TO MEBIAFRA.

I wanna publicly and sincerely profess my admiration for Mebiafra's pudency. I think he is a prodigy. Never met him before, but a careful prognosis of his various "posts" reveals a sometimes confrontational, but prolific and "on your face" kind of guy. I know he passionately loves his people and meant no harm to no one.

To Fellow Compatriots and Friends.--Please, let's pull our efforts together to save and help our people. Umuigbo Ndinma

Wow! Have to begin by expressing my thanks for your kind and honest words, which sort of in a nutshell summarized who the handle behind MeBiafran is. You know, when someone I do not agree with on a particular thread/issue resorts to calling me names I sometimes pause to wonder if that individual has followed my line of thoughts. When that individual happens to be an Igbo born that makes the insult painfully too much knowing that we will not always agree on everything but how we disagree is what to me is more important. A case in point, that I do not want an orji kalu as a President of nigeria does in no way support the call to kill him. That I want us to show respect for Ikemba does by no stretch mean following blindly as someone that retains the capacity to make his dissatisfaction known without penning the affected as “enemy.” My confrontational side takes over the moment someone comes out swinging and spilling all sorts of abuses without addressing the issues in my post that "offended" the individual. To buttress how I see these debates I’ll use the raging debate in; “Yoruba/Hausa Leadership/Management In Action! - posted November 11, 2005 07:29 PM” between our very own brother, Amadi O., an erudite gentleman, very learned and addy, my friend from the west, equally well versed who to me is a younger version of Wole Soyinka, as an example how a public debate should proceed.

You captured all about me with: ”I know he passionately loves his people and meant no harm to no one.” – Igwekeala. Heck I love my ethnic group and humanity in general, I see the injustice that has been perpetuated against my people in that limping country as the most evil of things.
