The governor of Imo State, Chief Achike Udenwa, has indicated that Nigeria's independence day celebration is absolute nonsense, a silly exercise designed for losers. Udenwa who shunned this year's celebrations in Nigeria is spending his time istead at the Mayflower Hotel (Room 1127) in Washington DC.

According to sources close to the governor, Udenwa does not want what is happening to Atiku Abubakar or Orji Uzor Kalu to happen to him over his illegal real estate deals in the US and around the world. Therefore, Udenwa is using the October 1st holiday to meet with his real estate agents and his right hand man in Washington, Mr. Mike Ibe, to look for ways to cover his tracks.

As a one-Nigerianist, Udenwa should have stayed and celebrated the Independence day in Nigeria.
