Quote: -------------- However, I do wish to discuss Kalu's economic plan. Why should my family vote for him. --------------
Again I repeat, Nwa Aro is NOT here to sell any "economic plan" to you or to anyone. WHAT I AM HERE TO DEFEND IS ORJI KALU AND EVERY NIGERIAN'S RIGHT TO VOTE AND BE VOTED FOR.
As regards to your "vote," you and your family has every RIGHT not to vote for Orji Kalu; just as I and my family have the GOD GIVEN right to exercise our franchise by voting for him.
That, Mr. CSE and co IS THE BEAUTY OF DEMOCRACY, and those of you who have lived in the west for long ought to have known and imbibbed that BASIC foundation on which every sustainable democratic institution is built.
Quote: ------------------- I do not wish to dwell on Kalu's role in 1999. I am glad people know about that and can make their own interpretations. I also do not wish to dwell on Kalu's romances with every going tyrant from Babangida to Abacha and until recently, Obasanjo.--CSE ---------------------
CSE: That must be a smart way of admitting that Nwa Aro HAS THE FACTS and HAS NAILED YOU GUYS IN.
You guys from Imo State who often come here to play Mother Theresa (calling everyone who doesn't hold your political viewpoint names) should have known that every anus has a residue of **** in it. In other words, when next you guys raise a finger to point at others, you should know that four fingers are directed at you.
Talking of political betrayals or miscalculations, I for one do not care if a mortal like Orji Kalu or any Igbo for that matter makes a single political mistake or miscalculation. However, what is WRONG and unpardonable is when a people from a particular part of Igbo land, in this case IMO state, makes, once, twice, and THRICE political miscalculations with your so-called elected representatives giving the latter A COLLECTIVE LEGAL STAMP as they did in 2006.
That said, let us for argument sake agree with you that Orji Kalu romanticed with "every tyrant" (thank God you now agree that Obasanjo is one of those "tyrants"). The million euro question is WHAT DID PEOPLE FROM YOUR IMO STATE DO TO TURN A GOOD LEAF LIKE ORJI KALU DID when it became obvious that Obasanjo is indeed a "tyrant" who is out to perpetuate himself in office?
THAT, IS WHAT POLITICAL ANALYSTS CALL COLLECTIVE CRIME, WHICH DESERVES COLLECTIVE PUNISHMENT.
At least, by your own admission, Orji Kalu, unlike your Imo HOUSE SLAVES, knew when to free himself from the grip of the "tyrants" as he did by opposing Obasanjo's life president ambition.
By so doing, he has freed not only himself, the Igbo race but every Nigerian and the Nigeria state from experiencing the fate of countries like the Democratic Rep. of Congo, Liberia, Sierra-Leone, etc, etc.
SO, IF FOR NOTHING ELSE, THE ABOVE IS GOOD REASON WHY ORJI KALU IS MORE THAN QUALIFIED TO LEAD THE IGBO PEOPLE AND WHY HE IS THE PRESIDENT NIGERIA NEEDS AND WILL GET.
It is time you idlings GROW UP and get it in your empty heads that NO AMOUNT of cheap and chidish blackmail could erase Orji Kalu's name from the ballot box, nor could it deter those like the Nwa Aros who are determined to go it all the way from supporting and voting for him.
AGAIN, THAT IS THE BEAUTY OF DEMOCRACY!!

I am never been known to shy away from the truth no matter how bitter it is. Brother I will put my credibily on this board against yours. Yes I am from Imo and proud of it. Every state in the Southeast have produce idiots who betrayed Igbo People whether is your Abia state and Kalu stabing Ekwueme on the back or Nzeribe. The difference is that I seperate the individual from the State. Onyema Ugochukwu was an Obasanjo boy, he is from Abia. I am not going to engage on tit for tat heap of insult in another Igo state.

You seem to forget the PDP that scuttled Kalu's dream/nightmare are/were almost all from Abia. In addition to Onyema, Ojo Maduekwe, Vincent Ogbulafor and even his ex-deputy. By his own admission, Nwa Aro is not here to discuss such weighty issues as economic plans but to spread hatred and twist history to his rather bizarre taste.

Poor folks, I see that a single BLOW OF TRUTH from Nwa Aro and co has given you guys broken jaws and is making you lose sleep. I am afraid I cant help you guys. Because it is same "truth" (ethnic and religious bashing) which you guys dish at others with fanfare that Nwa Aro and co has fed you.
The reason why we Igbos should brave the odds to tell ourselves these HOME TRUTHS is because there, and ONLY there lies our salvation. Another reason why I highlighted the role people from Imo state in particular played leading to the mess Igbo land and indeed Nigeria is today is beacuse you folks from Imo State are often the first to claim to be in the vanguard to 'liberate' the Igbo people from those you claim are our foreign "enemies". THAT FALSHOOD HAS BEEN UNMASKED BY NWA ARO AND CO!
For truth of the matter is that Ndigbo are their own WORST ENEMY and MOST of those causing that disaffection and confusion amongst the Igbo race and Nigerians in general COMES FROM IMO STATE.
How come a state peopled by those CSE and co often foolishly and arrogantly refer to as "educated" are now being led by people like the Nzeribes?
---------------
"Every state in the Southeast have produce idiots who betrayed Igbo People whether is your Abia state and Kalu stabing Ekwueme on the back or Nzeribe.---Biafra. ---------------
True! Let me expand that comment by adding that it is NOT only the southeast state that produces those you described as "idiots" but indeed all of Nigeria does. The diffrence however is the way you people from IMO state embrace those "idiots" with alacrity.
Let me digest:
Even though Ngige is out of power today, Chris Ubah and co are more or less PERSONA-NON-GRATA in his native Anambra State. Ditto for those who lately denied Peter Obi his mandate and almost turned Anambra State into another scene of "mayhem". I bet Chris Ubah with all his money cannot win a fair and free election in Anambra State.
Now compare that with Nzeribe who has been returned, crookishly or otherwise, by the people of Imo state to the Nigerian senate for a record FOUR TIMES!
Quote: -------------- You seem to forget the PDP that scuttled Kalu's dream/nightmare are/were almost all from Abia. In addition to Onyema, Ojo Maduekwe, Vincent Ogbulafor and even his ex-deputy.---CSE. ----------------
Good that you brought up that point. Go ask any informed Abian and he/she will tell you that the reason the likes of Ojo Maduekwe have made Abuja their PERMANENT home and are working from there against the inetrest of Orji Kalu and Abia in general is because they have been REJECTED by the Abia people; they are MORE OR LESS PERSONA-NON-GRATA in Abia State.
Tell me one, I mean one election which either Onyema, Maduekwe or Ogbulafor has individually or colectively contested and won in Abia State and I will tell you how many they have gone into and were HUMILIATED by the good people of Abia state!
ABIA PEOPLE HAVE AND WILL CONTINUE TO PUNISH THEM!
Though you forgot Chukwumerije before he repented, let me inform you and our readers that Chuchwumerije who also sold his consciece during the Bababangida regime was so isolated in and amongst the Abians that he had no choice than to make a retour. That is the reason why he became a thorn in Obasanjo's neck ever since he went to the Senate, and same reason why he succesfully mobilized his fellow senators who voted down Obasanjo's third term dream.
HE HAS PAID FOR HIS SINS!
CSE, could you who claimed to come from Aro-Ndizuogu where Daniel Kanu of YEAA fame also comes from tell us what, if any, action your people of Aro-ndizuogu or Imo State in general has taken to reprimand Daniel Kanu for selling his soul to Abacha. We are all ears.
Now comes to the crudest of all betrayals. This is what one could rightly describe as BETRAYAL OF THE CENTURY. While other pro-third term legislators from other parts of Igbo land and Nigeria are losing nomination at the primaries of their respective parties, Imo state is again breaking the record by being the ONLY state that is about to reward an Obasanjo-for-life advocate by electing him as their governor! For avoiding any untoward event, Senator Arurame from Okigwe senatorial district of Imo Státe is about to become governor of Imo State. Here is the same fellow who did not only vote but is credited with eavesdropping on the anti-third proponents and was said to have mobilized senators from the east to vote for the elongation Obasanjo in office being REWARDED by the people of Imo State!
