There is this saying in Igbo land, "otito toro nwoke na akpa amu bu ajo otito"

Ngige and Dariye could be said to be otito toro PDP na akpa amu.

The difference here is that while Ngige has the support of people in Anambra and beyond, Dariye may now be reaping the fruit of corruption.

PDP is confused as to how to deal with these two. They both have issues with Baba PDP, Obasanjo. They both have exposed Obasanjo as a vindictive and corrupt individual who east and dines with criminal elements.

While Dariye calls Obasanjo his godfather, http://**********************2005/mar/17/303.html

Ngige refuses to bow to Obasanjos intimidation.

Ngige has the support of Audu Ogbeh and maybe Atiku( though he works from behind the scene or refuses to tell it like its, selfish ambition), ogbehs support cost him the chairmanships job.

Ngige is loved by most in Anambra and has shown the people that good governance is possible only if public servants can stand up to those bent of stealing the state treasury blind.

Dariye on the hand was caught with his hand in the jar. He is now a wanted man by interpol, with no place to hide. He was busy stealing from the state treasury and siphoning his loot abroad without looking back. He had previously threatened to expose all other public officials who steal from the public treasury. His threat did not hold water since most have reshuffle their tactics and changed the codes to their secret accounts.

PDP will decide whether to 'kpapuo the otito', in which case it might affect others who are praying silently that these issues go away, or just let the 'otito kponku ' and dissapear.

Of these two, Ngige's case will be the worst, because of 'ogu na ofo' Ngige holds with his two hands by delivering good governance to the people.

Dariye will be left to hang, while Ngige will have many holding him up. http://**********************2005/mar/17/422.html
