Teaching English Abroad: All Majors Welcome

$500 Scholarship for early-bird application by March 15, 2004

Application Deadline: March 31, 2004

Basic Requirements for Teaching English in China:
1. Native English speakers;
2. Associate/BA /BS degree or higher (Internships for rising
college seniors also available);
3. Age: 21-65.
You will teach in the same school for at least one academic
year: Starting from Fall Semester: September – July; Starting
from Spring Semester: March – January.

Benefits for you:
1. Free Round-trip international airfare if you teach at the
same school for one academic year.
2. Free furnished-apartments usually on school campus, with a
bathroom, a bedroom, a living room, TV, phone,
air-conditioning/heating, and cooking utensils, etc.
3. Salary: 2,500-6,500 RMB Yuan per month ($324-$844, same
buying power as $2,500-$6,500 in the US)
4. Paid three-week Winter Vacation in January and February.
5. Year-end travel stipends of 2000-4000 RMB Yuan.

Email Your one-page resume by email attachment to
teachers@ChineseCultureCenter.org;

Chinese Culture Center authorized by the China National Bureau
for Foreign Experts will take care of the tedious and
complicated application procedures for you. Please visit our
website for some detailed information.

After the preliminary one-year teaching contract, you may sign
another one-year contract with us to teach in another school or
even in another city/province, so that you may have chances to
see different parts of China, and experience more varieties of
life in China.

If you don’t have a valid passport, please contact your local
main post office to apply for one. When you pass the preliminary
screening, we'll call you for a telephone interview.
