The case was not about Justice but Humiliation. However, Mike will never be the same. This is a vindication of all times from the past to the present. Mike should now know this is a litigicious nation.

The verdict is a stinging rebuke of the prosecution and the the accuser of Jackson:
quote:Charges Against Michael Jackson

Count 10: Administering an intoxicating agent to assist in the commission of a felony (child molestation) between 20 February and 12 March 2003. NOT GUILTY.
The jury was given permission to reduce one charge if they felt unable to reach a guilty verdict.
Judge Rodney Melville said they could decide Mr Jackson gave teenager Gavin Arvizo alcohol but did not abuse him, a lesser charge with a penalty of up to a year in prison.
However, the jury acquitted the singer on all counts.

Michael Jackson's acquittal even though he molested kids and served them alcohol shows you how money talks in America. If he was an ordinary man like you, he would be spending a long time in jail. There was no humiliation, he did it and his fame and money saved him. Look at OJ, look at Blake.

Accusation is no deed and you must have evidence for a guilty verdict.
Yvette, consider some of these facts before your judgement.
Since 1980s. no one has come forward to say that he had sex with Micheal Jackson. Or Micheal jackson was his lover or a homosexual..none.
None of his accusers has ever accused him of having sex with them but just simply touching.
No man gets his kick only by touching for more than 20 years. At one time he is bound to stretch the habit to more than simple touching.
Look at the accusers and the parents. Is it about money or what. What man will come to national television and say it is ok to share his bed with young children? It shows you his level of innocence.
Remember the first child to spent days with Mike in his Ranche was Ryan [White] He was the first child to be diagnosed with aids and the first known child to die of aids.
No child molester will cry after a verdict, most pedophiles will smile after the verdict....I gotcha.
The media will like to bury Mike because of his purchase of the Beatles Cataloq worth about 1 billion dollars. There are so many inconsistencies that you have to consider before you come to a conclusion about Mike. The accusation against Mike is no brianer, it is about money and humiliation.
Copy that.

You got me here, haven't you been listening to your AM radio talking heads who are killing over each other to label the jury a bunch of ignorant idiots.

Bull. A pedophile will always be a pedophile. I guarantee you he's gonna do it again. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy, and I love the afro-wearing Off The Wall Mike and not the Mike hiding behind sunglasses, getting nose jobs, adopting animals and doing weird stuff.
The Peter Pan needs to grow up. Grow up, Mike!

I believe the jury gave michael the benefit of doubt because the mother of the abused child is to blame just as much or more than michael. After all the kid was there with here permision and knowledge, and the kisleeping with jackson on the same bed with her permision. No doubt michael abused the kid it was all with the mothers consent, so why blame michael really? The mother is just as much to blame. Had she never heard of previous micael pedophile cases settled out of court? what did she think michael would be doing with her son. Looks like she knew what michael was up to but speculated on a nice juicy settlement, in other words, she prostituted her son. She should go to jail first before michael. Guess the jury saw it that way too.

I remember the first song Michael Jackson recorded with Motown Records. I was a pre-teen then and this person's talent was so phonomenally mesmerizing that I(and all my friends, I think) wished that I was Michael Jackson...Oh how times and feelings change!
Even more than his apparent pedophilia, Michael has come to symbolize all that is skewed and aberrational for persons of African descent living in a society dominated by European standards of beauty and culture. Of course I am speaking of his metamorphasis from being thoroughly African-American to what he is now, a modern-day Frankenstein modelled upon strictly European standards of beauty. To say he and his efforts to appear white is pathetic, is to be kind. Freak is a more common term used by African-americans when discussing him. As if he didn't have enough problems with his identity, he must now brazenly court the favor of children prostituted by their parents.
I have no sympathy for Michael Jackson. He is the worst of traitors. The African-american community will be better off, I think, if we never see or hear of him again. As he has forgotten us, and forsaken us, for those he loved, let him remain with his lovers, who, as long as he has money, will pander to his blindness and idiocy, until they have milked him dry and put him in prison. Only then will he realize that no matter how straight his hair, or how white he bleaches his skin, his nightmare of being black will never go away. What an icon of shame this once wonderful son has become to himself and to us! I guess it's true that money isn't everthing.
