Ednut dark or light skin, the important thing was that those kids were doing their best to show their Igbo identity.

Ednut,
IG Nwafor has answered your query. I merely reiterate that Igbo children, black or white, are our future. The way things are going, these are the boys who will save Igboland. But what makes you think one Igbo is more Igbo than the other?

Ednut,
You did not listen to the chap doing the narration?
Did you hear him talk about the 'specific' challenges of the children with dual heritage? Hence the focus!

Or are you looking for something else as usual?

How can this selective reflection of ignorance known as inferiority complex be accepted in any Nigerian community? What we are saying is that there are no beautiful Igbo women appreciated by us that produce the same type of pride in children. Shame. Anyway, if Igbo men continue to ignore beautiful Igbo women, do not cry when your brothers in Nigeria appreciate them lovingly.

oh, get a life. The purpose of the picture is the heritage exposed in foreign land, that is the kodak moment, if you will not the color of their skin though noticed but not the focus of attention. Nana get with the 21st Century and the globalization of blood heritage, race matters no more, though to some exent.

I don't even recall saying anything of the sort so I leave that queston to you.

Osetutu,

I actually did. As for looking for something else, I guess yours must be the heat in Sydney messing with your mind.

CSE,

Thanks for your post. I enjoyed watching the video especially where one of them seemed to be saying "Igbo Kwenu".

Their parents have made them dress Igbo. This is good! I hope they are able to speak, read and write Igbo Language too. That is important as well if not more important.

And lets not forget, Finland was one of the Scandanavian countries that helped us during the Biafra-Nigeria War I.

Odili,

The point is that the Kids born by Nigerian women were not invited to be a part of Igbo Kwenu in Finland or are they not part of the Igbo future? What about the girl? Are they also not Igbo? Are they also not part of the future of the Igbo Nation? I have nothing agaist any child; Igbo or not but those who created that video should have been more inclusive of the rest of the Igbo Children.

Ednut,
I sometimes have meetings of professional colleagues only. Other times, I have meetings involving those who test malt whiskey with 100% alcohol. None of those can be considered discriminatory because they have not included every known category of homo sapiens. I have seen countless videos and pictures of Igbo children performing without even a single mixed race Igbo.

CSE,

Your point being that the Igbo in Finland found a way to divide themselves into mixed and pure blooded Igbo? How is that going to be good for the future of Igbonation? How then can we call this type of arrangement a future fot the Igbo?

Ednut,
Ha Ibiakwa. U don come. lol Abeg your argument lacks weight. What difference does it make? They are all Igbos. Now if they were not very light skinned would u know they are bi-racial? Not every mixed person is yellow so u can't always tell who's of mixed heritage. The point is this it doesn't matter. If the majority are of mixed heritage then so be it. All this talk about discrimination makes no sense.
