Dave, if you look at Obasonja's policies, you would see that he is not a Yoruba man at all. He just a stooge for the Hausa/fulani. He has the 2 top heads of OPC (Very popular pro-Yoruba group in the South west) arrested on charges of treason. The average Yoruba is not for one Nigeria, and the average Yoruba hates the Hausa.
If you and your fellow Igbos think that Yorubas like Hausas, or that Obasonja is actually a "real" Yoruba, you are very wrong.
As for the defeat of the third term, if the government goes to another illiterate Hausa after OBJ is gone, God help us all.

Ok, now I finally agree, you people are either sick or good comedians! Who in here can speak for yorubas or hausas or for Igbos for that matter? You guys are just expressing mere opinions and the good thing is that your guys lack any real power to effect your opinions. Thank God for that. As between Obasanjo and Ojukwu which should be called an ape? Methink it is Ojukwu. Obasanjo is probably his junior or his mate in the military and who among them has achieved a respectable spot in our nation's history..Obasanjo of course. Ojukwu can live or die with the (dis)honor of an attempt to break up the nation thereby leaving the Igbos in worst situation than he found them prior to 1967. What is more, when the chips were down, he ran, leaving his hapless followers to face the consequences of his action.
So now we have new genreation of Igbos talking about actualization of Biafra! Well, their fathers need to tell them than Biafra was crushed and any attempt to actualize it will be crushed again.

I mean, what good is in a bunch of infants banding together to lie to themselves about that special but elusive Igbo superiority? Oh no, I like the Igbos, they are part of my potentially great country, Nigeria. To build Nigeria, we need all hands. But as for Biafrans...now that is another story. It is not hate, it is setting record straight. Don't run from it, deal with it!

So why is it hard for people to decide whether they want to be Nigerian or not. What are you afraid of, why not you and your Yoruba Obasanjo put it as a referenndum. Again, underneath the call for separate state for Igbos is that all too well known and expressed notion that Igbos are better than their fellow citizens. So they wanted their own country because it is beneath them to share a country with others! You were so blinded by this notion of superiority, you look for your source outside Africa, you liken yourself to Jews! "Igbos are Africa Jews." The truth though is this: Igbos are not better than any other nationalities in Nigeria. Nothing in their history suggests that they are imbued with some supernatural qualities the kind never found in Nigeria. The Calabars have better structure than the Igbos. Administratively, your are shallow. The earlier you get that into your head the better. What is more, you guys can't survive on that landlocked area you call home. You need the rest of the country. Don't kid yourself that you can do without us. You need the south south to get to the outside world. You need access to the sea. You need the market provided by other nationalities. If you ask me, I say go. You have not contributed anything to Nigeria in a positive way. You sell adultrated goods, you import cheap stuff, you dont pay taxes, you cheat your fellow citizens if they venture into business with you. You completely destroy Nigeria image abroad with 419. Your quest for money knows no bounds
In the Northern part of the country you treat your host as if they are subhuman, so when at the slightest provocation, these people descend on you, you act as if you didnt know why. Come now, you are not the only ones in the North but why is it that you suffer the highest casuality? Please dont kid yourself by saying they fear Igbos, that is so tired. You people need to look inward and correct your shortcomings so that you can live with other human beings.
You are not hospitable in your part of the country. You don't like settlers. You wont sell land to settlers yet you complain when your host deal with you as settlers in their midst. You demand to contest election on your host territories and when they refused, "they hate Igbos!"
Even among yourself, you don't get along or trust each other. Anambra man detests Imo man. Imo man has running jokes about Anambra man. To the outside world you dont present united front. Your leaders would sell their birthrights for ego. You worship money. You kill for money.
Oh no, I don't hate Igbos I just detest their attitudes towards others. I detests the way they disrespect their fellow citizens, the way they disregard others' culture and domain, their greed, their shameless tendency to take credit for events over which they have little or no control, their lies to the outside world about the true nature of things in Nigeria and about Nigerians. In fact, no other nationalities exhibit these shortcomings but the Igbos!
So, if the site wants to kick me out, good for them, but while I am here, I will continue to bring you guys to earth, get your heads out of the cloud for a moment, realize that you like your fellow Nigerians are equal.

I noticed that you have refused to deal with the fact statements in the other thread. Sure, just like a Biafran: he is stuck in self praise, fails to see his inabilities, refuses to deal with facts but would beat his chest and congratulate himself with lies, half truth and shameless abuse of historical fact to suit his boastful purpose. It was a pity that Biafra decided to respond Kesu, which in my word is a short form of Ekwensu "the deveil", insult to the Igbos. I wish his family get involve whenever the Hausas goes crazy. If he thinks the killing of the Igbos in the north and west of Nigeria that led to our asking to be let alone was going, I wish whatever tribe he comes from would witness the same faith, and hear someone tell him his relatives dead because they are proud.
