Please join me to extend a hearty and well deserved congratulations to a special person in the comity of writers, UKAOBASI on his attainment of Avocat Supérieur status. His 1001 postings are full of unmistakably loaded facts that are undisputable by every standard.

Well deserved congratulations to you. However I will pass on TB's invitation if I were you, that is if you want your secrets to remain secret. The guy is worse than the national enquirer.

Have I been talking that much? Pretty alarming!!! Pretty scary if you ask me.
My brothers,
Ordinarily, one would have inclined towards sneaking past this 1000 posts mark given that there is yet much to be said, however given (Rapid response's) MeBiafran's gesture of considerate solidarity in starting this thread, I now use this opportunity to extend appreciations to MeBiafran, Biafra, TB, Chiboy and Chima Njoku respectively.
Thank you all getlemen, for the kind, thoughtful, and encouraging posts you have each made, especially coming from quality people with engaging minds whose company on this board I have likewise been highly priviledged and honored to keep.
Chiboy,
Man, are you telling me? I have long noted TB's radical genius, and have always tried to be sparing in my words to him. I love the guy tho. You have to. He lives here!!!

It must certainly be said that it was people like Ukaobasi that put the "intellect" in the incredible and steady journey that made BNW Forums the intellectual nerve center of the African cyberspace. I read an article this morning entitled "Honour to whom Honour is Due."
Keep up the good work my man. Honor is certainly due here.

I recognize your diligence, and because of your ability to present your believe, and pursuing it vigorously without maligning others, I join others to say congratulations on your elevation to the esteem status of Avocat Supérieur. You deserve it and you are duly recognized for it.

To brothers Teddy, Tunde Onabanjo, Bababoyz, Njiko UmuiIgbo, OkwyOnwuka, and Chu-Chu Ukabam;
Gentlemen, please believe me when I say that the profoundly expressed, kind, thoughtful and encouraging comments you all posted on this thread have been such as I never expected from any boardmember knowing how busy people are and how when we do show up here, one is usually geared up to do battle.
I am indeed deeply humbled by the depth of goodwill that resides here at BNW and candidly wish to thank you all for your generous and kindhearted encouragement.
I have all along hoped to sneak past this milestone, given as I stated earlier that there is yet more to be said. In fact, after the first batch of responses for which I had posted a note of thanks above, I had immediately written the Webmaster suggesting/requesting that threads such as this be moved to another more subdued newly created or existing forum so that more controversial matters necessitating fierce and violent infliction of refinement upon each others ideas could continue unabated.
I am now throwing that suggestion out to the general forum so that if acceptable, others can drop the Webmaster a one-line supporting it.
Again I'm greatly humbled by the responses recieved from all the gentlemen who have commended me with such candor as above, and though ironic that I perpertuate this thread through this posting, I now use the opportunity to seek your input to the Webmaster (not here) to enable future congratulations starting from this one to be removed from this particular forum to a subdued forum of its own where it stands out of the way, while still achieving its intended purpose.
Thanking you all in advance.

It seems that a lot has been happening in this forum since my absence from this forum for a few days due to the violent rain storm hitting Southern California. Today is the first day on sunlight in my neck of the wood.
Well, my friend it is better late than never.. Congratulations on your achievement of Avocat Supérieur it could not have happened to a better man than you. You deserve it more than most who have achieved that milestone because your writings are meaningful and well thought out.
Well Congratulation again and please keep up the good work.

Ndewo. I received your message while in haste to come at last to the African shore. However, the winds have withstood me, and I find time now to reply to your post.
Think not, noble Biafran, that ever Ukaobasi will go bound unto Rome(BNW); he bears too great a mind. I last spoke with him on the calends of March, after the issue of battle was known. We mused over our struggles, and our many triumphs, but never once did he complain about our corporeal fate, never blaming Fortune for her choice of favor. As I listened to his words, like masters of honor, it seemed to me that I was transported...and carried outside myself, to another place and time. I saw the essence of glory surround his person, at the sight of which I fainted for fear, thinking that I had beheld a god. Alas, when I awakened, he was gone.
Since that time, I have heard faint rumours of his whereabouts. Some say he ascended to Valhala and challenged Odin for his seat; others, that he walks in solitude on distant shores. Still others claim that his evil genius tricked him into going back into the past, and that he now lives his former life as Caius Superbus Ukaobasus, Governor of all Egypt and it's southern provinces(Nigeria included). This last I give credence to, as a fate worthy of the man. If he should appear to us again, it must be by advent and revelation, most probably at the full moon and in conjunction with a solstice, or equinox. So say all the diviners. Mind you, a festival proclaimed in his honour might hasten the event. However, silence those who are blasphemers, such as Mota the Oga of Llala-land(who speaks a vulgar and unknown dialect)(take from him his evil weed and burn it with fire, being careful to avoid the smoke of sorcery), and Blab-a-noise(I mean Bababoyz), the false prophet, and other unclean persons among you. Execute all offenders, especially Ineba Jimoh and Fumi Onodipe(spare them only if they prostrate themselves). Subject all awusas to decimation, but reserve Mallam Daud in chains, thus we may appease his wrath. This I have direct from the oracles. Ita est.
These are the very last words I heard from the Honorable Ukaobasi, spoken first to his friends, then to his enemies...

Your Shakespearian satire can only come from a prepared mind, I enjoyed it. I beg thee though to spare the life of Bababoyz I see him different from Fumi Onodipe whom as you decreed must be brought to the execution gallery without much ado. The animals of the wild await his body. This we must do in haste before the Honorable one, Uka awakens to denounce it. He’s not to see blood especially a contaminated one as Onodipe’s that is only good for the evil forest.

That sounds like a desperate cry for help. Otherwise, that kind of gutter language from HeBiafran should be actionable by the webmaster of this site, if there is one anymore.

I believe you have your head inside out, you should face the person that put you in shackles. Does SATIRE mean some to moslems? What islamic elementary did you dropout from? Read, child, read. On another front, lemme ask ya, if the Webmaster is such a no good according to your islamic one-way of seeing things like your brethren in nigeria, why are you still here? You can not be whining about BNW the way you do and still be around that to me is idiotic hypocrisy. I think.

Perhaps I should included a disclaimer in my last post. I thought it would be obvious I was just kidding around, but since it doesn 't appear to be so for you, please acknowledge that nothing I said in my last post was at all serious, rather as MeBiafran said, it was just a little humor mixed with satire. If you are a student of Ancient history(as I am) you would be familiar with the style in which powerful men and rulers would write to the home crowd. It was just a harmless imitation of some of the things they might have said.
