The National Basketball Association Play-off, no question, is now phenomenal. Think about the greatest players that played the game and you will find out the Lakers of Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant are now the best that ever played the game.
Play-off history has already been made. The sweep in all play-off series speaks for itself now.
So, as this ballgame goes on, Are the Lajkers making history or is it because they have a good coach in Phil Jackson? Jackson is the greatest coach and I pick Lakers to sweep the series in its entirety. It is just no contest.
Let's talk basketball, guys.

I am a basketball freak and I think Lakers do not have a team to compete with. They couldn't have made it this far if it was in the era of Michael Jordan.

Well, Shaquille said he was on a mission: he wants his jersey hanged next to Jerry West and Wilt Chamberlain. Can he accomplish that feat? I don't think so. The season, according to Biafra, is over, though.

I don't think Shaq and his asterisk Lakers would have swept the Spurs if Derek Anderson wasn't injured. I have never been a Laker fan and will never be.

I never liked the Lakers except when they played Bird's Celtics back in them days. I still cannot believe that San Antonio just let them run allover them like that. The same old soft playing San Antonio. They need to send that coach wanna be back to the front office. Enough of his face on my TV. Enough of Kobe's too. I like Shaq and with 76er's and Buck's left, I guess they are going to get their ring. If the Buck's win the east, I will root for them since they have Sam Cassell of Houston Rocket fame with them.

There is no team to play, that's why Shaq and Kobe Bryant is now a big deal.

The franchise and the entire ballgame is becoming a joke. Who would beat Lakers, anyway? With all the game fixings, matchmaking schedulings and price fixings. No question, the game is no longer the same as in the era of Magic Johnson and Larry Bird.

Paul, I agree with you. When Michael Jordan was still active in basketball games, it was sickening to watch other competing team members get penalized for just coming coming within inches of him. Lakers, and basketball, in general used to be fun during Karim Abdul Jaber, Magic Johnson, etc., era. What's going on now, is a joke.

How about the Bucks-76ers game last night? What happened to Allen in making the final shot for Milwaukee? They could have won that game if Allen had made that jump shot in the final seconds.
I still go fo Milwaukee in the series.

Paul: Well, the Milwaukee Bucks won on Friday with the manificent performance of Ray Allen which sends the game back to Philadelphia for Game 7 on June 3, 2001. I pick the Bucks.

Gani: Your prediction was wrong. Sixers won and would meet the Lakers in Game 1 at Staples Center on Wednesday. I pick the Lakers for a sweep.

Six o'clock indeed and the sweep begins in earnest. There is no chance for our own Dikembe Mutombo when it comes to dealing with the Bryant-O'Neal tandem.

Paul: How about those Sixers! Now that a Lakers sweep is out of the question, what is your next prediction? I am starting to feel a soft spot for the underdog 76ers. Who knows? There may yet be a sweep after all. But, I am not predicting anything. I am hoping for a seventh-game final. Won’t that just be great – the almighty Lakers forced to go the duration?

Tunde Onabanjo: Wow! Are you into sports, too? That was the last thing I expected; but I am so glad you have time to look at sporting activities. Well, the Lakers have disappointed all their fans and have driven the bookmakers crazy.
Like you said, there could still be a sweep. But I doubt it.

Amucha is all over the lakers have shaked off the 9 days rust, The only sad things is that we here in LA will not get the opportunity to see another game. NBC and NBA must be crying their eyes out right now hopeing for a Sixers miracle on game five.

How about Jason Kidd-Tim Duncan combination? Lakers will be history if the two should play together.
