quote: MeBiafran who are you trying to deceive with this mumbo-jumbo sentence? Educated BNW readers/ forumites? If you want to say/write that Ojukwu is wrong, please say it in modern day oxford english.
Whoever you are, othniel, I suggest you read and understand what the argument is about before your prejudice towards me overtakes your sense of reasoning. What is the relationship between the childish reference to the quote and the subsequent writing? See how naive you are, you signed on today with second post yet already knew that I "rebuked strongly" those that are against Ojukwu. Just to satisfy you at the same time embarrass ya, here are a few of my positions.
quote:Does Ojukwu actually believe that the Igbo would give their blessings to his errancy no matter what? – MeBiafran Feb 17, 2005.
Ikemba was dead wrong for his open and quick support to a group that never cared much about his wellbeing despite Okorie’s fraternal demonstration of love and loyalty towards the same. MeBiafran Feb 16, 2005.
Once it is proven that Ojukwu have started doing things that are inimical to the greater Igbo population, anyone still rallying behind him would be a fool. I wouldn’t for sure. MeBiafran Feb 10, 2005.
But please be assured that you are under no gag to spare Ojukwu, myself or anyone that is found culpable of illegality vis-à-vis, stealing, murder, embezzlement, poor governance and more. MeBiafran Feb 09, 2005.
othniel, next time do a little homework in adult language we call it research before you join a discussion.

MeBiafran again, you are trying to play on BNW reader's intelligence. The four quotes you brought are from 2005. I'm talking about the many pro-Biafran quotes from last year 2004, buddy, ok? Meanwhile, I'm not (!) the one who think I am!

Going by your standard it would have made sense for me to have denounced this man even before anything is proven, right? The German way I presume. If you are really able to understand what you read and at the same time an adult you would have applauded those whose previous positions were in support of this man until recently when all these APGA mess overtook the man's mind. Instead what did you do out of your blinded hate, castigate us even as we say that his approach this time around was wrong. Really I don't know how to write the word wrong in German for you to get it, "buddy!" Only grown folks could do what I continue to do here inspite of the unnecessary attention I get from you. So, let me ask you this, are you GAY? You seem to be infatuated with me I don't go that way sly. But please find time to get some coaching from bababoyz who clearly recognized the distinction between one's position today and yesteryear with his acknowledgements.

In order to free your mind from the Ojukwu-pestilence, you must do more than just to "say that his approach was wrong". That's not how to properly rebuke a person who has f....ed up big time. And you know it! Rebuke the man properly and folks like me will remain quite!

See how you as a biafranist have now lowered yourself. So, now your yourobber enemy is setting standards for you?!! Why not include bababoyz then in your silly "A yoruba you can trust" thread?

As a low fella with severe complex problem at times I want to leave you alone to wallow in your stupidity but again what am I here for if I should let that happen? Hence I'll try much as I could to EDUCATE a fool, you by explaining for uncountable times my style. In the past bababoyz others and myself had strong disagreements over our writing styles or propositions but today we show mutual understanding and respect as adults we are unlike a child whose Igbo father disowned and left to rotten in a Nazi land, Germany the land of haters. othniel, you're obviously a hate filled no good excrement so while you continue to amuse thyself, let me say that I have no problem with individual Yoruba or Hausa men who recognize the unjust governance of obasanjo. Your last PM to me gave me the window I needed to discern you, I was able to see the wickedness in you therefore made up my mind to spank you harder next time you rear your ugliness in public. Enjoy your stay while it lasts cuz the Web Chief will definitely enforce the rules, which you continue to break as a nauseating desperado!

Wimps like yourself cannot endure one full round of meaningful discussion, this is why they keep calling for their buddy, the "WebChief", who'll side with them and start banning.

Daud I know! This proves the superiority of Othniel's organization over this stupid and extremely primitive biafran movement, because you only chase away that which you fear!
One of Othniel's predictions has come to pass: Ojukwu will be kicked out of the igbo hall of great leaders WITHOUT HONOURS!
The next one follows thereafter: The myth of Ojukwu's "biafra" will be publicly de-mystified in the minds of Ndigbo.

Alas! The bastard does not realize who the wimp is since the bastard keep changing handles whereas this Igbo warrior maintained the same handle ever since I registered here. So, now you know what a wimp is, boy. Back to your stupid comment, if this is what you deem "meaningful", I'll hate to see the un-meaningful exchange by you. My joy is that everyone here now see you as EVIL, the devil himself due to your innate bini wickedness. I have not seen a single bini male or female that is not inherently wicked, which your writings confirm. As for your friendship with the awusa chap, it is well known that the only time you nigerians get together or show love is when it has to do with the great ones, Igbo. Imagine a relationship between a clueless awusa boy and a wicked bini "born throw away?"

True, yet because you are a BBD (biafran blind dog), you are allowed to post insultive and abusive and even racist postings WITHOUT getting banned (because you are a BBD). Yet, others who merely display an intelligent anti-biafran attitude get kicked out for exactly that: being intelligently anti-biafran.
That's the nigerian style of injustice, and as a BBD, you are proud and honored to be a partaker of this nigerian system. I can't blame you. Didn't you receive nigerian indoctrination from the elementary and secondary schools you attended in Nigeria?
Don't worry, buddy, we'll help you fix that, too! That's a promise!

