At 6:00 p.m. yesterday, October 25, 2005 the Nigerian Security operatives who dressed in disguise as youth corpers arrested Ralph Uwazuruike in front of his home residence at Okwe in Imo State. Unlawful arrests and intimidation will strengthen instead of weaken the aggitation by MASSOB. The right to Self Determination can never be an offence.

For Biafra to succeed there needs to be important people who need to win the sympathy of USA, Britain, USA, China and the rest of others.,France,Germany,

Struggling in internally will bring nothing.Biafra have a very good case especially now there is terrorists .

I suggest that you people should focus more on international power muzzling and get to Erieteria so as to get absolute knowledge of how the succeeded.

I want Biafra as a nation, and only when you all apply this strategy can there be head way.

Herr (Mr.) Okenwa:

Herzlich Wilkommen!

You will surely understand what I wrote above if indeed you live in Deutshland.
Please dont get offended, because I didn't say so because I doubt you do. Rather, it is to make sure people who have obviously never stepped their feet on Germany soil dont come here in future to lie and make bogus claims that they "live" in Germany.

On the subject matter, thanks for adding weight to what I have been hammering into the ears of the confused neoBiafrans of late; to the effect that it is only when the western world is properly sold the balkanization idea, and they buy to it without reservations will anyone dying for "Biafran cause" or any other seperatist cause in Nigeria will be noticed, taken seriously and immortalzed locally and internationally.

A visit to my thread on the main forum entitled 'Ojukwu's old Vs Uwazuruike's new Biafra: Has any lesson been learnt?' will show you how I took out time to analyse the whole Biafra actualization effort and came to the conclusion that nothing will ever come out of it if those behind it keep playing the local champions as they do presently.
Not only that, I even went ahead to lay out point-by-point what the neoBiafrans MUST do FIRSTLY before embarking on what is by all intent and purposes presently a SUICIDE MISSION.

Despite the fact that I was called all sort of names for braving to say what is the TRUTH, and nothing but the truth, events like this whereby Uwazuruike is arrested and no one in the international community makes a statement for his release, or any comment atal, shows that I was not only right but was also patriotic in my questioning of the modus operandi of the home-based and overseas-based pro-Biafra movements.

And untill those folks listen to the VOICE OF WISDOM from within and without Igbo people that tells them the TRUTH and review their strategy, the Biafra of territory adventure will remain the JOKE that it is today.

Unfortunately, I am not one of those Igbos who send people to their untimely death and turn around to organize a "befiting" burial or shed the most tears for them. On the contrary, my duty as an IGBO PATRIOT is to pre-warn my fellow compatriots and avert danger before it occurs; that is what I have been doing of late, and that is what I will continue to do in the future. And, I encourage every Igbo to do same as you courageously did above.

May God bless those like you who dare speak the BITTER TRUTH.

Noch ein mal, hertlich Wilkommen zu Biafra Nigeria World messageboard (aka, BNW)!!

Igbo youths flay arrest, trial of MASSOB leader

Chukwudi Achife,Enugu

More Igbo groups have joined in the wide condemnation of the arrest and trial of the leader of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Chief Ralph Uwazuruike.

The MASSOB leader was surreptitiously picked up at his country home in Okwe, Imo State, last week by operatives of the state security services and is now facing treason charges at an Abuja High Court along with six of his followers.

The latest attack on the action came from the World Igbo Youth Council (WIYC) which in a statement made available to Saturday Champion said it was done in disrespect to the rule of law. But the WIYC in a statement signed by the duo of Prince Okey Onuakalusi, secretary-general and Barrister Ihediwa Chimee, head legal unit, said that the "ignominious abduction;" of the MASSOB leader was a contravention of a valid court order issued by a court of competent jurisdiction.

An Owerri High Court had early this year restrained the SSS from arresting or intimidating Uwazuruike pending the determination of a substantive suit in that respect and ordered the MASSOB leader to stop making further statements and press conferences. The case was billed to come up the week Uwazurike was arrested and flown to Abuja where he is now standing trial

"We observe with chagrin the unwholesome attitude of the present regime and its agencies in disrespecting court orders validly made," the statement said, adding, "We condemn in its entirety the manner with which the rule of law is abused in Nigeria." The group therefore called on the Federal Government to respect the rule of law and release Uwazuruike ‘to acquit itself of complicity" in trampling on the judicial system. WIYC also upbraided the SSS operatives for the "irrational method" of disguising in the uniform of NYSC in order to effect the "abduction " of Uwazuruike.

It noted that the recourse by security agents to disguise as youth corpers could put corps members at great risk in their host communities, adding that ‘the authors of that directive should be disciplined as it is crude and unintelligent." The WIYC advised the Federal Government to drop its present posture of hitting ethnic organisations with sledgehammer by arresting and prosecuting their leaders, saying that such high handedness would be counterproductive. Rather it said the best approach was for government to release all the arrested leaders of ethnic organisations and engage them in constructive dialogue.

On the violence that erupted in Onitsha during a MASSOB confrontation with the police, which led to attack on the residence of late Nnamdi Azikiwe, WIYC said that the violence was antithetical to the philosophy of MASSOB.
