Tim Montgomery has just set a new world record in the men's 100 meters dash. After all the build up hype the great British hope, Dwain Chambers, could only watch as Monty braced the tape at 9.78secs..........World record. He broke Maurice Green's 9.79secs record in Athens 1999.

The lady Marian Jones then went on to win the ladies event.

It must be a good day for the yanks.

Another thing, I saw a BiafraNigerian girl called Mercy N, she was doing "hapuru m azu " ie "the rear is mine". She came sixth, and I just said to my self no wonder she is still running for BiafraNigeria.

Incase you're wondering why I'm watching this stuff, I'm trying to shed some unwanted beef. It has been proved that watching and imagining exhilarating actions in your mind produces about the same effect as actually taking part. [Roll Eyes]

MONTY SCORCHES TO VICTORY
