Admin,

It not only captured it, it enhanced it by refining it beyond my expectations.

Thanks for the great trouble you have taken on this matter, it remains highly appreciated.

I never thought I would live to see the day in this forum when the supporters of Ojukwu's actions would be a minority. But, it has happened. I read the following in another forum on this board:
quote:
Ojukwu told reporters at his Independence Layout residence in Enugu yesterday, that it was the wish of the people of the South East that he should be present at the conference and this informed the approach made to me by the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo to lead Igbo delegates to the dialogue, but it had become clear that some people were not comfortable with his participation...
It shows that Ojukwu has become delusional. Ojukwu did not care what the people of Southeast wanted because he thought he had the support of the "the boss" in Abuja. He alienated his traditional supporters because he thought he had support from his traditional enemies, Ohanaeze and Obasanjo. All along, it was a very cheap political trap from an old trick bag, which even a first year student in politics should have been able to navigate around. Under scrutiny, Ojukwu has proved himself to lack the wisdom to lead in the treacherous political environment called Nigeria. With that, he has consigned himself to irrelevance.