Yet, the "educated" CSEs on BNW still argue with the NWa Aros when we assert to the FACT that IMO STATE HAS BEEN HIGHJACKED AND THAT IMO PEOPLE ARE LIVING IN BONDAGE.
CSE and co, you could twist or bend the facts as you wish, one uncontestable fact reamins: THE SOCALLED EDUCATION WHICH YOUR PEOPLE OF IMO STATE HAD IS MISEDUCATION OF THE EDUCATED. BECAUSE, EDUCATION WITHOUT COMMON SENSE TO MAKE RIGHT JUDGMENT IS IGNORANCE AT ITS WORST.
The above is not "twisting history." Rather they are STATING THE FACTS as they are.

Udenwa's impeachment plot on hold —AIDE By Emmanuel Aziken Posted to the Web: Wednesday, January 03, 2007
Abuja—The alleged plot by some members of the Imo State House of Assembly to impeach Governor Achike Udenwa may have been put on hold following an initiative by the Orlu Political Consultative Assembly.
Political Adviser to the Governor, Chief Elvis Agukwe speaking after a day long meeting with twelve members of the twenty-seven member House on Monday also dismissed any trace of the involvement of Senator Arthur Nzeribe in the alleged plot. According to him Senator Nzeribe, a recurring political enemy of the Governor was down and had become of insignificant political consequence in the politics of the State.
He spoke against mounting political tension at the end of last year based on speculations of a plot by some members of the Imo State House of Assembly to commence impeachment procedures against Governor Udenwa.
“We met with the twelve members of the House of Assembly from Orlu zone and sounded them out on what we were hearing and they denied it and said that there was nothing like that in the works’.’
Chief Agukwe told Vanguard at the end of the meeting hosted by the Orlu Political Consultative Assembly. “Nevertheless, we yet warned them of the consequences of harbouring such a plot not only in the zone, but also for their own political interests and at the end of the meeting they all agreed with one voice,’’ he further said.
Vanguard nevertheless gathered that the political development may have been provoked by the result of the recent party primaries and the consequences for some of the interest groups who lost out.
Sources present at the meeting disclosed that when the issue of the party primaries was raised at the meeting with the legislators that political associates of the Governor were said to have countered by claiming the Governor’s innocence in the high level of political atrophy among elected public officers from the State. Chief Agukwe nevertheless distanced Senator Nzeribe who himself lost out from the party primaries from the alleged plot. According to him, Senator Nzeribe had been completely overwhelmed.
“Nzeribe is down and out and does not have anybody, in fact there is no trace of his involvement if there was anything at all. We have finished with Senator Nzeribe and he does not have the capacity to raise the kind of thing you are talking about,’’ Chief Agukwe reiterated.
Senator Nzeribe had until recently been spearheading efforts from the National Assembly to unsettle the Imo State Governor through his efforts to get the Senate and security agencies to investigate the finances of the Imo State government.
on that. i will also consider drafting an article on that that will be based on one my saying here - Enemies in brothers Skin which i will be sent to Ohaneze and news media- i mean we need to find Solution even if that means excluding these people in strategic igbo meetings afterall the Bible says if any Part of your body will make you to go to Hell, ..just cut it off!. a clear warning needs to be sent to Communities that make up the present Imo state, to act punitively on the ubiquitous sons and daughters of theirs thats have Perfected in the Art of Democracy Truncation,Saboteurs, evils, and non-igbos way of life or we will declare them all Outcast "OSU"! ...........................................
Orji Kalu and Ndi-imo! and ndi-Abia
biafra and CSE and co, you see one thing that still amazes me, is anytime an emotional Insult and abuses of all kinds is heaped on OUK anywere in internet including BNW, those behind it are all Imo indigens!. now the questions: -does you imo-guys regards abia state as your colony or what?, ok bearing in mind as already proving -most imo indigens of today are common free Slave or people whose mind and will to fight for freedom is under Captivity or remotely controlled. how come, that they abadon their primary battle of ridding their State and ofcourse their Mind of their Captors like ararume this, iwuanyanwu that, Nzeribe this&that, udenwa hip, etc, only to come to preocuppy themselves always with faraway Abia and Kalu always!???? - does it mean that imonites like Biafra, and cse love us - the great Abians- more that ourselves???!!!! or hate themselves more that they hate us Abians?
- since 1999, gov Kalu has made his Cabinet pan igbo, by appointing among others Imo idigens in his Cabinet.the first of it Kind in the History!. this is for me a great contribution to igbo unity. even in the ministry, were Abians in the Old imo state are being dehumanised, brutalised, manhadled , robbed and chased out by greedy ndi-imo, who love to reap were they did not sow- yes Abians built those state ministries! Orji Kalu did not retalliert, even when over 200 brutalised and terrorise abians came to protest to him over the evil and criminal treatment metted on them and their Families by greedy udenwa led imo state. as Jobs were created for our ilegally sacked people, like the biblical -paying evil with good, Orji Kalu appoints more imonites in abia . So why do imonites and their Coward rulers always love to throw their weak, febble and 419 punches on a man that show them Love??! ................................ why?.... why?.....why?.....
The CSEs from Imo State who thought before now that they have monopoly on how to tear people whom they are not even qualified to be their houseboy in real life apart have finally discovered to their chargrin that everyone can hit and HIT REAL HARD.
Amazingly, CSE who is on record to have severally gone into fistcuffs with Obasanjo's errand, aka, 'MeBiafran' over who comes from Aro-ndizuogu or not is now disowning his village of origin!
Very soon the character who calls himself 'MeBiafran' would soon re-appear to also deny that he didn't claim ON THIS BOARD that he comes from Daniel Kanu's Aro-ndizuogu; even though my investigations has revealed that the bobo, MeBiafran, comes from Nkwerre and NOT Aro-ndizuogu as he lied on this board.
ANOTHER REASON WHY NO ONE SHOULD BELIEVE NOR TAKE SERIOUSLY WHAT THE CHALARTANS WHO BETRIDE THIS BOARD WRITES HERE.
Now On the subject matter.
Well, if CSE thinks Nwa Aro and co are "stupid" for following the WARRIOR FROM ABIA STATE, Orji Kalu, and are "twisting history" as CSE would want those who ignorant of Igbo/Nigerian history to believe when i CORRECTLY and FACTUALLY stated that his brothers from Imo State, namely, Nzeribe and Kanu were in the vanguard of those who brought Nigeria to its present state of political and economic malaise, the writer below has vindicated Nwa Aro on those scores.
Or is the writer also "stupid" and "twisting history" when he stated inter alia;
Quote: ---------------- "It was the love of money that pushed Arthur Nzeribe to use the infamous ABN and late Justice Bassey Ikpeme in criminal connivance with IBB to scuttle the June 12 presidential election convincingly won by late Chief MKO Abiola (may his generous soul rest in peace)....It was the love of money that brought out the youthful worst in the uncouth Daniel Kanu to sell his soul to Abacha while leading the YEAA in the hey days of the one-man demented despotic bulldozer."
CSE and co, you guys on BNW could apply as much damage control as mush as you could, unfortunately, the EMBARRASSMENT and SHAME which you people from Imo State brought on yourselves cannot be restricted to this Imo-dominated and fact-twisting BNW board anymore.
So, if following every Nigerian tyrant who usurps power in Nigeria like bees and blowing his/her trumpet as your people of Imo State are historically reknowned to have done and are still doing is "funny" to you, be informed that it is NOT so with the Nwa Aros from Abia State nor to other Igbos and Nigerians.
And here is why:

THE PROBLEM WITH THE IGBOS
Permit me to begin this treatise, an academic exercise that represents one of my hobbies aside travelling and reading, by declaring unequivocally that I am from the east, a full-blooded Igboman from Anambra extraction. I was born and bred in a sleepy town kilometers away from Onitsha, a burstling city across the River Niger where the raw quest for money/wealth is generally seen as a determining factor of one's manhood. The Igbos generally are known primarily as a very harworking and brutally ambitious race, one whose industrious resolve and spirit of survival are hard to break.
The average Igboman knows how to make money by hook or by crook and how to make best use of it when acquired. Sometimes the issues of the day as they concern money boil over and are settled with blood and iron, apology to late Otto Von Bismarck, the former German world war 1 leader.
Get it right respected reader before we proceed further. I am not in any way insinuating that my people do not like education or appreciate it's priceless values, far from that. After all the first university in Nigeria was establised in Nsukka.
Again 'Ndigbo' has produced intellectual giants like Chinua Achebe, Cyprian Ekwensi, Arthur Nwankwo, Chinweizu and lately Governor Chimaroke Nnamani whose eloquence makes me proud indeed. Great political leaders like the late Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, Biafran hero Dim Emeka Ojukwu, Dr Alex Ekwueme and Chief Emeka Anyaoku are from Igboland. What is more, the Obasanjo administration has had distinguished Igbo amazons like Dora Akinyuli, the NAFDAC boss, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Kema Chikwe, Prof. Joy Ogwu and Oby Ezekwesili contributing their quotas.
And the first female executive governor ever in Nigeria has been produced in Anambra State in the person of Dame Virgy Etiaba. Never mind the circumstances that led to her emergence. With these and more one is bound to conclude that Igbos are not only excelling in the field of commerce but also in other areas of human endeavour--all tailored towards assisting the growth of the Nigerian project. Without sounding immodest or accused unduely of ethnic jingoism let me state emphatically that the Igbos rank among the best brains in every sphere of human endeavour in Nigeria and elsewhere across the Atlantic.
In the course of pursuing an academic excellence (in deference/adherence to James Madison, the late former American President who made me to understand early enough in life that "education will forever govern ignorance and it behoves on the privileged governors to exercise this noble acquisition with sobriety) I had been to Lagos, Jos, Kano, PH, Warri, Ibadan and Ilorin. But in these engaging 'Wa-zo-bia' trips outside Benin City, my academic homebase, I had never come across a stronger ethnic nationality like the Igbos whose deadly passion and religious interest in wealth and it's acquisition surpasses even the urge to worship God or Allah.
The late Guatemalan catholic bishop stoned to death for his principled consistent stand against the horrors of war and misrule in his country wrote a book captioned "Never Again" in which he postulated that "truth sometimes hurts but it remains a healthy and liberating act". The truth therefore must be told here no matter whose ox is gored. Telling the truth in my reckoning against mounting odds constitutes part of our duty here on earth to the glory of our Creator.
For decades now the Igbos have had to deal with naked neglect and marginalisation by the successive powers-that-be because of the failed Biafran project (or so it seems) and it's dashed hopes and dreams; we have had to bear the brunt that failure brings, that is why development in the rural areas and even towns and cities are assured by the people themselves in the absence of genuine help by the authorities of state. The Imo Airport is a classical case in point. Abandoned federal projects abound everywhere especially in the east.
Yet the problem with us, the Igbos, apart from the foregoing, stems from certain fundamental characteristics or factors which I am going to analyse here. To start with, the Igbos by nature abhors the idea of king or kingdom. The average Igboman recognises communal or family governance more than a broad-based one. The family circle plays a major role in the way and manner (s)he is brought up and behaves in the broader perspective.
Leadership therefore behoves on the elders in a communal or family setting devoid of conventional paraphernalia. "Igbo Ama Eze" is a popular saying in Igboland which literally means "Igbos do not know a king". In some communities half-educated or outright illiterates apply common sense and natural wisdom to lead their subjects. Secondly, the problem of poverty in the hinterland and how to conquer same is seen as a tall challenge and abiding duty.
That is why some men and women go to any lenght (419, drug running, prostitution, money rituals, secret society, armed robbery etc) to break even. Breaking away thus from the pangs of poverty and liberating one's people from it's excruciating dehumanising effects becomes synonymous with war and victory. The war against indigence therefore encourages all sorts of (mis)adventues in the religious quest for positive results. In a land where richness (no matter the source) determines how successful you are in life and the way society recognises you nothing short is expected but outright triumph. Agressive manhunt for materialism becomes the order of the day.
