ASA-USA CONDEMNS WORLD IGBO CONGRESS'S PASSIVITY IN PROSECUTING THE WAR AGAINST IGBO ON IGBO TERRORISTS

WE the entire people of Anambra State resident in the United State of America under the aegis of Anambra State Association, being so assiduously applied to the prosecution of an unprovoked war declared against our state by President Obasanjo's political brigands declare as follows:

Whereas President Obasanjo sponsored treason, police-dominated acts of destabilization, terrorism, arson, deliberate acts of murder, all of which amounts to war against our state, using police powers at his sole disposal, by the agency of Mr. Christian Uba and his cohorts, and has so far used extra-constitutional powers to insulate his foot-soldiers from the reaches of Nigerian criminal justice system;

Whereas the people of Anambra State have resolved that the evil against our state shall not go unrequited and have therefore resorted to self-help to resist Obasanjo's armed conflict against us, using all legitimate weapons at our disposal, including the isolation of these terrorists;

Whereas the Nigerian Ambassador to the United States threw a Party for Mr. Christian Uba against the clarion call of our people and traditional rulers to ostracize Igbo terrorists;

Whereas ASA-USA considers that unfortunate incident imprudent at best and at worst, a reckless disregard for the sensitivity of our traumatized people by the Ambassador, proximately bordering on the whole, to an intentional outright hostility to the interests of our people;

Whereas WIC hastily and ill-advisedly took out a Press Release solely and entirely endorsing the conduct of the Ambassador;

Now wherefore we state that:

WE consider the January 24th, 2005 Press Release by WIC, giving the Nigerian Ambassador to the United States an unmerited vote of unmitigated confidence for feting Mr. Christian Uba, an Igbo terrorist, an Intentional slap on the face, calculated to ridicule our traumatized people and to frustrate the interests of Anambra State and Ala-Igbo.

We regret WIC's failure in her post-convention communiqué, issued on or about September 14th, 2004, to join voices with Chinua Achebe to repudiate Obasanjo's tragic intermeddling with the governance of our state through the agency of Mr. Uba and other Igbo terrorists, as an act of gross negligence bordering on surreptitious aid to Igbo terrorists.

We deeply regret WIC's inexcusable failure to condole our people or to condemn Igbo terrorists, or otherwise offer support to our embattled people following the November 16th, 17th, 18th , 2004, Obasanjo instigated, police-abetted conflagration of Anambra State masterminded by Mr. Christian Uba, probative of WIC's diluted, if conflicted, commitment to Igbo interests and again borders on intentional surreptitious aid to Igbo terrorists.

WE advise WIC that we consider WIC’s overall passivity, and all instances of support, refuge or otherwise, given to Igbo on Igbo terrorists, a breach of the mutuality of trust that exists between WIC and the people of Anambra State, and we hereby warn WIC that ASA-USA considers allegations of severely conflicted WIC operatives who are doubling up as Obasanjo's agents of Igbo destabilization as not totally lacking in merit, and we are committed to rooting WIC of Obasanjo infiltrates, and any further hostility towards Anambra State interests will be met with swift and disproportionate application of resistive force.

WE advise all Anambra State citizens to remain vigilant and to keep an open eye for political job hunters, political profiteers, self-seekers, evil-neutral sophisticates, Igbo on Igbo hate mongers, divisive and factional Igbo elements, and be ready at a moment's notice to reevaluate their continued involvement with WIC.

WE are committed to the civil, social, political, and legal isolation of Igbo on Igbo terrorists as a potent and legitimate weapon of the war we are prosecuting, and we ask Igbo people to refrain from any social engagement with these terrorists, and to report all known instances of accommodation and friendship of Igbo terrorists, so that those persons shall themselves be isolated.

WE firmly resolve that the ability of anybody whomsoever and any government worldwide to give support and accommodation to Igbo terrorists must be severely circumscribed. The support so far given to Igbo terrorists and fugitives from justice by WIC lends itself to Igbo collective disgust. We ask Igbo people to remain weary of see no evil, hear no evil leaders, and we advise all Igbo persons that the least amount of consortium, friendship, support, or kindness rendered to Igbo terrorists shall be considered an act hostile to Anambra State interests and there will be repercussions.

WE assure Anambra State citizens worldwide that the outcome of the unjust and unprovoked war declared against our state and citizens by Obasanjo and his Igbo mercenaries is certain we shall prevail on our own terms.

Finally, WE thank the friends of Anambra State worldwide who themselves are personally and collectively committed to the isolation of Igbo terrorists, for their support and friendship. We especially thank Nigerians who share our aspiration for democracy that is truly substantial, and we welcome them as partners in this war. Our great State will reciprocate their kindness in due course, as partners in victory, and we assure you that with your continued support, President Obasanjo and his Igbo on Igbo terrorists will be isolated and routed with ignominy.

Signed this Day, January 28, 2005:
