I think the Pistons have driven the dagger deep into the heart of the Lakers. One minute to go in game #4, and the Pistons are about to go 3-1. History is not good for the Lakers if they go down in Detroit tonight. It is now 86-78 Pistons.

Even with the last quarter at 8:41, the pistons are playing with some much zeal that one might think they are the ones losing. Yet they are leading the lakers by 25 points.
How are the Mighty Fallen....
Does this not mean that Gary Payton and Karl Malone are going to be denied the championship rings that they sold their souls trying to get?
And eventually, the Pistons will hang on to the lead to beat the Lakers and win the championship. What a powerful ending--indeed offense might win games, but DEFENSE wins championships!
Larry Brown finally wins an NBA title.
And the fire has been lit on the ropes that held the Lakers together. Just watch the team crumble like a pack of cards as the days go by. I daresay today we saw the end of a dynasty.
Fairy-tale endings do indeed occur in sports.
Now, may the Larry O'Brian Trophy proceed to the East. It is long overdue.

Pistons deserves the Title. They had masterful game plans for the series against the Lakers. Their defense was terrific that the Lakers looked like High School kids on the court.
I see the PISTONS repeating as champions next year. The Lakers are going to be down for a while since they have to go though a rebuilding year.
I don't feel sorry for Karl Malone because I have always said that he is a dirty player that brought a Charles Berkley curse on the Likers. That is where ever he goes that team will lose. For his sake I hope he retires because he will never win a championship.
As for Gary Payton, he might want to try and get into the Piston team if he can guarantee not to bring the curse with him.
Congratulation the the PISTON team and organization.
