SSS Director Hails Ngige From Charles Onyekamuo in Awka, 07.19.2005
Director of State Security Services (SSS) in Anambra State, Mr. Ibrahim Audu, yesterday in Nnewi commended Governor Chris Ngige for his quick response to security advice and co-operation with the security agencies in the state. Audu, who spoke at a seminar organised by the state SSS Directorate on “Security Awareness and Consciousness” for local government area chairmen and councillors in the state, urged the chairmen and councillors to be at alert and be conscious of the security of their immediate environment. Anambra state, he said, is blessed with both human and material resources, which have in turn become a blessing to the country, given the various achievements of the state’s sons and daughters in commerce and politics, but that the contributions of these Anambra indigenes have become paradoxical as such successes have equally become problematic. Even though the entire commercial activities in the country are dominated by Anambra people whom he said control about 80 per cent, Audu disparaged them for being complacent in the face of forces of insecurity pervading their environment. He singled out members of Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) as a potent security threat to the commercial city of Onitsha, and misrepresentation of the Igbo quality.

Ibrahim Audu, Your praise for Dr Ngige is nothing but same manipulation of the entire Igbo nation by those you represent in Anambra. Igbos have been kept down long enough by this same game plan. Is this not same Ngige the Federal government and their thugs almost killed few months ago?
Your divide and rule tactics of instigating one group against another is not going to fly within the Igbo nation. Take your praises to the marines. The conspiracy against Ndi-Igbo in nigeria is written all over, and we know this. Your theory of not entrusting the highest office in nigeria to the Igbos is part of the consipracy against Igbos by past and present so-called leaders.
The few Igbos who are now serving in OBJ's government, have infused a new lease of life in both the economic and political life of this adminstration in Nigeria. This same way things will turn around for Nigerians the day Igbos are entrusted with the highest office in nigeria. Not the current situation where the blind has been leading for the past forty years.
The Anambra people know who their brothers and sister are, and no instigation will take this away. Igbos are one people and are in this mess called nigeria together, but will be free soon someday.
