News (Saturday, August 26, 2006):
..................................................A conference of World Igbo Youth Congress scheduled to hold yesterday at the Beverly Hills Hotel and Resort, Nnewi in Anambra State was scuttled by over 300 security agents who sealed off the premises against the conveners and their visitors.

The security agents comprising soldiers and policemen and State Security Service SSS who took over the place, arrested no fewer than 25 suspected participants who had earlier arrived for the meeting.

At the last count over 25 invited guests and some youth members had been arrested, including former Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Prof Piter Ejiofor, his personal assistant Mr.Jerry Emejuru, representatives of Igbo youths in Europe and Germany Mr Bruno Akudo and Obinna Ejiobi, among others.

..................................................

It is time for the Igbo's as a people to know that the Nigerian system has no respect for them.

Even some Igbo's who think that they are favoured by this same system should know that their days of glory are very temporary. And those who think contrary should think twice because "no one is free until everybody is free"

I still recognize the fact that the Igbo's has got some odds as a people or as a nation but being part of Nigeria is the gratest odd of all.

You gworo eating uncircumcised Bastard when are you going to learn. Few weeks ago you were complaining about Israel bombarding your fellow Jihardist. So now is ok to your stupid people to go after innocent people. How come you were complaining when the bombs were raining on your unlawful brothers in Hizbola.

Mazi Biafra,

This one you, I must say, flunked it. daud is doing what his known for as enjoined by his quran, the question should rather be directed at those Igbo brothers who insulted their own in defense of the stampeding jihadists whose only wish is to see Israel obliterated at all cause. Have I not for too long questioned why it is always the Igbo brothers that are quick to jump in defense of arabists murderers but remain AWOL whenever daud spills his true guts to spite us?

Biafra:

You mean to tell me that the government of our country should ignore trouble makers in the home town of the Biafran warlord. How do we know that it was not Chief Ojukwu that invited those miscreants to Newi to cause trouble?

Daud

I advise that you go back to your primary social studies and learn more about "the Rights of citizens" and "the Rule of law"

If government's actions are based on suspicions and personal sentiments then that is not only unconstitutional but unlawful also. And it means that the security forces of that particular government will be very busy in the future.

Obinna Joseph

Your advising Daud the gworo eating Hausa fulani jihardist is like trying to educate a brick wall. Daud only cry when his fellow jihardist from middle east are been bombard. Now you see why some of us supported Israel to decimate those Hizbolas, those people are like ants, they never learn. Daud doesn't understand simple geograpgy and you want him to go and learn social science you are asking too much from Mallam Daud.
