Airfares in the Eastern part of Nigeria went up 200-plus percent without warning and yet customer service was not addressed; from 14,000 Naira to 30,000 Naira. The reason for the increase in Airfare according to them is that Demand exceeds the supply and not enough airplanes.

Why the sudden increase in Airfare without warning? Is there anything like congressional investigation in Nigeria to determine if the price increase was not prejudicial against Christians at Christmax time? I am not an economist, but in the business corporate world, one do not increase price during holidays, you reduce prices to attract more customers.
