One of the pillars of community discourse in this forum has recently gone AWOL. Like him or not, his presence has the resultant effect of generating passions, which in itself is not bad, in that this ultimately leads to robust discussion and education. The likes of Ukaobasi, Umuigbo, addy, et al have gone underground taking with them a wealth of knowledge and timeless pennage from this forum. I will hate to see Mebiafra's name added to this list as much as i hate that the list does exist at all.I believe it is time we began to care more about and for each other in ways that transcend our peculiar differences of Biafra/Oduduwa, Biafra/ Arewa, or Oduduwa/Arewa. Where on earth is Mebiafra?

Don't be concerned because, like always, Babbaboyz' information is flawed, and maybe in this case a stale attempt at humour, warmed over from the Onodipean wars, but personally, I think Babbs is just jealous that a thread was started asking Mebiafran whereabouts one week after he stopped posting but no similar one was started for him even though he hadn't posted anything in the last 40 or so days.
Babbs,
If it will make you feel any better, I thought about you at least once while you were gone. Next time I'll be sure to start a thread just for you to keep you from making these juvenile outbursts.

Nothing is amiss on my end I’m very much around. Weeks before I embarked on an overdue vacation to a city (Houston) that moulded my early life in the US I elected to join others in enjoying the comfort of ROMland. I have since returned to my station on 7/11. Thanks for caring, guy.
All: It needs to be said that my emergence on BNW during the assault by the wayward chap that went by othniel and other numerous uncountable handles, was to share what Biafra means to every democracy lover particularly the Igbo nation. It was not about “insulting” one way or the other but to set the record the nigerian wicked propaganda engineered against the Igbo straight and once this was achieved there was no sense making unnecessary enemies hence the reduced posting. I hope this concise yet direct explanation satisfies the enquiry minds out there? Caution though, you better believe I’ll still be on the prowl for any errancy. You may talk about your nigeria and all that nonsense but leave the Igbo and her icons the hell alone you must. Cheers!
Bboyz, I take yours in stride. It’s all good.

As for Bababomboyz, if anybody need to be serving time is his daddy dearest who was the Last Yoruba Embezzler IG before grand daddy of all embezzlers Tafa Balogun.
Welcome back from HTown. I bet you just didn't want to leave after running into your baby mamas from your fun years as a Houston resident way back in the 70's and 80's.

Biafra & Ed, thanks a bunch for the warm welcome. To say I didn't miss H/town will be an open deceit, I did. No telling how long before I pedal back to base. As for "baby mamas," nothing as such given that my Iyawo hung on my neck like never before, which wasn't funny. A repeat visit is therefore called for.

RudeBiafran, as they call you:
What you mean to say is that you are nothing but a rude and empty-brained guttersnipe, and you have nothing meaningful of your own to contribute. Why does it have to take a post from Othniel before you can compose your own posts or engage in discussions like the civilized man you are not?

I was in Houston 4th of July weekend, I couldn't wait to get out. I don't know how you people live in the Town. The Humidity is crushing the smog is worst than Los Angeles.
We love the smell of the smog and as Igbo born and raised, the humidity is not a problem at all. Did you get to visit any of the men's clubs especially the getto variety? Instant grats body, like Waypoint one likes them.

A whole bunch of my folks in town for a wedding also stayed at that Wingate by Sam Houston & 59. So also were the Nollywood guys from nigeria, Zack Orji etc. As you observed it was boiling hot and I don’t know how I survived such violent temperature for so long before my relocation. I wouldn’t mind moving back though, the heat notwithstanding. Had I known you would be spending the 4th of July in Houston, we did connect.
Ed:
What happened to the Gentlemen Club on 59 close to Bellaire? I did not see too many activities as I zoomed through the area. The economy?
Fumi Onodipe you can trust I have no time for you again. Whatever you’re still going through is your cup of gbigiri/burukutu so, deal with it. Buh byeeeee!!