Thirdly the relationship existing between the 'haves' and 'have-nots' is like the relationship between the master and the slave. If you have money in Igboland you are the equivalent of a king and if you are poor then you are no more than a glorified slave. The word or advice of the 'king', the well-to-do is wisdom while that of the victim of poverty is seen as worthless. It is a perfect setting where everyone knows the status or class he/she belongs and nothing must be done by the 'slave' to challenge any action of the rich. Rather in some cases the rich imposes certain things and decides how things should be run.
The last element against the Igbo race is the lust/love of money. The Holy Bible makes the Christendom, which majority of Igbos profess to, understand without mincing words that money answereth all things but the love of same is the root of all evil (1 Timothy 6:10, Eccelst 10:19). The root of all evil Nigerian in broader perspectives is money and that is the crux of the matter.
It was the love of money that pushed Arthur Nzeribe to use the infamous ABN and late Justice Bassey Ikpeme in criminal connivance with IBB to scuttle the June 12 presidential election convincingly won by late Chief MKO Abiola (may his generous soul rest in peace). It was the love of money that made the late Clement Akpamgbo, Walter Ofonagoro and Uche Chukwumerije to defend the indefensible while serving the Babangida/Abacha dictatorships in various capacities.
Even today Frank Nweke, the Information Minister is doing the same cannon fodding job without qualms. The Igbos like every other Nigerians love power and it's apurtenances. It was the love of money that brought out the youthful worst in the uncouth Daniel Kanu to sell his soul to Abacha while leading the YEAA in the hey days of the one-man demented despotic bulldozer. It was the love of money that made Emeka Offor and Chris Uba the godfathers of Anambra politics hiring and firing as it were those governors like Mbadinuju and Ngige who dared to challenge the unwritten oral accord that guaranteed steady flow of state resources into the pockets of these conscienceless moneybags. What's more, it was the love of money that led to the fall of Peter Obi as governor of Anambra state. It was the love of money that provoked the 'Otokoto' horrible tale of murder and rutuals involving the high and mighty in Owerri and it's environs. The Okija evil shrine was established to service the growing apetite for money. Orji Uzor Kalu or his mother can explain better here since he allegedly took his commissioners and staff there!
The love of money has steadily turned the Igboland into a vast empire where money is the undisputed king. Those who made money approach and heavily pay local and international musicians like 'Morroco', Oliver De Coque or Osita Osadebe for praise-singing songs.
I make bold to conclude by saying that education and emancipation of the masses more than the unbriddled ego and ruthless attitude towards wealth and it's acquisition are the prerequisite for rediscovery and recovery. The future of the Igbo dynamic society is indeed bright and that future in all intents and purposes is NOW. ________________________
While we Abians can PROUDLY say that all those from our part of Igbo land, like Chukwumerije, whom the write used in his commentary to describe us as "money lovers" have been brought to book one way or the other, while others have had a rebirth as in the case of Orji Kalu, the million dollar question which you Imonites CANNOT RUN AWAY FROM is: WHAT HAS THE PEOPLE OF IMO STATE DONE TO SANCTION OR REPRIMAND THE LIKES OF ARTHUR NZERIBE, WALTER OFONAGRO, DANIEL KANU AND OTHERS FROM YOUR STATE WHO ALSO BETRAYED THE NIGERIAN PEOPLE?
It is only when you or anyone on this board provide CONVINCING answers to the above question would the lingering COLLECTIVE GUILT which those mentioned above and others like them brought upon you and your once progressive state could be quashed and erased from Nigerian history books.
Over to you...

Buhari, Kalu, Tinubu meet on April polls
By Kenneth Ehigiator Monday, January 8, 2007
LAGOS — Presidential flagbearer of the All Nigeria People’s Party (ANPP), General Muhammadu Buhari; his counterpart in the Progressive People’s Alliance (PPA), Governor Orji Kalu of Abia State and chieftain of the Action Congress (AC), Governor Bola Tinubu of Lagos State, met in Lagos, yesterday, with the aim of forming a formidable alliance to wrest power from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). Although details of the meeting held at the Abia State Government Lodge, Victoria Island, Lagos, were sketchy at press time, sources said it was convened to see how the three parties could work together to produce Nigeria’s next president.
