The recent brutal and horrible Nigerian police killings of innocent Igbo youths in Apo village near Abuja has made it clear that there is Igbophobism in Nigeria. It is crystal clear that they were killed because they are Igbo. It is only an untruthful person who will argue that Nigeria is safe for the Igbo.

The United Nations Special Rapporteur on Human Rights, Prof. Philip Alston was recently in Nigeria and he saw things for himself. The UN Chief condemned the barbaric and dehumanizing killings of the Igbo youths and his acts are contained in his official report after his Nigerian visit.

For those who can't see beyound their nose, Nigeria can be remedied: but for realists and foresighted humans, Biafra is the answer to the Nigerian tragedy. It is only a question of time and the truth about Nigeria will surface.

Col. Onwuatuegwu of the Biafran fame rightly said that "When the expected happens, there is no surprise". Biafrans are not surprised that the Nigeria police, which is the official instrument of the Government of Nigeria, is respnsible for these and similar Igbophobic and terrible violations of human rights. The commision of inquiry set by the Federal Government of Nigeria is only a symbolic guesture and will end up as the recent Confab did. The government of Nigeria is guilty of Igbophobism and the inquiries set up to look into the Abuja ethnic killings will end up where the results of the Oputa Panel are resting. The Abuja killings show how active ethnic cleasing is in Nigeria.

Justice must be done in order that the souls of the Igbo victims of Nigeria's ethnic cleansing could be at rest. Time heals all wounds!!!!

Can you imagine the rubbing of salt to the deep wounds of the Igbo by none other than ohanaeze and WIC? It took a foreigner to bring to the fore the hardships as experienced by the Igboman in that donkey nation, nigeria. Now, the nagging question that yells for attention is; where is the outrage from these efulefu assemblies and what line of action they intend to follow? Writing alone will never stop the murderous north hence the need for a calculated action. It has always been the official policy of the islamic north and their yoruba colluders to do every and any thing to subdue the Igbo spirit even when they know they will never, ever succeed. Sometimes I brood why our yoruba friends and neighbors whom we staked our neck out for during abacha’s quest to destroy them never raise a shrill at these atrocious killings of the Igbo. It’s always something bad happening to us like the barbaric killings in luxury buses full of Igbo passengers and other vile stuffs. Sometimes also I wonder if the brazen attacks on our people (Igbo/Biafrans) could have gone on this long but for the passive support of Igbo efulefus like joe irukwu, ojo maduekwe, emmanuel iwuanyanwu and many, many others both in nigeria and the US as the article below buttresses. I don’t believe we are helped by the inaction of the agenda less Ohanaeze and its driverless counterpart WIC[ker]. Is it possible for all these daily happenings to us to go on without any meaningful insight from these two unethical and dangerous Igbo outfits? I’ll here from let the email below speak the rest.

It is the same, and only, Ohaneze that has failed to grasp and understand the extent of schism in Nigeria: as a matter of fact, when ever was there even any unity at all, except in the pretense, naivety, wishful thinking, connivance and the cowering posture and cowardice of the Ohaneze leadership and membership, infecting even the so-called Ohaneze Youth Wing?

Is it that it is only the Igbo that refuse to face the reality of Nigeria not being one, and never going to be one? 2 weeks ago, Joe Irukwu, the Chair of Ohaneze and the Igbo delegates whom he led to that Obasanjo's conference, using the venue of the recent so-called Igbo Stake Holders Summit (mostly Ohaneze members), had the guts to pronounce an already floundering conference "a success." Imagine that! Of course, in a way, he was technically correct. He, Irukwu, had arrogated to himself to lead the Igbo delegates.

His specific instruction to the Igbo delegates was to advance only what was in the best interest of Nigeria, and to conduct themselves as such. That was a smashing success--the Igbo delegates came back empty-handed: the Northerners operated in their usual mode, closed ranks and demanded what's in the best interest of the North and got everything they asked for, and almost got away with it all, except for the principled intransigence of the Delta--God bless the Delta!!. The Yoruba got all they wanted for the Yoruba, having placed themselves in a Yoruba-win-Yoruba-win position, regardless of outcome. The Delta, by standing on principles, and walking out of the conference permanently, also won everything for their people, and most importantly, RESPECT! Only the Igbo lost everything. Before you remind me of it, the creation of another Igbo state? Nonsense: it is the first thing Obasanjo will throw out, because of his anti-Igbo stance, coupled with Northern opposition which he would willingly yield to. In any case, regarding the current Igbo states, are they not ruled by Obasanjo and the Northern caliphates, directly and indirectly?

People like Joe Irukwu, organizations like Ohaneze and WIC, and the so-called Igbo Stake Holders, should be held accountable by our people for such a disgraceful performance, for bringing more insolence and disrespect to our people, and for wholesale sellout of the Igbo. Igbo youth should henceforth borrow a leaf from Delta youth who insisted that their delegates not return home if they failed to represent the true demands of the Delta people. Irukwu should not show his face in Igboland. Nor should Ohaneze be operative in Igboland.

We take no pleasure in reminding you that we told you so. At the beginning of the conference when Irukwu was prancing around in order to please his lord and master, Obasanjo, and as such called for the Igbo delegates to drop all Igbo concerns and focus on one-Nigeria interests only, we called him on that: nobody listened. Prior to that, we had declared that Irukwu and co. did not, and could not, represent Igbo interests, and were not picked by the Igbo people, anyway. No one seemed to pay any attention, either. We also advised our people, including Dim Ojukwu, to stay away from the conference, and we told them the reasons why:

1) Insult and humiliation to Ndigbo

2) Aburi said it all, and Nigeria still refuses to listen and had no plans to re-visit the Aburi Accord at this conference

3) Igbo delegates, because of the way they were selected, will be intimidated and bribed into submission, and would never bring up, let alone fight for, any real Igbo interests. Else, regardless of selection process, in their "naivety" would give away everything to prove themselves more one-Nigerianists than the rest of Nigeria

4) Our participation would only legitimize Obasanjo's pre-conference, pre-fixed agenda, which only served Obasanjo's personal interests which will always be anti-Igbo..

It was only the fifth reason which we did not predict: that the Igbo delegation would actually be taken over by some one like Joe Irukwu who publicly and specifically demanded that the Igbo delegates do everything to protect one-Nigeria, even at the risk of Igbo interests.

It is nauseating to find them now pretending to be stunned by the level of disunity in Nigeria. What have they been drinking? How much money have they been blinded with? I hope our angry youth have a word or two with them; then they might get some sense restored to themselves.
We trust this whole affair is the final nail in the coffin of Nigeria. Like the proverbial fly without good counsel which ends up following the corpse into the grave, those like Irukwu and his ilk (Ohaneze, WIC, Ohaneze Youth Wing, Igbo Stake Holders, etc) can go with Nigeria. The rest of us will go with our nation, Biafra, there to finally fulfill our God-given potential using our God-given talents and resources.
Biafra is the answer--always has been, always will be.
