Baba Iyabo has within the past hour declared martial law in Ekiti. The governor, his deputy and the legislators have all been suspended.

Plateau, Anambra and Abia may follow.......

There should be no need for Anambra and Abia, the states of emergency is based on lack of security and governance for the people. These two states do not fit the profile of Ekiti, anything else is low down politics.

By way, will someone tell me why the Governors are immuned from criminal prosecution while in the office? Nigeria must change their laws to reflect accountability and responsibility; otherwise this government servants will be stealing until their term is over.