Gen. Buhari also met with representatives of some of the parties that adopted him as their flagbearer. This included the Olu Falae-led DPA. Governor Kalu who, in an interview at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport on his way to Umuahia, denied knowledge of any such meeting, described PPA as a strong force in the alliance that would emerge from the interaction among the three parties.
He said: “We are very strong in the alliance. What PPA is bringing on the table is stability and we are bringing a whole region inside Nigeria on the table and it’s a lot more than anything anybody can bring. “We are the most beautiful bride in the alliance. What we want is the stability of the Nigerian economy; stability of the political system and moving Nigeria forward,” he said. Kalu had, some weeks ago, told newsmen that he would be willing and ready to contest with General Muhammadu Buhari as running mate in the presidential elections, provided his people were in support.
He said his government would give hope to Nigerians who, according to him, had been denied of petroleum products during a period as critical as Christmas season. On the verification of candidates by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Governor Kalu warned that the commission had no right to disqualify anybody, saying any attempt to do that could truncate democracy. “INEC has no right whatsoever to disqualify anybody. Disqualification is on party basis. Only the parties can disqualify anybody. I am very sure opposition will be weeded out unless they want to stop democracy,” said Kalu, adding that PPA would also be ready to work with the Labour Party to make life better for Nigerian workers.
He said the support he was having from overseas towards his presidential ambition followed his attachment tothe rule of law and being a stickler for transparency and accountability. ___________________

Actually brother CSE,you might be right with all you said but the fact remains that as the Northerns want the power back and will do anything to get is back no matter who wears the crown for them so also is every other power hungry tribe.
Some os us who identify themselves as Nigerians and others who do so as Biafrans knows exactly what i mean because we the South South,South East and Esat central are been marginalized in every way so if power rotation will solve our problem then let be it,i give Orji Uzor Kalu my sopport because he is a Biafran.
If he has no knowledge of management especially public funs as you mentioned,i believe he will also have less knowledge of embazzling public fund,if he lacks the ability of Job creation,i believe he will lack the ability of owing civil servants, these two attributes now makes him more elible than Buhari and the rest of the Presidential aspirants.
George Bush had no Presidential knowledge then but today he is a force to reckon so who the cap fit let him where it.
Bravo to this young Outstanding man....Dr.Orji Uzor Kalu.
I rescently wrote this short poem in honor of the Head.....The titel is Uzor.
Man to Man is so unfair I really know who to trust I trust my God And i trust myself So when i need it He always give it to me If Uzor is what i need I believe he will give it to me
So
I can live like others I can learn like others I can work like others for 37years they marginalized us But Uzor will conquer them
So
Vote for him He is here to save the lost Uzor Uzor Uzor Orji Kalu Wear the crown of victory I will stand by your side This cap fit you well
Uzor Uzor Uzor Orji Kalu 2007 is your year.

Engaging in a productive public debate requires a certain level of neurocognitive ability which Nwa Aro lacks. For example, his inability to abstract means he carefully avoids debating the politics or economics of Kalu's campaign. In addition, his gross oversimplification of issues means he can only really discuss beer parlour politics like when Zik outwitted the mammy water. His total lack of insight into his obvious cognitive deficits makes him a laughing stock among the discerning; yet that is what gives him the drunken man's confidence to declare victory in a debate he has tried so hard not to have.

Nwanne, thanks not only for the Poem, but also for this clear Facts. you see, it is clear fact that since Ndigbo was force out of the core of nigerians Politic mostly after the Biafran War, Nigeria becomes and still Remains a shadow of itself. nigeria have had a yoruba and Hausa origins for now and i believe that our worst will do better than thier bests, therefore if a worst yoruba like Obasanjo could be given a chance to govern nigeria, why not an igbo Man-- even if it is our worst, since he or she could still deliver more to nigerians than the others best. ..............

