This is what will happen to you if you continue to let down your guards in your simple-minded euphoria of one-nigeria. If you do not recognize that Igbo/Biafra is in a deadly war with nigeria; that Biafrans must be Totally seperated from nigeria so that Biafra can better protect its territory and citizenry is a task that must be done. Those looking for other solutions are mis-reading the relatiohship between the cultures of nigeria and Igbo/Biafra.
I just watched that disturbing video clip and still don’t understand the gist behind it. Could you please while I dry out my watery eyes?
If government must lawfully kill I believe they ought to do it in a more dignified manner and what I saw was barbarism in action. Pity!!

I'm as speechless as you. This particular incident supposedly happened in the no-holds-bared shooting zone, but I can tell you as one who lived with Biafran Fighting Forces inside C-company Camp along Amala-Etche Road in the Egbema sector that we too saw our own share of captured nigerian vandals. Everyone of them was handled professionally; none was mistreated in any way, let alone executed publicly as we see in this bestial show-of-shame by vandal soldiers. One incident stands out in my mind today. It was another rainly early morning, about 7:00, after a heavy exchange of fire to dislodge the vandals and drive them deeper into Etche rainforest leading up to PH, where they await a hell of Biafran gun fire on ambush. It worked, but the casulties, including the wounded and dead, were coming back in stretches to the camp; as usual, there was no transportation to take anyone to hospital. Among them was a tall, well-fed yoroba vandal sucking like a baby. He was surrounded by boys like us as a curousity and a few Biafran military officials with the authority to handle POW. The first thing he asked for was Garri; it was given to him with salt (sugar was a luxury in the camp) in a a big bowl; he ate until he was full. He was taken by officials behind the lines to prison. There was no cowardly beatings, no tauting, no confrontation with himn, nothing. He was handled professionally.
I am simply shocked at this kind of behavior. I must confess I do not understand why these backward nigerians have no regard for the rule of law, due process or human life; why they are so undisciplined and unwilling to abide by prober rule of human conduct. This is why Biafrans have NO choice but to separate from nigeria. You can't build a responsible, respectable nation of prosperous citizenry with cultures that have such a low bar for civilized conduct and behavior -- the anything goes country.
Hail Biafra, Land of the Rising Sun!!

On Tuesday or Wednesday, I will receive from Dr. Luke Aneke, the author of The Untold Story of the Biafra-Nigeria War, documents that revealed the name of the soldier who executed the Igbo son and the name of the town where it happened. I understand that the army officer was not Yoruba but from Plateau state. The report I am getting says that he was executed by the Nigerian army for being stupid to allow himself to be cut on tape doing what they did everywhere.
More details on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Thanks Rudolf
