"Also, Chief Ralp Uwazuruike, the leader of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, who is also standing a treason trial in Abuja, is said to have been chained in his legs in the cell where he is being kept. The action, it was gathered, is to prevent him from escaping, following renewed clashes between MASSOB members and security agents in the eastern states of the country."

Should we leave him to die?

I also want to use this opportunity to know if chat rooms are available at BNW.

Is it time for those of us who have access to the White House and the Congress to take this matter to them and secure the release of Mz Uwazuruike? Mz Uwazuruike fights for us; he is in chains because it is collective punishment on behalf of those of us who speak out here in support of Biafra. It could be any of us. We must do our duty to seek his release now.

I suggest we raise money here for his legal defense and to contact the White House immediately to make them aware of this situation.
The BAF people appear to be working along this lines already; we can give them the money to hire the legal team. What do you say?

Mz Uwazuruike has a fundamental right to non-violent free speech in support of Biafra. He does not belong in jail or in chains like a common criminal, while Mr. Tony Anenih -- the common criminal and others walk free!!

Past experience teaches us that raising money here and sending it to those BF people is like raising money and giving it to Obasanjo or other enemies of Biafra. Also, the last thing we need is for Nwa Aro to claim that he sent 50DM to Amadi O to actualize Biafra and Amadi embezzled it. We have been down that path before. The people in BF should go back to BiafraNigeria and launch protests to free Uwazuruike. We must move away from using Biafra as welfare program for Oguchi Nkwocha and the other three stooges in BF.
