Much has been said and written about Gabriel Oyibo and his GAGUT or GUT (for short) : the so-called Grand Unified Theorem of Everything. Here, I post arguments on both sides as they appear on Amazon.com reviews of Gabriel Oyibo's book: "Grand Unified Theorem: Representation of the Unified Field, Theory or the Theory of Everything" [quote]Editorial Reviews

Book Description
General theorem providing a mathematical basis for a grand Unified Field Theory (GUT) is presented. The proof of he theorem is shown to be a recent work entitled "Generalized Mathematical Proof of Einstein's Theory Using a New Group Theory", which has been reviewed by the American Mathematical Society (MR 98e 83007). This work provided generic solutions to the unified field, from which both the Newtonian and Einsteinian gravitational fields seem to be recoverable. Furthermore, the electromagnetic filed seem to be recoverable also from these solutions. Since the investigation does not assume the existence of particles a priori, matter could therefore be interpreted as high filed modification of space-time predicted by Einstein's general relativity theory. --This text refers to the Hardcover edition.

First of all, i would like to write regarding the oyibo detractors.
It seems that there are some who wish to attack Oyibo's personality using "facts" based on lies. None of the detractors on this site have said anything regarding the validity of Oyibo's theorem. Among the false claims made by his detractors below are,

1. Oyibo has never been nominated for the Nobel or Presidential Medal of science. Those wishing to check if oyibo has been nominated for the Presidential Medal of Science award can contact any of the following two people who did nominate him.

Please could you tell us who did the reviews.
Were the reviews done by people in the relevant fields or were the reviews done by people who just read the books.

I know that while browsing through the Amazon online bookshop, one is often asked to review a book. This is irrespective of whether the prospective reviewer has any relevant skills as a reviewer or the competence to review intelectual material.

Until these questions are answered, these reviews can be treated as not being different to the opinions held by different members of BNW on Onyibo.

BTW: Things don't quite add up e.g.
