If one of these indoctrinated biafran activists should ever be in a position with political power, then may God have mercy on all of us!

Better the devil you know than the biafranists you don't know!

How easy it is to claim Igbo (you wish) then ask a bonafide this useless question? Sorry, I digressed. To answer the thread, NO! I won't accept any appointment under aremu.

Biafra,
GET THIS INTO YOUR BIAFRAN HEAD:

Just because someone is completely against biafran reactualization, doesn't mean that he's either a non-igbo or playing in Obasanjo's team.

Nwa-Afor, it might interest you to know that there are millions of igbos worldwide who reject BOTH the biafran mumbo-jumbo and the nigerian Obasanjo illiterate rubbish.

Meanwhile, Biafra, are you the BNW Administrator?

Please don't act as if you didn't read me. I take offence to your attitude towards my answer. Here it is again. HE'S NOT! I TOO AM NOT!! The heaps of unanswered questions by you are still there for anyone to see. Visit "What is the literal meaning of Benin" there they abound.

But if he is, what difference does it make? It is so presumptuous of you to want to know who the Web Chief is. I suggest you hire a PI.

A tale of two choppers

Samuel Afolabi, former interior minister, died while still on bail for fraud.
Bola Ige was the minister of justice when he was killed. No one has been convicted. The suspected political mastermind of his murder was made a senator while still on remand. Omisore is still serving his yoruba constituency in the senate.

Afolabi and Ige, before their tragic deaths, had a public dialogue on the notion of serving Nigeria. Afolabi was more honest. He famously told Ige that he (Ige) had been invited to 'chop' in government. Ige protested, insisting he was going to serve rather than chop. Ige plunged Afenifere in crisis and off he went to serve. During the confirmation hearing, the senators asked him to bow and no questions were asked of him. The senators believed he was beyond reproach. He became the minister of power and steel - a portfolio he changed to Power and Steal after he started saving NEPA funds in private accounts.
The more honest Mr. Afolabi simply stole money meant for national ID card project.

I don't doubt there are those willing to serve. Look at Okigbo or Justice Oputa. It does not take long to discover your good intentions mean nothing. You can't change an evil regime from within. If you can, just break it from without. Don't go deluding yourself. You either chop like Samuel Afolabi did or pretend to serve the bola ige way.

Like Zebrudia used to say, Told them my brother.

Nwa -Afor is deluding himself by even asking that question.

Sorry guys, had to attend to some business.

CSE... Thanks my bros.

Just proves my point that no matter how sincere or good intioned u are, serving in a regime as evil and corrupt as Obasanjo will corrupt and taint even the pope.

That is the reason people like the finance Minister and others can not with clear mind and face point to any benefit their good intention might result to.
Will anything good ever come out from the nest of killers?

So joining corrupt politicians in their national party will only corrupt such individual.

Onye ya na ekwensu na eri nri, na eji ogologo ngaji!

Nwa-Afor,
since even someone like Obasanjo won't ever lower himself down to gutter level in asking pro-biafranists writing at BNW to work for his government, your question should be broadened a little bit to something like this:

Would you, as a non-politician, accept a government contract from the nigerian government?

(for all the snail-minds out there, a government contract could be something like setting up the computer network of a government institution, building roads/hospitals/bridges, working as a medical personnel, conducting maintenance work for high-tech machines etc.)

I will not even accept petty cash contract from Obasanjo. Have you seen any Biafran working for Obasanjo. Obasanjo have tried everything possible to buy Uwazuruike's silence and he has not succeeded. Biafrans are not Alhaji Dukabo.

I don't believe writing long grammar corelates well with what one might achieve given the opportunity.
Again, the tragic Bola Ige comes to mind.
Bola Ige was also fondly referred to as Cicero of Esa-Oke. He had no problem writing beautiful grammar which in the end made no sense at all. He lived up to his reputation by launching the ground breaking "AGENDA FOR POWER, STEEL AND ALUMINIUM " published by the now defunct Postwired Express in 1999. In his utopian world the power target for Nigeria was :
quote:
The power target: The target for the power sector is put in a very simple language:
Cut down incidents of wanton power failures by 50% in six months, by 75% in twelve months and by almost 100% in twenty-four months.. No excuses will be accepted or acceptable. Meet target or be fired.
This is the power creed. And it shall be adequately empowered and firmly enforced.
Because of the varied nature of incidents of power failures, it is pertinent to make further clarification. By this target, NEPA is being directed to reduce the frequency of all wanton outages to any consumer, whether domestic or industrial, to not more than a pre-set short time, probably designated for routine maintenance or emergency. Also, NEPA shall increase the daily maximum simultaneous peak electricity demand from its present 1,600 to 2,500 MW; all these within six months. Thereafter, NEPA shall build optimum capacity within 24 months.
In 24 months, that is, the incidents of power failure will be a thing of the past and consumers can say, Now Expect Power Always!

I never thought the then deputy leader of Afenifere who plunged his Oyo state into anarchy in 1983 was going to deliver. However, his agenda was very bold and impressive.
From time to time, I glance over his impressively written but meaningless agenda . Every time I did, I came to the same conclusion: somehow Nigerians equate reciting english words to ability to govern. Of course, that is another illusion.

What is up with this Knight fellow, a man with multiple handles in this forum.

Now he is obsessed with finding information about people. He wants to know who is the Webmaster, he wants people's pictures, he wants to know people's ages? He wants all these information while not revealing his identity like Bolaji Aluko.

knight,

If you want all those information, it might be a good idea on your part to let all know about you. When you reveal your information starting with your real name, age and location then you should expect answers, if you are unwilling to do that the by all means stop asking questions.

CSE:
I agree with u long grammar does not necessarily mean good performance. Obasanjo has many who write and speak good, nevertheless, the have all failed to tell him the truth.
When u fail to obey the law, abide by the constitution, ignore accountability, and exchange mediocre performance for excellence; what u get is what we now have in nija.

Knight:

If i were a contractor, i would accept a contract from Obasanjo's govt. but i doubt if i would be awarded one, cos, i will vehemently refuse to offer 10% to those initiating and approving the contract. However, in a situation that i am well immersed in the system, have to feed my family, pay back loans, most with good intentions are forced to dance to the tune of those awarding such contract. That is why we need change our system.