I see you as an angry waste. Although I think your anger is misdirected since I had no hand in your step father's decision to abandon you in Germany to be raised by the nazi organization and as expected, you turned out very badly. I have reason based on my discussion with someone who kinda know you to believe that the bini cunt who dropped you into the world from encounter with a German drunk is eating your soul and mind. Where and how did I come in people might ask. Well, somehow an Igbo man who might well be an uncle (Dr. EEO) was also in the picture, it was his involvement with the bini cunt, your mother that stamped end to your mother's union to the German. Deal with it, son just manage.

Nwa Aro characterized you perfectly well. He said you "are so stupid, you believe Germany is a one-room appartment". Nazi Germany is no longer in existence.
What's wrong, MeBiafran, can't stand the fact, that a legion of intellectual anti-biafran half-castes are ready to thwart ANY dumb-assed step by any neo-biafranist movement? Maybe you are annoyed over the latest rebuffing you've received at the UN?

How I respond to this cowardly statement is this, anyone who is so afraid to clearly put down his thought be it my name or their outlook to me is a small boy or even a lying tout so please pass the message. So if your nazi germany does not exist anymore does that mean the indoctrination you received is equally lost? I don't think so for it has been said that a child is not born a hater but acquires the trait based on upbringing as in your sorry case. Are you now ashamed of your German roots, little boy? I figured!

Surely you know that this Bread and Butter is the same person who has flouted BNW rules over and over again. He seems to want to be kicked out. Why can't he just stick with one handle or change his handle legally. He is trying to give the appearance that BNW is partial to opposing opinions, which is not true.

To even address an awusa boy like Idi Amin daud is like trying to make sense of his islamic belief. If their reasoning is right one wonders how come the awusa chap and others have not been "vaporized?" Othiel obviously is a dumb chap otherwise he would have noticed the insincerity in Idi Amin's cheer because he's maintained the same handle contrary to what he wants his boy to do, flaunt the rules. If other chatrooms are anything close to BNW I make bold to say nigeria would have been on its way to stardom. Greg, do you think a Yoruba or awusa controlled site would let someone who has no respect for their leaders to continue to cast aspersions on them? No way!

Nwannem, this Bread and Butter is not worth our time. Anyone can see his virulent hatred for Biafrans, and will take all he says with a pound of salt. His embittered tirades portray a psychotic condition, which, alas, we are powerless to cure. His disease is in a progressed state, and the pus is oozing from his mouth. I suggest quarrantining, or at the least, high-altitude bombing, to obliterate a possible source of plague. Coming to close to his person has a high risk of contamination.

So far, and going by the encounters and the effective results that are out there in the public domain between these two elephants, it seems Obasanjo has always come out as winner against Ojukwu.
Does the results that have emerged between the two of them means Obasanjo is smarter than Ojukwu or is it that Ojukwu is dumber than Obasanjo?

Candidly speaking, I would have love him to be invited/appointed and then for him to shove it back to OBJ like Achebe did with the national award. Ojukwu stoop so low in his desperation to be appointed and OBJ took that advantage to sideline him and ridiculed him. I am positively sure that Ngige must have been under instruction not to nominate him too.
Personally, i think the whole thing is nothing but a jamboree and my opposition to any conference by whatever name it is called has not been oblivious in my writings and comments. Going through the names of the nominees and appointees of this conference has gone a long way to confirm the fear of many of us who are opposed to the SNC. Most people on the list are nothing but government cronies, and at the end of the day all they would have succeed in doing is rubberstamping their master wish.
Now each of them is going to be 1.8 million naira richer after the conference. I am expecting someone, somewhere, somehow to ask OBJ where he is getting the money for this jamboree since the NA has not appropriated any money for the event

