Two days ago Al-Qaeda in Iraq attacked Jordan, killing scores of people. The message in the attack is clear; al-Qaeda has decided to return terror for terror, indiscriminate killig for indiscriminate killing. Like the al-Qaeda attacks that brought down the government in Spain, the Jordan attacks communicate that Al-Qaeda is at war with America and its allies. Jordan's king is an errand boy for Washington and he has unnecessarily exposed his small country to these attacks. These attacks are blowbacks from Iraq. No amount of rented crowds of protesters on the streets of Jordan will change the truth.
