Huge Crowds Greet General Ojukwu in Enugu
Dateline Enugu

Ambrose Ehirim (BNW News)

Huge crowds gathered in Enugu over the weekend to welcome General C. Odumegwu-Ojukwu back from his trip to the US. General Ojukwu returned to BiafraNigeria after a relatively quiet two-week stay in the US where he underwent medical checks.

It will be recalled that Obasanjo regime's SSS outfit briefly interrupted the Ikemba's trip when the outfit confiscated the Ikemba's passport at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, as he was on his way out of BiafraNigeria.

In a message to the International Coalition of Igbo Organizations (ICIO), General Ojukwu thanked the Coalition for its examplary leadership of Nd'Igbo in Diaspora and for the group's successful effort to in combatting Obasanjo and SSS abuse of power in BiafraNigeria.

In a telephone conversation with BNW, the coordinator of the ICIO, Fada Jon Ofoegbu Ukaegbu, expressed appreciation for the bold leadership that General Ojukwu has shown in his service to Nd'Igbo, Biafra, and BiafraNigeria. He commended General Ojukwu for the mature manner in which he handled the SSS provocation.

Addendum:

In a wonderful show of patriotism, General Ojukwu expressed his ardent love for the entire Ndi Igbo for their support and care for him. In his own words, the Ikemba said: "Onye Igbo obuna bu nwanne m". This shows that the Ikemba is for all Igbos without regard for their political, religious and social affiliations. He is a man of the people.
Long live Ikemba!!!

Fada Jon

I continue to pray to God to keep Ikemba in planet a little longer. Without Ikemba, ndi Igbo will be lost. I don't see any other person alive today whom ndi Igbo can rally around. My Biggest fear is when Ikemba is gone, Igbo solidarity will be a thing of the past. The current day juads parading in Igbo land makes me sick to my stomach.

Iwuanyanwu: will sleep with his own mother if you flash few naira in his face.

Nzeribe: only care for bags of Ghana must go stuffed with naira.

Ekwueme: Is washed up used and dumped by Nigeria.

Okadigbo had guts and flair but no meat, but they killed him.

Jim Nwobodo will sale his soul to Awusa.

All the Southestern Governors are all 419ers.

WIC and Ohanaeze are the most useless organization in the world.

Thank God that Ikemba himself have acknowledged the good work ICIO (International coalition of Igbo Organization) is doing. May with ICIO and Igbo National Assembly, we can make some head way.

Speak for your self buddy. The man didn't contribute to my going to America or did he? Only one man saw to it that my childhood dreams came through and his name is not Ikemba.

Are you sure your childhood dreams have come true or did you have such low expectations? Even worse is the man who sent you out here truly pleased with the outcome of his efforts and sacrifice? You need to think hard before you say some of the ignorant things you splash on the board. You are way past the age Ikemba was when he handled responsibility you can only dream of being saddled with. Grow up.

Since you want to be atturu ekpe. Tell me another socalled Igbo leader who is alive today, who can send out a call from Asaba to Port Harcourt and all Igbo will listen. Take for example since the creation of the States, if somebody from Enugu state come out, I tell you many in Anambra will not listen to him, Imo will not, Abia will not, Eboyi Asaba River state will not. But Ojukwu can travel to any of these State nobody will be left in the house all will come out to meet him.

You are not the only one who have parents who send them to school and made it possible for you to be in America. That is not my point, hour about uplifting our people to reach their potential.