Ojukwu was the problem with APGA, not Obasanjo - says Okorie
quote:Okorie absolves presidency of role in APGA crisis By Kodilinye Obiagwu
CONTRARY to his initial view, the embattled chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Chekwas Okorie has absolved President Olusegun Obasanjo of involvement in the leadership crisis rocking the party.
He said recent developments in the party had forced him to change his views that the Presidency was the external factor in the party crisis Okorie, who was expelled from APGA after a meeting of the party's stakeholders held in Enugu on Tuesday, said: "I don't think that way any more. Now I am more convinced that they (the Presidency) are innocent, as I never thought of the party's presidential candidate in the 2003 polls, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu's hidden agenda of ousting me and cornering APGA to become leader. At his age and stature, he should be settling disagreements inside the house and not in the market place."
Describing his purported expulsion as a breach of the party's constitution, Okorie accused Odumegwu-Ojukwu of assuming the leadership of the party outside its constitution.
"What he has done is to assume the formal leadership of the rebellion against the leadership of the APGA. He is not the leader of the party. His agenda is to assume leadership of the party in which the chairman will be subordinated to the so-called leader," he said.
He said it was ironical that "while Odumegwu-Ojukwu was organising the rally in Enugu to castigate me, the government was recognising me not only to lead APGA but to represent other parties at the national political reform conference."
Okorie told The Guardian on telephone yesterday that the well attended stakeholders' meeting in Enugu "has no political value with regard to the existence of APGA."
He added: "There is no way they can take the resolutions to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). They cannot justify the forum under the constitution of APGA; they were not competent under the constitution of APGA to convene any meeting of the party involving any organ.
"It was a meeting that was attended by some members of other parties. We sighted at least one member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the National Conscience Party (NCP).
"Despite the crisis, APGA is intact. What has happened is that the party has been able to shed a baggage that was an impediment to it.
"Odumegwu-Ojukwu's presence in APGA worked for us in two extremes. On one side, his presence elicited an emotional attachment of many Igbo people to APGA. On the other hand, it made the elite who had the resources to support the party, to withdraw that support.
"We zoned the chairmanship of the Board of Trustees to the North, thereby increasing the national outlook of the party. Now we have a better APGA, a more national APGA. This is contrary to the present parade by Victor Umeh and Odumegwu-Ojukwu."
On the accusations of embezzlement, which precipitated the said expulsion, Okorie said that Odumegwu-Ojukwu had become his accuser and his judge and he (Okorie) was being forced to prove his innocence even when "the onus of proof of my guilt lies with the accusers and not the other way."
Okorie who said his present concern is how to represent the other 26 political parties at the proposed national dialogue as their delegate noted that it was only in the constitution of APGA that the resolution of the crisis would be found

Bros, I don`t think Chekwas is doing anything outside his level of experience politically. The problem Ndigbo have had to endure for so long is that of political immaturity in the face of danger. From the time of General Ironsi to Chief Jim Nwobodo, our style of politics which inadvertently help our same oppressors to creat and widen a minute crack in Igbo solidarity has not changed till date.Chekwas definitely and probably rightly feels victorious for being invited by Obj.Thus,he simply cannot stop himself from making eventually regretable comments. The truth is that at the end of the day, unless all the APGA principal actors seek a round table reconciliation, that party is as good as dead.Which is exactly the the strategy behind OBJ`s show of support to the different factions at different times to ensure a complete internal self destruction of that rising so called Igbo party. All the regretable statements would only make that vital reconciliation for the sake of saving a rising political party for Igbos impossible to attain.Igbo politicians are so myopic sometimes that i wonder why only charlatans and neophytes are always at the fore leading such richly talented group as Ndigbo.
My deep worry about the future of Ndigbo in Nigeria post this Obj`s confab grows deeper daily when i consider the inherent rather selfish attitude of most of the nominated Igbo delegates. While some of our tested best as Dr Alex Ekwueme are strangely excluded, the best from other regions are nominated in huge numbers.Again,Obasanjo has already fixed an expiry date of 3 months for the confab to argue, consult, decide and come up with recommendations for ALL Nigeria`s problems!Which strongly suggest he already knows what conclusions/recommendation the confab must reach. The Northern ACF has given a warning of the intrigues to expect by now claiming it wants a disintergration into six countries or the deamalgamation of the north and south. All these emerging complexities worry me immensely especially when those purportedly representing Ndigbo are unable to draw up a common agenda, most are still gleefully celebrating their nomination to recieve N20,000 ($130 USD) daily for three months($11,700) ,others are busy picking unnecessary quarels with their constituency. while at the same time, the other regions are perfecting strategies/common agenda to legalise our disadvantage and deliberate dispossesion in Nigeria commenced unofficially since january 1970.I wonder if i`m the only one watching!

I think Chekwas Okorie should work more and talk less. It suprises me how easy it is to get interviews from these people. People will not judge Okorie a success if all he achieves is further demeaning Ojukwu.

Njiko UmuIgbo,
My able and honorable brother as your handle name goes, so have your postings proven to be. That feeling and concern you expressed above is exactly what many other Igbos feel, and the saddest part is that when an attempt is made to do something about it divisions on the basis of the most minute and petty irritations spring up and get blown into unimaginably exponential proportions, in the end it becomes "to your tents O Israel!"
Another sad thing is that most oftentimes all parties to the usual unbridgeable strife once started, are in agreement of the same principles and outlooks on a broad spectrum of issues in one manner or other, but cannot be persuaded by basic survival instinct to dig out of their entrenchment and compromise individual idiosyncracy for the greater good.
It finally makes me wonder whether the best approach is not to ask every Igbo to draw up a common agenda list, and individually start acting it out in their own lives, that way we can all converge at the same point without encountering and irritating each other along the way.
quote:The Northern ACF has given a warning of the intrigues to expect by now claiming it wants a disintergration into six countries or the deamalgamation of the north and south.
My brother I wish you could add a link to support this thing, because it would represent a very huge leap indeed, ie Northerners actually demanding a confederate arrangement or could it be a veiled seccession demand? How would they survive??? Wonders they say shall never cease!
