Sorry Chaps that I started late. It is the end of first half and the scores are 0-0 .
On the balance of play, Morrocco has the advantage, they have also had the best chance. Our midfield has not been very good and our strikers have been starved of the ball. We also seem to have a defect on the right defensively.

Team list : 1-Vincent Enyeama; 15-George Abbey, 3-Celestine Babayaro, 5-Isaac Okoronkwo, 2-Joseph Yobo, 14-Seyi Olofinjana, 10-Jay-Jay Okocha, 7-John Utaka, 4-Nwankwo Kanu, 8-Yakubu Ayegbeni, 17-Julius Aghahowa

I think so far, Utaka and Olofinja have not pulled their weight.

Wacko,

Why was Kanu a starter? Why did they cancel the two gaol from Aghawoga? Nigeria will not make it to the next round.

If we are to win, we have to get rid of the Yoroba players from the team. An award winning Igbo coach should not be saddled with lazy Yoroba players.

This is no way to play at the Cup of Nationas:

We needed to take the game more seriously - we virtually allowed the Moroccans to do what they wanted to do and it was only when they scored we were able to turn on the pressure

Vote of Confidence for Chairman Ckukwu:
quote:
Eagles coach Chukwu wins vote of confidence

Sports minister Musa Mohammed has declared his confidence in the ability of Super Eagles manager Christian Chukwu, despite the Cup of Nations defeat to Morocco. Nigeria, among the favourites for this year's crown, were beaten 1-0 in their opening game on Tuesday. But Mohammed said "I still have confidence in Chukwu." He added: "I think that the team Chukwu presented for the match against Morocco is the best that the country can present at the moment. It was unfortunate that we lost, but in football sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. I think that if Chukwu and the players are given a bit of a push, we will be alright in the next two games," Mohammed said.
