The recent Igbo fraternal crises in China is not something new to the Igbo Diaspora communities. It is very unfortunate that history repeats itself. Igbo culture is endowed with litanies of rich cultural heritage and being our brother's or sister's keepers is one of the cardinal cultural virtues in Igbo land.

Since after the Nigeria-Biafra war in January of 1970, some Igbo Diaspora communities have registered cases of fraternal betrayals. It has happened in Libya, the United States, Italy and some other countries. All hands should be on deck to nip this cancer from the bud. It is utterly shameful and embarrassing that this problem could rear its monstrous head once more. May we pray that the China episode should be the last stabbing from the back in Igbo Diaspora circles. Enough is enough!!!!
