Hello, my friends from the East

You Igbos are the most honorable of all the people that reside in the abomination known as Nigeria. You had the fore-sight to attempt secession when all the other southerners were busy collecting hand-outs from the core-north. However, it appears that the greatest men and women of the Igbos died during the civil War. The current generation of Igbos are now whoring themselves around the core-North.

In case you might have forgotten, Igbos are the most hated group in the eyes of the North. Ever wonder why the South East is the only one out of the six geo-political zones to have only 5 States (Instead of 6 like the rest)? Ever wonder why the South Eastern States were designed in such away as to deny the Igbos access to the sea?

Under our current system of Federation (If you can truly call it that) each State gets 3 senators and representation in the House of Assembly based on the population of the State. The current situation of the South East geo-political zone only having 5 States was a deliberate attempt by the Core-North to make sure Igbos only produced 15 Senators from their State, as opposed to the 18 Senators that other geo-political zones produced. The lack of a port in the South East geo-political zone is meant to create incentives for Igbos to leave their geo-political zone to populate other geo-political zones. Once this happens, the census would show that the South East has a small population and this would be basis to deny you fair representation in the National Assembly (because many Igbos moved to Lagos, Ibadan, Warri and Kaduna e.t.c. This would add more representation for these States, and make no mistake, when Igbos populate Lagos, they would still be represented by Yorubas from Lagos State. This is the same for the other places I mentioned as well).

Beware, my friends, even with the recent announcement of the creation of a new States in the South East, if that State does not have access to the ocean, it is completely useless. While the reality on the ground is not conducive for the resurrection of Biafra (at this current time) you must make sure that the 6th south East State is carved out of one of the existing South-south States so that you, the Igbos, are not held hostage by having to rely on Nigeria to gain access to a port. Best of luck Igbos. Yeah, I must be the only Nigerian non-Igbos that still has love for you people.

Afeni:

Your analysis is right on the money and until the remaining Igbos with their senses still intact, spared by God during that awusa led ordeal rise up against the many efulefus in our neck of the woods, nothing useful will be gained by us. Much as our Yoroba neighbors and fellow Christians joined the awusa led jihad against us, lately, our problems are no longer that. Instead my people must start immediately to take care by any means necessary the many efulefus - irukwu, iwuanyanwu, nzeribe, udenwa, c.nnamani, arurume etc that abound in Igboland for us to grab the attention of the aforesaid group/neighbors.

MeBiafran, while cleansing out the degenerates from your land might seem to be best option, don't you feel that such a situation would split Igbos. Instead, focusing on puting those degenerates on the stand by making them choose between south eastern interest and the interest of the core North would be a better way of dealing with them. They would obviously side with the North and that alone would descredit.

Igbos should lobby their Governors and National Assembly members to advocate increased state rights. This would get the support of all southern Nigerian States and the middle belt who are tired of being held under the shadow of the core North.

Ednut,I visited the link which you supplied and I am not impressed with what I saw. I would have expected to see the names of the people behind it. I know pictures were supplied but how are we sure these people are really Umu Igbo? Or are you in the picture?

Secondly any organisation that puts that 419 "father of the internet" as an example of our people is just another 419.

Afeni my dear friend (you are based on your ideology so far), I think you got this thing wrong. From the Igbo perspective the people in focus have already been discredited hence the efulefu name they tag along. If my idea will “split” Ndiigbo as you alluded, wouldn’t your proposal to have them choose b/w us and their awusa masters also be a form of division? Their choice to stick with their awusa lords over us which they have already done going by their utterances and antics as I said is the reason we call them efulefus. So that you know, these efulefus are in super minorities but have sworn to wreak mayhem in ala Igbo and I don’t think whatever we do to them would divide ala Igbo instead it would send a strong message to their offspring who in most cases are like them to better behave. But remember the keyword to my injunction is “by any means necessary.” If this means comes through your proposal then that’s what must be done but I tell ya, my people have a better option that will be activated when the time comes. For now, relax good fellow.

I’m not too sure the gentleman that wanted my neck for reminding us how not to overuse titles read this. What values are we teaching our kids if as adults we continue to fall over people that should bury their heads in mud? My attempt last week to draw a parallel between title abuse and the inglory of forgery did not go down well with one brother who ought to know better when I made the 'mistake' of posting on this thread: Philip Emeagwali To Grace N1000 Bill. The assumption is that we must all go along to get along even when the actions of a few are contra-Igbo (contrary to Igbo way of life). What a dangerous concept. Hope the affected person(s) copy (ies) with no malice.
