna, Major Sam Agbamuche (Agbam) and Major Phillip Alale to death, accusing the men of sabotage and treason (they were accused of deserting the Midwest capital (Benin City), whereas Ojukwu himself deserted the Biafran capital (Enugu) when Nigerian soldiers attacked it in October 1967).

I don`t really know if the nomination of the inglorious igbos to the hall of shame should exactly be open here for awusa and yoloba boys to come and insult their grand fathers. We know all our people who mainly for financial gains have pitched their tents with the enemy in order to facilitate the destruction of their own people and subregion in Nigeria.I think we all know them all. Those people whose greed have set us back and are still setting us back even as i write.
I donot subscribe to people calling members of one association or members on this forum or established Igbo leaders they do not approve of because they have established their Igboness in Nigeria or this forum. Thus making the nominations rather a thing of cheap vendetta or an unserious exercise to say the least.I would Participate anytime in a nomination exercise that shields out igbo haters who would want to take advantage of this free forum to make a fool of themselves .

Count me in as one of those who support the idea of moving this topic to an area that will prevent non-Igbo from contribute to this thread.
These Igbo haters have been asked nicely by brother Ukaobasi and I to desist from participating in this thread but all has been in vain. So the only thing left to do is move this topic or find a way to prevent them from participation or outright deletion of their posts.
Webmaster, please we need your help, inspite of the free Speech arguement the will come up you really to have privacy in this discussion.

I respect your wishes as the initator of this thread, however, the idea of letting non Igbos like bababoyz nominate an Igbo person is dangerous.
When you let the yoruba boys in this forum with 10 or more handles in this forum to nominate someone you are opening a can of worm that will come back to bite you.
Say for example that these boys all nominate Ikemba Nnewi General Ojukwu and he happens to have most votes in this thread, are you really going to publish General Ojukwu's name in the BiafraNigerian's Newpapers? I doubt it, what it does to your credibility when you fail to do so will be a lasting bad impact.
Just a friendly suggestion that you request the Webmaster to do what I suggested above. I can see it coming ... Wacko refuses to publish Ojukwu's name after he garnered the most nominatio....
My friend this is my two cent.

I have been passive since you initiated this very interesting topic but now that I read; "Say for example that these boys all nominate Ikemba Nnewi General Ojukwu and he happens to have most votes in this thread, are you really going to publish General Ojukwu's name in the BiafraNigerian's Newpapers?" by our brother NwaBiafra, I see the abundance of wisdom in his counsel. Please take it. BTW, is Wacko Nwa nne, Nwa afo? Just asking no insults intended before all hell breaks loose.

At the top of this thread, you can find this link: Igbo Forum. Why don't you people take your Igbo nominations over there and leave us alone?

Maybe we should but when we do so it will not be because you suggested it. We will do it in our own terms. In the meantime, please stay away from this thread and make no nomination.
