However, you've been at BNW much longer before I even knew about BNW.
Anyway, while reading through the archives of BNW, I am able to see a pattern with which some members, biafran activists, systematically manipulated and dribbled other anti-biafranist into getting banned.
I was really shocked, for instance, with the way the handle Biafra managed to have my old display name cancelled.
Mr Aluko, you are an educated man. Let me hear your mind on this: When you google the word "Biafara" you'll get a lot of sites which will lead you to some ancient maps on Africa, drawn by european sailors from the 16th-19th century. There, on those ancient maps, you'll see the original word (Biafara) which the portuguese used to describe
the entire region east of River Niger going down to Mount Cameroon.

1) What's the literal meaning of Biafara? 2) When and why did "Biafara" change into "Biafra"?
