Chemonics International seeks long-term and short-term specialists for an upcoming USAID-funded five-year agribusiness project that will focus on production, processing, and commercialization of legumes and cereals, dairy, rice, aquaculture products, and other commodities. Specialists will be based in Abuja, Kano, and Abia and should have extensive knowledge of the commodity chain approach, with specific agricultural commodity expertise in one or more of the following areas:

* producer association development
* business development services
* processing
* agricultural product marketing
* agricultural technologies
* input delivery
* rural finance

Experience with donors and private sector, strong leadership and networking skills, and ability to lead regional project activities for multiple commodities preferred.

Applicants should have a minimum of:

* A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred
* 5-10 years minimum practical commodity-related experience in Nigeria and/or internationally, including with USAID or other donor-funded activities
