Both Israel and Lebanon have accepted a new UN Resolution calling for a ceasefire. For all practical purposes, this means that Hezbollah has won, and Israel has failed in its sworn objective to crush and destroy Hezbollah. Today, Israel is in retreat and it is afraid to hold even the Lebanese lands that it claims to have over run. It makes one wonder if it was not really the Americans that fought the Six day War and all the other wars that the Jews claimed credit for.

Daud, the conflict isn't over yet and Israel isn't retreating. The objective of Israel was not to destroy Hitzbullah, but to stop Hitzbullah from attacking Israel. The Israeli military action ensured that the world community will now watch the Israeli-Libenese border very closely, to make sure that no armed militia in South Libanon will carry out further criminal acts.

It is therfore unwise of you to praise the day before the evening has emerged.

Really, and you believed so. Why are you speaking from both side of your mouth. In the other of your post you stated Israelis are committing war crime, when they stopped bombing hezbollah hiding in civilian enclaves all of sudden you claimed that hezbollah has came out victorious against israel, which side are you. One mistake israelis keep making is that they felt to realize that seventy percent of wars are fought through the print and electronic media and thirty percent physical. I hate to say this hezbollah has better PR than israelis. Some of this forumites that are opposing the devastation of lebanon and killing of civilians by the israelis bomb doesn't mean we don't love isreal, all we are trying to say, Israel should seperate themselves from the barbarians and go after the leadership when things quiets down.
