PRESS RELEASE – BIOLOGICAL WARFARE ON BIAFRALAND The attention of MASSOB, Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, since after mass killings of Igbos and other Biafrans in Maiduguri, Bauchi, Katsina and other cities in the North has been drawn to events of a new and more dangerous dimension involving evil plans to annihilate and eliminate Igbos and other Southerners, this time through a well- planned chemical/ biological warfare through food poisoning. MASSOB has been reliably informed of incidents in various parts of occupied Biafra and surrounding areas in which people from the North have been caught with deliberately poisoned food items meant for consumption and eventual liquidation of Biafrans in Biafraland. In Onitsha, 11- trailer load of dried fish, popularly called Managala (a local delicacy of Ndigbo) was apprehended as a result of interception of conversation between the suspects, both of them Hausa – Fulanis. A search and tests conducted on the fish showed they were deliberately poisoned. This became obvious when one of the Hausa Fulanis who accompanied the consignment was overheard instructing that fish from that consignment was deliberately poisoned and so, should not be circulated among the Hausa- Fulani population in Onitsha. The principal suspect was promptly arrested and forced to eat the fish. After eating the fish the suspect died instantly. This incident happened, 3rd March, 2006 and was reported to Nigerian Security agents. On 5th.March, 2006 another incident of similar nature happened in Benin. Sugar- cane consignment in a trailer, headed for Igbo / Biafran areas, through Benin, was intercepted when the person who consumed it fell down and died instantly. Also in Port Harcourt, in Biafra’s South, beans and tomotes consumed by some people resulted in their death. This happened on 4th. March, 2006 Carrot in Benin, on the same day, 4th. March, 2006 resulted in the death of some people. <!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--> One characteristic of all these events which makes MASSOB think they are not isolated incidents is the chain in which they happened. Targeted at the Southern Nigerian populations, they happened within three days for maximum effect. Also is the fact that lorry loads of these poisoned items were consigned within three days to maximize the fatality within the shortest possible time before both medical tests and human awareness could result in unraveling the mystery. MASSOB is indeed worried and troubled that its neighbours in a Nigeria Ndigbo had in the past lost lives and limbs to found and develop, could resort to this level of clandestinity. We are indeed shocked that as we preach the separate and independent peaceful existence of Nigeria and Biafra, side by side, as two sovereign, friendly countries of the civilized community, the feudal North that has, up till recently controlled the affairs and economy of Nigeria will endorse a systematic and deliberate extermination of Biafra and Biafrans. We are perplexed that as MASSOB is preaching and following democratic and peaceful methods to actualize Biafra, Nigeria has continued to pursue a harsh programme of repression, brutalization, arrests, imprisonment and now extermination and genocide. This unfortunately re-evokes the grim and fearful memories of the 1963-70 years when Nigeria’s genocidal adventure into Biafraland was thwarted by the brave and courageous Biafran soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the process. MASSOB, as the mainstream apex organization of all pro-Biafran bodies in Biafranland shall not stand bye and watch the actualization of this crime against humanity, committed on its people in this day and age. MASSOB warns of its determination to stop further consignments of food items from the North if such consignments are not henceforth certified fit, wholesome and poison-free by the Agriculture/ Food Agency of Biafra. The danger of this all was seen in 1967 when one man took the whole tribe for a ride, took it to a war and ran away when he lost. You have a new generation holding meetings, strategizing for another confrontation raising alarm when there is no reason for it.....is this a mental problem?

Having read this article, I wondered who this Kesu is and where he was in 1966-70. If he wasn't born then, didn't they tell him how his so loved jailbird Awolowo was freed after his hausa brothers jailed him for planning to overthrown the Tafawa Balewa government by Ojukwu only for him to turn round and stabbed him. But joke apart, if someone had told the communist Russia that in the year 2007, USSR would be no more, they would reasoned like you. You forgot the white British forced us into what is now called Nigeria, where not the Hausas nor Yorubas nor Igbos nor Bins and other ethnic groups has anything in common. From the word go the Hausas has wanted to form their Arewa republic, while the Yorubas wanted their Oduduwa republic while the Igbos wanted their Biafran republic even the Bins wants their Edo republic or the original Republic of Benin. Please allow this so-called Niger-Deltans (ijaw) to excite themselves into a state of delusion for making third-class citizens. For-one, the ijaws are not the only people in area. The ijaw master plan is to dominate all the other tribes in that south-south geographic location. take a look at what the ijaws trying to acomplish in Rivers State is to subjugate those igbo speaking areas like...ikwere, egbema, ndoki, ndoni, elele and etche. One thing that concerns me is we have loads of ethnic groups in the north like the nupes, kanuris, the birroms the kajes, the hausas and the babanza the fulanis yet we never hear them airing their dirty lundries like their eastern neighbours. The Ijaws are against the Okrikas and they in turn are fighing the Bonns not to talk about the Igbo speaking areas. The system of the northerners' divide and rule is working for them, because as long as we keep fighing each other, no one would boarder them while they lead the country into the ways of destruction which is where Nigeria is heading. After 47 years of independence, there is nothing to show.
