Just like ashes burnt
Was the fate of the dream
Your dream O Biafra
The dream was for liberty
That your sons grow with the
strenght of might
Your soil flow with abundant wealth
And your seasons in unison come
Where are your sons O Biafra
Those whose blood where spilled
On the farthest and closest plains?
I hear them weep in longing for justice
Justice for the gruesome genocide
Which they now say, "Its a pastence"
Is this not the same Biafra?
The Biafra that grand-ma in her story told?
It is, it is
I know you Biafra
You are the galant and your
neighbours trembles
The silent of the Tiger
Is no evidence of weakness to game
Arise O Biafra and fight your course
O Biafra arise
Just like ashes burnt
Believe it or not
Biafra shall rise from the ashes.