Someone who should know better, Orji Kalu's running mate leds credence to what the Nwa Aros have been saying all along: That Dr. Orji Kalu is the ONLY Igbo with the necessary pan-Nigerian agenda and connections to really be taken seriously by Ndigbo and other Nigerians for the job of not only ruling Nigerian but UNITING its divided peoples.
_________________________ Kalu running mate, Mariya Baba, opposes power rotation
From Adamu Abuh, Kano
THE running mate of Chief Orji Uzor Kalu, the presidential candidate of Progressive Peoples Alliance (PPA), Hajiya Mariya Ibrahim Baba, has faulted the plans of some political parties to rotate the Presidency between the North and South.
Mrs. Baba said that instead of resorting to such undemocratic arrangements, emphasis should be placed on picking the most credible person from any part of the country.
According to her: " Nigeria belongs to God. It doesn't belong to any individual; it doesn’t belong to any part of the country whether North, West, South, or East. It belongs to all of us and God chooses leaders Himself and that is it.
"All we need to do is for us to choose good leaders with the fear of God in them and the one that would touch the lives of Nigerians."
She noted: Rotational Presidency was not important and it shouldn't come up at all. If you go by my background as I said earlier on, you can’t change a person overnight. I am who I am already and it would be very difficult to change me now.
"I was born in the barracks. I feel like a true Nigerian and not Hausa Fulani, or Yoruba-Hausa. I am a Nigerian and that is how my parents brought me up and I stand by that. In life, generally speaking, we are all blessed differently. If you take a family of 10, the husband, wife and children, you can't tell God that I want the first child to be the breadwinner. Then after awhile, you tell God it is the turn of number two now.
"It is not done that way. God gives you these children without consulting you. So it is His own ways that He chooses who to bless as He wishes. So this issue of rotational Presidency in my view is wrong. I believe in destiny. Whatever God has sanctioned, no human being can change it," she said. She described Kalu who is the incumbent governor of Abia State as the ideal person to steer the ship of the country after the tenure of President Olusegun Obasanjo.
The politician said that she believed that Kalu is a man of God, which she described as a very important factor. She further described Kalu as a humble, down to earth person, who relates with people from different backgrounds and that is what makes a person. ____________________

Need I add more.
Need I tell the nay-sayers that NO ONE OR GROUP could stop Orji Kalu and his ARO-ROCK BOUND TRAIN! So to the CSEs of BNW, I say once again; you should quite whinning and better get ready to start addressing Dr. Orji Kalu as: HIS EXCELLENCY PRESIDENT ORJI KALU OF NIGERIA as from April 2007.

That is precisely the problem; puffing about to the chants of 'his excellency' when there is nothing excellent happening. Orji Kalu is already "his excellency", the governor of Abia State and there is not much to show for it.
If you believe the nigeria census trends, most of the majority Igbo States are among the richest in the country. You can bet your bottom dollar it has all to do with the efforts of people like me and you paying privately for education, health and social welfare provision. Does it not strike you as odd that the richest states happen to have the worst roads and other capital infrastructure? Yet the simple explanation is that the people who have governed/governing these states including Abia state don't understand their role. They hardly understand that the states should be regarded as no more than small councils with the sole responsbility of looking after roads, removing rubbish and perhaps investing in energy provision. In reality, the so called governors use the meagre budgets to hire all manners of special assistants and commissioners to sing their praise. Ironically, Orji Kalu even employs yorubas and Hausas as special assistants and pay them with Abia State money to prove how pan nigerian he is. I don't need to tell you how meaningless such a gesture is. I am all for an Igbo president, even for Orji Kalu, but please can you tell me what his economic plans are?

Mr Weber, Your ignorance knows no bounds. I merely stated that employing so many praise singers is a stupid thing to do. Using such frivolous appointments to 'promote' national integration is a more serious act of stupidity. One would have thought you would now discuss the economics and politics of Kalu's campaign but you prefer your rabble rousing garagara. In no time, the chameleon Nwa Aro who once described Kalu as riff raff will jump in. You both have been the biggest disaster on the internet for Kalu. I don't know how he allows two dumb guys to pretend to campaign for him. From where I am watching he looks like a sitting duck because two hopeless time wasters start trouble on his behalf, then fail to defend him properly.
